EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[Metroix and his platoon of Caprisects arrive, and immediately scout the area.]
METROIX:
This will be an excellent place to start our expedition!
[Metroix stands in one spot as the Caprisects fan out.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-OPSCOMM MODULE-COMMAND-DAY
[Gabe and McKenna prepare to present Project: S.G. to the five officers.]
GABE CRENSHAW:
McKenna...is everything ready?
McKENNA COHEN:
Yes, sir. I hope they're ready.
GABE CRENSHAW:
(looking at the USB Drive from earlier)
They better be...those five are the Earth's only hope.
[Suddenly, the alert klaxon sounds. Gabe and McKenna look at the monitors and see that there is trouble in the quarry.]
GABE CRENSHAW:
(with conviction)
Get them in here. It's time to activate them.
[The two high ranking officers look very concerned. Within seconds, the five officers re-enter the Operations Command room.]
Okay, guys...it is time to fight back...or else the Earth will fall to the Alliance. Commander Cohen...activate Guardian Command.
McKENNA COHEN:
Yes, Admiral.
[With a few pressed buttons, several wall panels open up to reveal hidden compartments. Another panel opens up to give a direct passageway from the main OpsComm room to the Briefing Room. The five officers sit at the table as their two superiors flank them.]
GABE CRENSHAW:
This is now Guardian Command. You five being here is no accident. You were all chosen to protect the Earth as a special task force unit to combat the Alliance. McKenna...give them their gear.
McKENNA COHEN:
Everyone...these are your Star Morphers and Star Cards.
HEATH REGAN:
Excuse me...Star what!?
GABE CRENSHAW:
You five are now Star Guardian Power Rangers.
[The five officers seem excited.]
Do you accept your new assignment?
AQUIOS:
On behalf of my fellow officers...yes!
[Suddenly, the alarm klaxon rings out...Gabe checks the monitors...there is trouble in the quarry.]
GABE CRENSHAW:
Heath...I want you to go and do some reconnaissance in the quarry while you four will be on stand-by.
[Heath departs the base for the quarry.]
EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[Heath arrives, and surveys the area with a scanning device. Heath then taps his communicator lapel pin.]
HEATH REGAN:
Regan to OpsComm...so far, I am not detecting anything.
[Suddenly, Metroix appears, and Heath's scanner starts beeping wildly.]
METROIX:
How very observant! I am Metroix...top warrior of the Alliance! This planet is now ours to invade! All humans will be annihilated!
HEATH REGAN:
I'd like to see you try it!
METROIX:
Meteor Blast!
[Metroix raises his forearms and sends a plasma blast toward Heath, who rolls out of it's way.]
HEATH REGAN:
(into his communicator)
Correction! I've engaged the Alliance!
[Heath unholsters his Space Command issued laser pistol, and fires at Metroix. The two battle each other on a ridge as the villain uses his wrist scythes.]
This guy's brutal!
METROIX:
On puny little human isn't gonna hurt me! You're just as weak down here on Earth than you're buddies were on that space station that I targeted!
HEATH REGAN:
What did you say!?
METROIX:
That's right! I pressed the buttons to fire upon your space station! Meteor Blast!
[Metroix fires off two more plasma blasts, but Heath dodges the fireballs again.]
You're no match for me, human!
[Metroix departs, leaving Heath a bit puzzled.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Meanwhile, spheres of green ooze materialize from the ground and form into the yellow insect-like CAPRISECTS...beings with a golden ram-head on their faces. The minions start attacking citizens with their blade weapons. Several even destroy a parked car. Soon, the Black and Yellow Rangers leap in with their secondary weapons.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
Guardian Axe!
YELLOW STAR RANGER:
Guardian Claw!
[The two rangers battle the minions, who fire green lasers from their blade weapons.]
BLACK STAR RANGER AND YELLOW STAR RANGER:
Land Combo!
[The combined attack defeats some of the Caprisects. The two battle more minions, but are fired upon by the Blue Ranger, who is on top of a building.]
BLUE STAR RANGER:
Guardian Spear! Blue Shark Attack!
[The Blue Ranger uses his weapon to blast Caprisects to their backs. He then leaps off of the building to join the other two, blasting the minions with blue laser blasts. Soon, the Caprisects vanish.]
Any idea on where Heath and Melissa are?
BLACK STAR RANGER:
My guess is that they're on their way.
[Soon, more Caprisects materialize, and attack with their weapons. The three go on the defensive to battle them. Suddenly, the Pink Ranger flies in with her Guardian Blaster.]
PINK STAR RANGER:
Pink Falcon Aerial Blast!
[The Pink Ranger blasts at a bunch of Caprisects to destroy them. Soon, more minions appear, and surround the four rangers. Heath then arrives, and uses his Star Morpher and Star Card to take out some of the minions.]
HEATH REGAN:
Tornadic Cyclone!
[Heath then joins the others.]
BLUE STAR RANGER:
(opening his morpher, and inserting his Skill Card)
I've had enough of these freaks...Hydro Jet!
[The card activates several jets of water, which emerge from the ground to destroy the remaining Caprisects.]
That got 'em!
[Once all the minions disappear, the team rests, and talks of their new mission.]
These powers are cool!
BLACK STAR RANGER:
I've never felt anything like it before!
ALL RANGERS:
Power down!
DIEGO MAXA:
Yeah, the powers feel awesome!
KYRIE MAXA:
Take it easy, bro! Before you get too excited!
[Heath taps his communicator lapel.]
HEATH REGAN:
Admiral...are there any other problems that you're aware of?
voice of GABE CRENSHAW:
That's a negative, Heath.
[Suddenly, a Swarm Alien named SCARABUS appears, and destroys several buildings to absorb the debris from it. The four rangers and Heath see this, and rush to the scene.]
HEATH REGAN:
Actually, sir...I believe we may have stumbled onto a new problem. We're going to investigate.
voice of GABE CRENSHAW:
Be careful, guys!
BLUE STAR RANGER:
Hey, ugly!
SCARABUS:
Ah, the rangers! Mothros told me about you freaks!
[Scarabus traps the four rangers into some of his debris balls. He tried to get Heath, but he escaped in time.]
HEATH REGAN:
(seeing his trapped comrades)
Oh, no!
[Heath uses his sidearm to try to free the others. Suddenly, the four blast out by themselves. The four then de-morph in exhaustion.]
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
You'll have to do better than that, Scarabus!
SCARABUS:
(as he prepares to attack again)
No problem!
[The five all stand in a row against the Swarm Alien, who is standing on top of his large sphere.]
You rangers are bothersome! Caprisects!
[A platoon of two dozen minions materialize, and stalk the officers.]
HEATH REGAN:
Now you've done it!
SCARABUS:
Done what!? made five puny humans angry! Oh, I'm so scared!
HEATH REGAN:
You should be!
[The five officers un-holster their Star Morphers, and Morph Cards.]
ALL OFFICERS:
Star Morpher!
[The five open the slot on the morpher as the pictures appear on the cards.]
Insert Card!
[The five insert their cards, and shut the morpher. They hold the devices over their heads with their extended left arms to the sky.]
Activate!
[The bodies of the five officers glow in their respective ranger colors. The suits form (except the helmet). Angel wings for the chest symbol, and the Guardian Spirits form the helmets.]
RED STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Stormy Sky! Red Star Ranger!
BLACK STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Rocky Land! Black Star Ranger!
BLUE STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Surging Sea! Blue Star Ranger!
PINK STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Breathtaking Sky! Pink Star Ranger!
YELLOW STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Fertile Land! Yellow Star Ranger!
ALL RANGERS:
(posing)
Protectors Of Earth! Power Rangers: Star Guardians!
[Explosions errupt behind the five rangers.]
SCARABUS:
You five rangers are still no match for me! Caprisects!
[A hundred Caprisects materialize from the ground, and face the rangers, who look a bit overwhelmed, but ready to battle Scarabus and his Caprisects. TO BE CONTINUED...]

The battle between the rangers and the Alliance reaches full scale, and the team's communication abilities with Space Command hits a bit of a snag, leading Aquios to take position as team commander.
