INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-TRAINING CENTER-DAY (One Month Ago)
[Four young Space Command officers (Heath Regan, Diego Maxa, Melissa Crenshaw, and Kyrie Maxa) are going through a harsh training session in the holo-range area, as they are preparing for duty.]
DIEGO MAXA:
Man! This is brutal!
KYRIE MAXA:
Hey, cheer up, bro...in a few minutes, we'll be out on patrol!
HEATH REGAN:
Come on you two...enough sibling rivalry...we got to train!
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
Yeah!
[The four continue their training.]
EXT.-ONYX-TAVERN-DAY
[As three villainous beings depart the tavern, a hooded being approaches with a small box. Soon, a platoon of yellow minion soldiers grab the hooded being's arms.]
MOTHROS:
Caprisects...begone!
[The Caprisects unhand the being, and stand ready. Mothros then opens the box, seeing a yellowish-green glow.]
Just what we need to conquer Earth!
[One Caprisect seems to act a bit differently than the others.]
EXT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-DAY (Present Day)
[As the camera "flies" through the station, we see the installation on a typical day...officers performing their duties, etc.]
NARRATOR:
The year is twenty-eleven...the United Governments of Earth have set up an intergalactic peace-keeping agency known as Space Command, to combat all threats to and from the planet Earth, including the villainous Alliance from the planet Onyx, who has targeted the Earth for their next invasion. Space Command has prepared for this day by giving five young, elite officers special training in order to combat the menace.
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-ADMIRAL'S OFFICE-DAY
[A lone, male Aquitian officer named AQUIOS is in the office. He makes his report to Admiral Gabriel "Gabe" Crenshaw.
AQUIOS:
Admiral, I was embedded with the Alliance, spying on them at the Onyx Tavern. What I saw, can be a harbinger of what is to come, sir.
GABRIEL CRENSHAW:
Proceed with your report, officer.
AQUIOS:
Admiral...the Alliance is planning for a planetary invasion.
GABRIEL CRENSHAW:
Do you know what planet?
AQUIOS:
I do, sir...Earth!
GABRIEL CRENSHAW:
Are you sure?
AQUIOS:
Yes! Sir...I even saw them accept a wooden box. When Mothros opened it, whatever was inside, glowed a greenish color.
[The Admiral shows a look of acceptance on his face.]
Sir...they're coming for Earth.
[The Admiral's facial expression then turns grim.]
GABE CRENSHAW:
Thank you, Aquios...That'll be all...good job. Dismissed.
[Aquios exits the room. The Admiral then goes to a computer monitor, and contacts the Tech Lab.]
Lieutenant Commander Cohen, please.
[The Admiral looks even more concerned.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-HIVE SHIP-COMMAND ROOM-NIGHT
[The three villains...Cometosis, Metroix, and their leader, Mothros gather in the room.]
COMETOSIS:
We will arrive at Earth within a couple hours, Mothros!
MOTHROS:
Excellent! Those meddlesome Space Command officers will attempt to stop us.
METROIX:
Why don't we destroy their orbiting station?
MOTHROS:
An excellent idea, Metroix! Then we'll have no problem attacking the planet...starting with the city of Gardenville, California.
[The three villains continue to plot their invasion.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-TECH LAB-DAY
[The next morning, Admiral Crenshaw is in the Tech Lab, talking to a young African-American woman, LIEUTENANT COMMANDER McKENNA COHEN.]
GABE CRENSHAW:
Commander...I want you to put "Project: S.G." into full action.
McKENNA COHEN:
Yes, sir!
GABE CRENSHAW:
Do you have the candidate files?
McKENNA COHEN:
The files are on this USB Drive. Are you sure about the candidates?
GABE CRENSHAW:
Yes...right now, we have no choice but to hurry. The Alliance is coming to invade Earth.
[The Admiral departs the Tech Lab.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-OPSCOMM-DAY
[Captain Nathan Maxa is in Operations Command, or OpsComm with his senior officers. On the viewscreen, everyone witnesses the arrival of the Alliance Hive Ship.]
LISA ARMSTRONG:
This is Space Command Control...unknown vessel...identify! Captain! I've been trying to hail the ship, but we're being ignored!
NATHAN MAXA:
Launch the patrol cruisers. Maybe that'll get their attention.
MIKO NAOKO:
Sir! They're firing!
NATHAN MAXA:
Raise the shields! Go to alert status!
[The alert klaxon sounds.]
Battle stations!
MIKO NAOKO:
Too late!
NATHAN MAXA:
All hands! Brace for impact!
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-CORRIDORS-DAY
[As the alert klaxon sounds, the stations inhabitants flood the corridors to get to their assigned posts. Various officers run to the hangar bays, and their patrol cruisers. Suddenly, the station shakes violently.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-OPSCOMM-DAY
[Captain Maxa is trying to regain control of the situation as Admiral Crenshaw and Lieutenant Commander Cohen try to help. Amidst the chaos, the five officers enter as well...their hangar deck is nearby.]
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
Father!
DIEGO MAXA AND KYRIE MAXA:
Dad!
MAKO NAOKO:
The station cannot take another hit like that!
NATHAN MAXA:
Suggestions, Admiral?
GABE CRENSHAW:
Abandon the station! Everyone to the shuttles and escape pods! Nathan! Take everyone to the sub-station on Eltar.
[As everyone tries to leave OpsComm, another blast makes the station shake violently again. The station loses power as computer screens and panels explode (ala Star Trek-style).]
I'm taking over. I want you five officers to take over the other stations. McKenna...I want you at Navigations.
McKENNA COHEN:
Navigations?
GABE CRENSHAW:
Yes...Operations Command can detach from the rest of the station.
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
Father!?
KYRIE MAXA:
Admiral!?
GABE CRENSHAW:
Relax, everyone...we're going to Eltar as well.
[The Operations Command module detaches from the rest of the station, and starts to fly to Eltar.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-HIVE SHIP-COMMAND ROOM-DAY
[The three villains are pleased with the progress that they are making.]
MOTHORS:
Fire on that station module!
[The Hive Ship fires at the detached OpsComm, and makes the "ship" detour to Earth.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-OPSCOMM MODULE-COMMAND-DAY
[The module is detoured to Earth, and begins to enter the atmosphere.]
McKENNA COHEN:
Sir!
HEATH REGAN:
Shields are up!
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
We're heading for those mountains!
AQUIOS:
Brace for impact!
McKENNA COHEN:
Thrusters are online, and firing!
[The detached section of the Space Station flies over the city of Gardenville, and heads toward the mountains.]
EXT.-MOUNTAINS-DAY
[The OpsComm Module lands in between two rock formations.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-HIVE SHIP-DAY
[The three villains are gloating.]
COMETOSIS:
We made that module crash on Earth!
METROIX:
But the other officers escaped to Eltar.
MOTHROS:
Yes...but the ones on Earth are now deceased, and won't be a problem for us or our plans for the planet. Prepare for a scout party. Metroix...you will take a platoon of Caprisects and scout the targeted city.
METROIX:
With pleasure, sir!
[Metroix and some Caprisects depart for the city.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-OPSCOMM MODULE-COMMAND-DAY
[The two high ranking officers and five elite patrol officers recover from the landing.]
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
Hey! We're okay!
GABE CRENSHAW:
Secure all stations...I want you five to go scout the immediate area.
[The five officers exit the base, and scout around outside the installation.]
EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[Metroix and his platoon of Caprisects arrive, and immediately scout the area.]
METROIX:
This will be an excellent place to start our expedition!
[Metroix stands in one spot as the Caprisects fan out.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-OPSCOMM MODULE-COMMAND-DAY
[Gabe and McKenna prepare to present Project: S.G. to the five officers.]
GABE CRENSHAW:
McKenna...is everything ready?
McKENNA COHEN:
Yes, sir. I hope they're ready.
GABE CRENSHAW:
(looking at the USB Drive from earlier)
They better be...those five are the Earth's only hope.
[Suddenly, the alert klaxon sounds. Gabe and McKenna look at the monitors and see that there is trouble in the quarry. There is a look of conviction on the Admiral's face.]
Get them in here. It's time to activate "Project: S.G.."
[The two high ranking officers look very concerned. TO BE CONTINUED...]
