[The six officers relax, and think back to their childhoods.]
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
I remember when I was in grade school, and little Jimmy Brock kept messing with my hair...but little did everyone realize...I had a little crush on him.
AQUIOS:
(felling a bit out of place)
I can't really remember my childhood.
HEATH REGAN:
It's okay, Aquios...Some of us can't remember everything from our childhoods.
[The six continue to talk things over.]
INT.-FOREST-UNDERGROUND-YOMAZHO LAIR-DAY
[The two remaining villains ponder a new plan...incapacitate the rangers...permanently! A Yomazho Monster (Tempus) enters the lair to offer his services.]
TEMPUS:
I am Tempus...and I have a plan to incapacitate the rangers by sending them back in time!
AKUI:
Fine...go to the city, and put your plan into action.
[Tempus departs the underground lair.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Tempus creates chaos by zapping the park-goers into infants. Soon, the six officers arrive.]
DIEGO MAXA:
What did you do to them!?
KYRIE MAXA:
He turned them into babies!
TEMPUS:
You six are next, rangers! Golemsects!
HEATH REGAN:
Well, let's give him a diaper rash!
[The six officers grab their morphers, and morph.]
ALL CORE OFFICERS:
Star Morphers!
AUSTIN BALDUCCI:
Star Cell Morpher!
ALL OFFICERS:
Insert Card! Activate!
[The suits "fully-form" over the six. The six use their Star Pistols (and Star Sniper) to battle the Golemsects. Within a few minutes, the rangers defeat the Golemsects, and turn their attention towards Tempus.]
TEMPUS:
You rangers shall feel my wrath!
[The monster then uses his staff to conjure up a spell to try his craft against the rangers (except Silver, who dodges the beam). Unfortunately for Tempus, he accidentally sends the core rangers back in time...to when they were in their Space Command Academy days. After the portal closes, Tempus realizes his mistake.]
Oh, no! I sent them back in time instead of turning them into babies! Oh, well...they're out of my hair anyways!
[Tempus goes to zap other citizens into babies.]
ALTERNATE DIMENSION-SPACE COMMAND ACADEMY-DAY
[The core five officers arrive at the academy. All look at their clothing...cadet uniforms! An older adult, an academy instructor welcomes them to the academy.]
INSTRUCTOR:
Good morning, cadets...welcome to the Space Command Academy. Our first order of business is to shave that flab off of all of you!
[The five are in shock.]
HEATH REGAN:
We're in the past! Our academy days!
[The five are still very much in shock.]
INT.-FOREST-UNDERGROUND-YOMAZHO LAIR-DAY
[Tempus reports back to the two generals.]
AKUI:
What! You sent five of the rangers back in time, and not into diapers!
TEMPUS:
I'm sorry boss! I got two words of the spell mixed up!
UPACRA:
Well, at least he got rid of them!
AKUI:
For now...what if they find some way to return! Okay...we still have time.
[The three come up with an addendum to their plans.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-OPSCOMM-DAY
[McKenna reports to Gabe.]
McKENNA COHEN:
Admiral...communication with the core rangers on Earth has been lost. Sergeant Balducci reports that they were hit by some sort of ray from the current enemy, known as Tempus.
GABE CRENSHAW:
Austin is okay?
McKENNA COHEN:
Yes, sir. Sir, Tempus is a time-based enemy. Should I star searching previous time periods?
GABE CRENSHAW:
Yes, Commander...search the previous timelines for them.
McKENNA COHEN:
(searching the timelines on a computer)
Sir! I found them in two thousand eight...at the academy!
GABE CRENSHAW:
What were the Yomazho thinking!?
[The two try to work on a way to rescue them.]
ALTERNATE DIMENSION-SPACE COMMAND ACADEMY-MESS HALL-DAY
[Over lunch, the five time-displaced officers notice that they still have their communicators, and try to use them.]
HEATH REGAN:
Regan to OpsComm....Regan to OpsComm...come in!?
[The task proves to be a failure.]
KYRIE MAXA:
I wonder how Austin is doing?
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
More importantly...I wonder how we're gonna get out of here!?
[Soon, the time period McKenna walks into the room.]
AQUIOS:
Commander!
McKENNA COHEN:
Actually, Cadet...I'm a Junior Grade Lieutenant.
DIEGO MAXA:
(being cool and suave)
Sorry, sir...we thought you were someone else.
[McKenna leaves the table.]
AQUIOS:
A Junior Grade Lieutenant? We're in 2008, guys. The year we all came into Space Command as cadets...and this McKenna's rank proves it!
HEATH REGAN:
We got to get back to two thousand eleven...who knows what chaos the Yomazho are causing!
[and the five continue to eat their meals.]
EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[Meanwhile, the Silver Ranger is battling a platoon of Caprisects with his Star Razor. He then returns the weapon into it's blaster form, and ultimately forms the Gatling Sniper, and defeats the minions. Soon, Tempus and Upacra arrive, and the Silver Ranger blasts Tempus to defeat him, which releases the others.]
AQUIOS:
We're back!
SILVER STAR RANGER:
You guys better morph!
ALL CORE OFFICERS:
(as Tempus grows)
Right! Star Morphers! Insert Card! Activate!
[The suits "fully-form" over the six.]
RED STAR RANGER:

[Soon, the Hyper Megazord arrives to help.]

Hyper Megazord, Let's Fight!
[The two massive robots battle Tempus, until he starts to overpower them.]
RED STAR RANGER:
Let's help them!
ALL CORE RANGERS:
(as they prepare their morphers as cards)
Insert Card! Starzords, Activate!
[The five initial Starzords arrive, and the five rangers board them.]
Starzords, Guardian Unity!
[The five zords join together.]
Star Megazord, On Guard!
RED STAR RANGER:
Dragon Star Blade!
[The megazord uses it's sword.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Star Strike!
HYPER MEGAZORD:
Hyper Strike!
SILVER STAR RANGER:
Lion Strike!
[The three-way attack makes Tempus cackle in green lightning bolts before shrugs off the attacks.]
TEMPUS:
You'll have to do better than that!
ALL RANGERS:
Guardian Unity!
[The Star And LeoMax Megazords "break" apart, in order to form the...]
StarMax Megazord, On Guard For Earth!
[The combined megazord in it's Land Mode prepares to use it's finisher as the rangers insert their victory cards.]
StarMax Strike!
[The staff is used in the final attack…a carpet-bomb style strike to make Ace cackle in red lightning bolts. As the monster collapses and explodes, the rangers celebrate in the cockpit.]
INT.-FOREST-UNDERGHROUND-YOMAZHO LAIR-NIGHT
[The two generals are not happy...as usual.]
AKUI:
Another plot foiled by those pesky power pukes!

[That night, the team relaxes in the Recreation Room.]
HEATH REGAN:
That was a weird battle.
DIEGO MAXA:
Let's not do that again!
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
You said it. I do not want to re-live some of my academy days!

PRSG #38-Hurtful Words

INT.-UNDERGROUND-YOMAZHO LAIR-NIGHT
[Akui and Ingu decide to release upacra, but still have not forgiven him for his failures.]
INGU:
Upacra...the only thing that you have ever been good for is your Caprisects and Cyclobats. Well, I am calling upon a powerful friend of mine...Moodigoon!
[Akui and Ingu depart the room, leaving Upacra alone.]
UPACRA:
(scheming)
Well...I have plans of my own!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Three girls walk together. A splash of water hits one, and she all of a sudden tells them off before departing (the others follow). The cause of the attack is a small head peeking out of a small puddle...it's Moodigoon.]
MOODIGOON:
Yes!
[Moodigoon the turns around in time to see the five core officers running toward him. The monster leaps out of the puddle to fully introduce himself.
I am Moodigoon...and it's time to cause some chaos!
[Moodigoon then "eye-blasts" the five, who "insta-morph" to deflect the blast.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Star Pistols!
[The five rangers unholster their blasters to fire them at Moodigoon, but he escapes into the puddle.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
I'll cut you down to size! Guardian Axe!
[As the Black Ranger charges, Moodigoon sprays him with a stream of water to make himcackle in white lightning bolts, and spark. Once on the ground, he is forced out of morph.]
YELLOW STAR RANGER:
(as she and the others rush to check on him)
Diego!
[The Silver Ranger then arrives to blast Moodigoon with his Star Sniper to force the monster to retreat.]
ALL STAR RANGERS:
Power Down!
[Once the suits vanish from the five, they all return to check on Diego. They help him back to the station, but they do not notice a small silver seashell on the back of his neck.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE STATION-RECREATION ROOM-DAY
[Diego enters the room, toweling off his hair after a shower. He thinks that the others are talking about him behind his back.]
HEATH REGAN:
Felling better, Diego?
DIEGO MAXA:
Yeah...that shower worked.
AQUIOS:
Good...we're heading back down to look for that monster.
[The team departs the room to go look for Moodigoon. A semi-depressed Diego decides to go to the quarry to practice.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Upacra seems to be intrigued by Moodigoons seashells while holding one.]
UPACRA:
So these are the little things that are turning people against each other!
MOODIGOON:
Yes, Upacra.
[When Ingu turns around, Upacra secretly plants on on his hair.]
UPACRA:
Let the games begin!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[A little later that day, Moodigoon goes on a "splash spree" to infect others. Soon, the infected citizens are at each other's throats. Moodigoon enjoys the chaos until the four remaining core rangers arrive, using their Guardian Weapons.]
MOODIGOON:
(angered)
You pesky rangers are making me very angry! Caprisects...attack!
[A platoon of Caprisect minions appear to keep the four busy as Moodigoon makes his escape.]
BLUE STAR RANGER:
Where'd he go!?
RED STAR RANGER:
We'll worry about him in a bit...let's take care of these bugs!
[The four rangers battle the Caprisects.]
EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[The Black Ranger uses his Guardian Axe to practice his moves better. Suddenly, his morpher chimes...the others need his help, but due to the effects of the seashell, he thinks that they do not want him as a ranger anymore. He then collapses to the ground in a sitting position, and de-morphs. Diego is even more de-pressed as Moodigoon peeks through a puddle to spy.]
MOODIGOON:
Ah, the Black Ranger! He looks very depressed! Good...it's working!
[Soon, the Silver Ranger arrives, and talks with Diego.]
SILVER STAR RANGER:
Officer Diego Maxa! The others need you in the city.
DIEGO MAXA:
No they don't. They don't want me as a fellow ranger.
SILVER STAR RANGER:
You are a Power Ranger until the Admiral decides. So, that means that you will continue to follow the mission...protect the Earth against all evil!
[Diego contemplates what the Silver Ranger is telling him.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Ingu gets a dose of the seashell's power, and thinks that Akui wants to dispose of him...A.S.A.P.!]
EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[A super angry Ingu arrives, and uses his staff to blast as he joins Moodigoon's side. The Silver Ranger's words start to get through to Diego as the others arrive.]
INGU:
Upacra and Akui will pay for their insolence!
[Ingu continues to produce powerful energy waves to attack the rangers, making them collapse. He then sends Diego (back-first) up into a rock-face. The unmorphed ranger then falls to the ground, injured. The shell shatters from Diego's neck.]
DIEGO MAXA:
(as he recovers, and the others struggle to...then puts on his uniform jacket)
Hey! Losers! I'm back!
[A new Star Card (a Guardian Morph card) appears, and puts it into his morpher]
Power Of The Guardians, Acitvate!
[Ingu hurtles fireballs, but the morph deflects it. Wings appear, as does his suit (without the helmet) with the Guardian Scepter. The armor forms before the helmet.]
BLACK GUARDIAN RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Rocky Land!
[The Black Ranger calmly walks toward Ingu, and uses his sends him flying into the same rock-face. The villain then lands on the ground where the Black Ranger slices at him, then leaps upward to attack the villain.]
Super Guardian Slash!
[Ingu cackles in yellow lightning bolts. As the residual power explodes, Ingu is revealed to be badly hurt. The others join Black's side as the Silver Ranger uses his Star Razor.]
SILVER STAR RANGER:
Silver Star Slash!
[The attack sends Moodigoon flying back to Ingu.]
ALL RANGERS:
Star Ranger…Guardian Mode, Activate!
[The powers of the Ancient Dragon, Falcon, Tiger, and Shark Adapters are released, and the Guardian Armor forms onto the rangers' boot and glove cuffs, and then the chest. The core Star Rangers are now Guardian Rangers.

RED GUARDIAN RANGER:

[A flying symbol is sent to attack Ingu and Moodigoon, who cackle in red lightning bolts, and are enveloped in a massive fireball...then explode as the Guardian Rangers pose victoriously. Ingu goes flying backwards as hie seashell shatters. A scheming Upacra watches from the top of the cliff.]
UPACRA:
Everything is going according to plan! Cyclobats!
[Five one-eyed bat creatures appear, and inject poison into Moodigoon to revive and make him grow.]
ALL RANGERS:
Insert Card! Starzords, Activate!
[The eight initial Starzords (with the Silver Ranger transforming into the Lion Starzord) arrive on scene, and the rangers board them. The rangers quickly form the megazords.]
Starzords, Guardian Unity!
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Star Megazord, On Guard!
SILVER STAR RANGER:
LeoMax Megazord, Protecting The Earth!
[The two megazords converge on the giant monster, who uses another "eye-blast" at the two. The LeoMax takes the hit as the Star Megazord takes to the skies (complete with flapping wings). The robot then comes down to strike with the right leg.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
Snake Stomp!
[The LeoMax then delivers a powerful punch to make the monster go down.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
No one makes a mockery of me! Insert Card! Power Of The Guardians! Land Guardian Adapters!
[The three Adapters are summoned, and come out of the card.]
Land Guardian Adapters! Unite!
[The three Land Guardian Adapters join together to form the...]
ALL RANGERS:
LandStar Megazord, On Guard!
[The megazord performs the Beetle Head Strike to grab and throw Moodigoon upward. The megazord then flies upward to execute it's finisher.]
Land Strike!
[The drill head of the Rhino Adapter spins, and hits Moodigoon in the waist area to make him cackle in red lightning bolts, then explodes in mid-air. The megazord lands next to the LeoMax to pose victoriously. In the LandStar's cockpit, the Black Ranger celebrates the victory.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-NIGHT
[As the sun sets, the team rallies around Diego.]
EXT.-QUARRY-NIGHT
[A severely wounded Ingu hobbles back to the forest. Upacra watches Ingu from a distance.]
UPACRA:
You did a fine job, Ingu! A fine job! It's only a matter of time before Akui and Ingu fall!
[Upacra grins with anticipation of his plan in progress.]

Everything is going according to plan! Cyclobats!
[Five one-eyed bat creatures appear, and inject poison into Moodigoon to revive and make him grow.]
ALL RANGERS:
Insert Card! Starzords, Activate!
[The eight initial Starzords (with the Silver Ranger transforming into the Lion Starzord) arrive on scene, and the rangers board them. The rangers quickly form the megazords.]
Starzords, Guardian Unity!
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Star Megazord, On Guard!
SILVER STAR RANGER:
LeoMax Megazord, Protecting The Earth!
[The two megazords converge on the giant monster, who uses another "eye-blast" at the two. The LeoMax takes the hit as the Star Megazord takes to the skies (complete with flapping wings). The robot then comes down to strike with the right leg.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
Snake Stomp!
[The LeoMax then delivers a powerful punch to make the monster go down.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
No one makes a mockery of me! Insert Card! Power Of The Guardians! Land Guardian Adapters!
[The three Adapters are summoned, and come out of the card.]
Land Guardian Adapters! Unite!
[The three Land Guardian Adapters join together to form the...]
ALL RANGERS:
LandStar Megazord, On Guard!
[The megazord performs the Beetle Head Strike to grab and throw Moodigoon upward. The megazord then flies upward to execute it's finisher.]
Land Strike!
[The drill head of the Rhino Adapter spins, and hits Moodigoon in the waist area to make him cackle in red lightning bolts, then explodes in mid-air. The megazord lands next to the LeoMax to pose victoriously. In the LandStar's cockpit, the Black Ranger celebrates the victory.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-NIGHT
[As the sun sets, the team rallies around Diego.]
EXT.-QUARRY-NIGHT
[A severely wounded Ingu hobbles back to the forest. Upacra watches Ingu from a distance.]
UPACRA:
You did a fine job, Ingu! A fine job! It's only a matter of time before Akui and Ingu fall!
[Upacra grins with anticipation of his plan in progress.]

[The six officers enjoy a comedy show at the city's SummerFest. All laugh at the jokes and punch-lines...except for Aquios, who doesn't get the jokes (since he is not of Earth).]
AQUIOS:
I don't get it!
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
See...he said to the pumpkin...orange you glad...and the pumpkin is orange!
[All turn around to watch the rest of the show. Suddenly, Kyrie's head distorts as she and the other audience members turn into yellow energy orbs. Soon, the laughter-hating Yomazho Monster, SERIOSCORP comes onto the stage, and shows off the gourd that absorbed the laughing people.]
SERIOSCORP:
Speaking of pumpkins! I am Serioscorp...and have I got a gourd for you!
DIEGO MAXA:
That monster trapped my sister in that gourd!
SERIOSCORP:
Those that I have absorbed into this gourd will soon become energy for me to feast on!
HEATH REGAN:
By order of Space Command, We demand that you let them go!
SERIOSCORP:
You'll have to catch me first!
[Serioscorp runs out of the plaza with the officers following them.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Serioscorp runs from the already-morphed rangers into a grassy area, where the Silver Ranger uses his Star Sniper to blast him. The other rangers charge in, and attempt to grab the gourd away from the monster.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
Give that gourd up, Serioscorp!
SERIOSCORP:
What is so special about these puny hum...oh, wait! I caught a ranger in here, didn't I?
[The monster then leaps into the air to use his feathered gauntlets to deliver a strong, tornadic wind to blow everyone backward.]
SILVER STAR RANGER:
Star Sniper! Fire!
[Serioscorp is blasted down, but the monster tries to use another wind gust.]
RED STAR RANGER AND PINK STAR RANGER:
(as they open their morphers and insert a Star Card)
Insert Card! Summon, InvisiGust!
[Both vortexes collide to cancel out each other, and force the two rangers to the ground. The Silver Ranger then blasts Serioscorp again, who then retreats.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Serioscorp reports in to his superiors...the Yomazho generals.]
SERIOSCORP:
Everything is going according to plan, Akui...I even have the Yellow Power Ranger in here!
INGU:
Excellent work, my friend!
AKUI:
Yes...excellent! KKeep up the great work...and try to capture the other rangers as well!
SERIOSCORP:
Yes, my lord!
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[The remaining team members meet to strategize.]
HEATH REGAN:
We got to come up with a way to defeat that guy!
DIEGO MAXA:

[The remaining team members continue to strategize.]
INT.-CITY-COMEDY CLUB-DAY
[A comedian performs, and makes the crowd laugh. Serioscorp then appears, and absorbs the audience into his gourd.]
INT.-CITY-PARKING STRUCTURE-DAY
[The remaining rangers look for Serioscorp, who runs into them while he escapes from the comedy club.]
BLUE STAR RANGER:
Give us the gourd, Serioscorp!
SILVER STAR RANGER:
We won't let you get away!
[Blue prepares to battle, but Silver Charges in. Blue then leaps in to fire his Guardian Spear, then melee battles the monster, who strikes him down.
BLUE STAR RANGER:
Austin! You were to be my back up!
SILVER STAR RANGER:
There was obviously a lack of communication!
[Serioscorp then blind-sides the Blue Ranger, who counters alongside the Silver Ranger to battle the monster.]
BLUE STAR RANGER AND SILVER STAR RANGER:
(as they insert their Star Cards into their morphers)
Insert Card! Summon, Hydro Jet!
[The two use the power of Star Cards to blast streams of water at the monster, who counters with blasts of wind from his feathered gauntlets. Serioscorp then uses his tickle wind to ensnare the Pink and Black Rangers, who then get sucked into the gourd.]
SERIOSCORP:
(laughing as he taunts)
Three down...three to go!
[Serioscorp's laughing almost causes him to get sucked into his own gourd.]
Oops! I better not laugh...or I will get sucked in too!
[The monster then performs another wind attack to cover his escape.]
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-OUTDOOR THEATER-DAY
[Later that day, Heath and Aquios try to figure out what would make the latter laugh.]
HEATH REGAN:
Let's see...what would make you laugh?
[Heath then imitates a couple well known comedians, such as Bill Cosby, Lily Tomlin, and Jerry Seinfeld.]
How about a nice ice cream pop...one ringy-dingy...not that there's anything wrong with that...
[The three imitations do nothing for Aquios.]
Anything?
[Heath then unknowingly makes a funny face...which finally makes Aquios laugh. Nearby, Serioscorp is pleased that all of the laughter in the world is gone...then he hears Aquios' laugh.]
SERIOSCORP:
What is that disgusting sound!?
[The monster tracks down the laughter, and arrives in the stands of the outdoor theater. The two see the monster, and prepare for him.]
So that was you laughing! How revolting!
[The monster performs another wind attack, but are countered with two Star Card attacks from the two rangers.]
RED STAR RANGER AND BLUE STAR RANGER:
Insert Card! Summon...
RED STAR RANGER:
Sky Defender!
BLUE STAR RANGER:
Sea Defender!
[The Silver Ranger then arrives to help surround Serioscorp at blaster-point. The monster then farts, making the Red Ranger laugh, and gets sucked into the gourd. He's still upset that the two still don't laugh.]
SERIOSCORP:
Just you two are left! And since you two are the most boring rangers ever, I'll just have to destroy you!
[Silver and Blue come up with a plan.]
BLUE STAR RANGER:
You're out of your gourd, Serioscorp! Austin...I saw earlier that when he laughed, he almost got sucked into his own gourd.
SILVER STAR RANGER:
Insert Card! Summon, Thunderspark!
[The Silver Ranger uses the power of his Star Card to summon lightning bolts from the sky to knock the monster flat on his back (with his legs sticking upward).]
Now...that...was funny!
SERIOSCORP:
No that wasn't!
BLUE STAR RANGER:
What's black and white, and read all over?
[Sensing that the monster isn't getting it, the Blue Ranger delivers the punch-line.]
A newspaper!
[When Serioscorp finally gets it, he laughs so hard, that he's about to get sucked into the gourd. When he can't take it anymore, he is forced to release his captives...including the four rangers.]
SERIOSCORP:
Oh, no! You rangers tricked me!
RED STAR RANGER:
That's right...and now, you are the punch-line!
ALL RANGERS:
Star Ranger…Guardian Mode, Activate!
[The powers of the Ancient Dragon, Falcon, Snake, Tiger, and Shark Adapters are released, and the Guardian Armor forms onto the rangers' boot and glove cuffs, and then the chest. The core Star Rangers are now Guardian Rangers.

Right! Dynamic Guardian Blast!
SILVER STAR RANGER:
Gatling Blast!

[The orbs of all five Guardian Scepters glow, and releases a massive energy blast to defeat the monster. Soon, the Cyclobats show up, and revive Serioscorp to make him grow. The Guardian Rangers power down into their Star Ranger forms, and all summon the Star Megazord and the LeoMax Megazord.]

Let's take him down, rangers!
ALL RANGERS:
Yeah!
[Serioscorp uses his wind attacks on the megazords to push them back a bit. The LeoMax holds the monster while the Blue Ranger calls upon some assistance.]

[Kyrie is standing in an all white surrounding. She then hears a male voice calling out to her.]
MALE VOICE:
Ky...rie! Ky...rie!
[The voice appears to belong to a male figure in white robes. Just before he turns around to reveal his identity, she wakes up.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[In a grassy area, Kyrie wakes up...as Diego hovers above her (looking down).]
DIEGO MAXA:
You okay, sis?
KYRIE MAXA:
Yeah.
[Diego helps his sister up off of the grass.]
I must have dozed off...and had that weird dream again.
DIEGO MAXA:
Let's get back to the base.
[The two head back to the shuttle.]
INT.-UNDERGROUND-YOMAZHO LAIR-DAY
[Akui and Ingu continue to berate Upacra over his failures.]
AKUI:
Time and time again, you claimed to have a fool-proof plan to defeat the rangers!
INGU:
And time and time again, you have failed in those plans!

I'm sorry!
AKUI AND INGU:
It is no use to apologize, Upacra!
INGU:
Your days as a Yomazho are numbered!

Luckily, I have a plan in the works!

[The team discusses how they will fight the Yomazho from now on.]
KYRIE MAXA:
With our new Guardian powers, we won't have to worry about how to fight them! We're much stronger now!

When we fought the Alliance, he was Cometosis.

And now, since he revealed his true identity, as Upacra.

He's clearly aiming for more power...so be careful with him.
[The six agree, and prepare to go about the rest of their day.]

[Bothered by the dream, Kyrie walks through the park. She is then suddenly bathed in a golden dust, and hears the voice.
MALE VOICE:
Ky...rie! Ky...rie!
[Kyrie then walks into a fog bank, and sees her father...Captain Nathan Maxa. The two then hug, but she doesn't see his eyes glow red.]
KYRIE MAXA:
Daddy!
NATHAN MAXA:
Kyrie, I have missed you so much.
KYRIE MAXA:
Should I tell Diego that you are back?
NATHAN MAXA:
No...he mustn't know...and neither should the others.
KYRIE MAXA:
Understood.
[Suddenly, Kyrie receives a call on her communicator, and has to run off.]
I have to go...but, I will come back, father.
[Kyrie departs the park for the plaza.]
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[The Red, Pink, Black, and Blue Rangers battle Akui, who in turn blows up a couple of skyscrapers. All of the rangers use their Guardian Weapons, except for the Black Ranger, who would rather use his fists first...then his Guardian Axe.]
AKUI:
You rangers are not using your famous teamwork!
RED STAR RANGER:
We don't need the full team to use our teamwork!
[Akui then sends his cane flying around the four, causing them to spark, and flail.]
AKUI:
Why don't you call on that new power of yours?
RED STAR RANGER:
Gladly!
ALL RANGERS:
Star Ranger…Guardian Mode, Acitvate!
[The powers of the Ancient Dragon, Falcon, Snake, Tiger, and Shark Adapters are released, and the Guardian Armor forms onto the rangers' boot and glove cuffs, and then the chest. The core Star Rangers are now Guardian Rangers.
Power Up!
[The rangers recover, and use their Guardian Scepters to battle the Yomazho leader, who counters with his blobblish abilities. The Silver Ranger arrives, and blasts the villainous leader with his Star Sniper, which Akui deflects.]
AKUI:
You will have to do better than that, rangers!
[The Guardian Rangers and the Silver Ranger fire energy blasts at Akui, who then splatters into little puddles of goo, which then materialize into little miniature Akuis, then reform into one regular-sized Akui.]
YELLOW STAR RANGER:
Sorry I'm late, guys!
AKUI:
So, the yellow one showed up...it must be too soon!
[Akui retreats, and the Yellow Ranger runs off., and past Silver, who notices that something is off.]

[The rest of the rangers wonder what is going on.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Kyrie runs back to "Daddy," who wants her to go back with him. The two spend time in the park together. "Daddy" opens up a portal of white light as more "golden fairy dust" bathe the two. Kyrie is really not herself, seems to be possessed.]
voice of AKUI:
With the Yellow Ranger out of the picture, the rest of the rangers shall fall!
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[Akui makes it rain fireballs from the top of his head to draw out the rangers.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
You want us!?
RED STAR RANGER:
You got us!
[The four remaining core rangers charge into battle Akui. During the battle, the Black Ranger hears his sister scream.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
(distracted)
Kyrie!
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Kyrie screams when her "daddy" tries to grab her by force.]
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA DAY
[The distraction gives Akui the opportunity to strike the Black Ranger to send him flying. As the Blue and Pink Rangers check on their fallen comrade.]
RED STAR RANGER:
We got to hang on!
[The Red Ranger slashes Akui with his Guardian Sword.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[The Silver Ranger arrives to help Kyrie.]
SILVER STAR RANGER:
Insert Card! Summon, Thunderspark!
[The power of the Star Card destroys the portal, knocking Kyrie and "Daddy" down in the process.]
Kyrie! That is not your father...it's a Yomazho in disguise!
NATHAN MAXA:
(as he transforms)
Curses!
[The male humanoid transforms into a green, female Yomazho Monster.]
PIXILUSION:
I am Pixilusion!
KYRIE MAXA:
(very, very angry)
What!
SILVER STAR RANGER:
(knowing about Kyrie's temper)
Oh, oh! Now you've done it!
KYRIE MAXA:
No one tricks me, and gets away with it! Star Morpher, Insert Card! Activate!
[Kyrie morphs into the Yellow Ranger, and automatically has her Guardian Claw in hand.]
YELLOW STAR RANGER:
Austin! Cover me!
[Pixilusion and the two rangers battle, with the monster using a wand and a vine to try to whip the duo into shape. She then blasts the two with several fireballs. The Silver Ranger uses his Star Sniper to blast the monster, causing sparks. The monster then makes the two rangers dodge sparky explosions, and sends them off of a cliff.]
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[Akui strikes the Red Ranger with his hands to send him rolling. A lone Caprisect the arrives to tell Akui that Pixilusion's plan failed as the rangers recover.]
AKUI:
(angered)
What! I thought this plan was going too well.
[Akui then vanishes, leaving the Caprisect alone. The Red Ranger then taps the Caprisect on the shoulder.]
RED STAR RANGER:
Forget about us?
[The Red Ranger slices the minion with his sword.]
Come on! Kyrie and Austin need us!
[The four run to the park from the plaza.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Pixilusion continues to battle the Yellow and Silver Rangers as the others arrive blasting their Star Pistols.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Star Ranger…Guardian Mode, Acitvate!
[The powers of the Ancient Dragon, Falcon, Snake, Tiger, and Shark Adapters are released, and the Guardian Armor forms onto the rangers' boot and glove cuffs, and then the chest. The core Star Rangers are now Guardian Rangers.
Power Up!
ALL RANGERS:
(posing)
Guardians Of Earth! Power Rangers, hya!
[Pixilusion flame-blasts the six, then the Guardians leap through the fire to slice one-by-one in a blur. The Silver Ranger forms his Gatling Sniper to make the monster go down with a Gatling Blast, then the Guardians attack with their Dynamic Guardian Blast to make Pixilusion cackle in light blue lightning bolts, and go down in defeat. The rangers' Guardian Armor vanishes as Pixilusion grows. The five initial and three lion Starzords quickly arrive, and the rangers board them.]
StarMax Megazord, On Guard For Earth!
[Pixilusion then disguises herself as the Hyper Megazord, and punches the StarMax.]
BLUE STAR RANGER:
(standing up with a Star Card)
This ought to help us! Insert Card! Summon, Mirage!
[Suddenly, the power of the card makes the monster turn into a giant Caprisect.]
RED STAR RANGER:
Good move, Aquios!
ALL RANGERS:
TriStar Staff!
[The megazord uses it's staff to grab, and lift Pixilusion to toss her around.]
StarMax Strike!
[The megazord uses it's finisher to send a carpet bomb-style attack to the monster, to make her cackle in red lightning bolts. She then collapses and explodes. The Yellow Ranger celebrates in the cockpit as the megazord poses victoriously.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-RECREATION ROOM-NIGHT
[That night, Kyrie tells the others about her illusions.]
KYRIE MAXA:
And...I'm sorry, guys. But, Diego...I do miss our father.
DIEGO MAXA:
So do I, sis...so do I.

[Kyrie is standing in an all white surrounding. She then hears a male voice calling out to her.]
MALE VOICE:
Ky...rie! Ky...rie!
[The voice appears to belong to a male figure in white robes. Just before he turns around to reveal his identity, she wakes up.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[In a grassy area, Kyrie wakes up...as Diego hovers above her (looking down).]
DIEGO MAXA:
You okay, sis?
KYRIE MAXA:
Yeah.
[Diego helps his sister up off of the grass.]
I must have dozed off...and had that weird dream again.
DIEGO MAXA:
Let's get back to the base.
[The two head back to the shuttle.]
INT.-UNDERGROUND-YOMAZHO LAIR-DAY
[Akui and Ingu continue to berate Upacra over his failures.]
AKUI:
Time and time again, you claimed to have a fool-proof plan to defeat the rangers!
INGU:
And time and time again, you have failed in those plans!
UPACRA:
I'm sorry!
AKUI AND INGU:
It is no use to apologize, Upacra!
INGU:
Your days as a Yomazho are numbered!
AKUI:
Luckily, I have a plan in the works!
INT.-OUTER SPACE-SPACE COMMAND SPACE STATION-RECREATION ROOM-DAY
[The team discusses how they will fight the Yomazho from now on.]
KYRIE MAXA:
With our new Guardian powers, we won't have to worry about how to fight them! We're much stronger now!
DIEGO MAXA:
Sis, don't be so over-confident. They can defeat us at the drop of a dime!
HEATH REGAN:
Have you noticed anything about Upacra?
AUSTIN BALDUCCI:
He does seem a bit different.
AQUIOS:
When we fought the Alliance, he was Cometosis.
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
And now, since he revealed his true identity, as Upacra.
GABE CRENSHAW:
He's clearly aiming for more power...so be careful with him.
[The six agree, and prepare to go about the rest of their day.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Bothered by the dream, Kyrie walks through the park. She is then suddenly bathed in a golden dust, and hears the voice.
MALE VOICE:
Ky...rie! Ky...rie!
[Kyrie then walks into a fog bank, and sees her father...Captain Nathan Maxa. The two then hug, but she doesn't see his eyes glow red.]
KYRIE MAXA:
Daddy!
NATHAN MAXA:
Kyrie, I have missed you so much.
KYRIE MAXA:
Should I tell Diego that you are back?
NATHAN MAXA:
No...he mustn't know...and neither should the others.
KYRIE MAXA:
Understood.
[Suddenly, Kyrie receives a call on her communicator, and has to run off.]
I have to go...but, I will come back, father.
[Kyrie departs the park for the plaza.]
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[The Red, Pink, Black, and Blue Rangers battle Akui, who in turn blows up a couple of skyscrapers. All of the rangers use their Guardian Weapons, except for the Black Ranger, who would rather use his fists first...then his Guardian Axe.]
AKUI:
You rangers are not using your famous teamwork!
RED STAR RANGER:
We don't need the full team to use our teamwork!
[Akui then sends his cane flying around the four, causing them to spark, and flail.]
AKUI:
Why don't you call on that new power of yours?
RED STAR RANGER:
Gladly!
ALL RANGERS:
Star Ranger…Guardian Mode, Acitvate!
[The powers of the Ancient Dragon, Falcon, Snake, Tiger, and Shark Adapters are released, and the Guardian Armor forms onto the rangers' boot and glove cuffs, and then the chest. The core Star Rangers are now Guardian Rangers.
Power Up!
[The rangers recover, and use their Guardian Scepters to battle the Yomazho leader, who counters with his blobblish abilities. The Silver Ranger arrives, and blasts the villainous leader with his Star Sniper, which Akui deflects.]
AKUI:
You will have to do better than that, rangers!
[The Guardian Rangers and the Silver Ranger fire energy blasts at Akui, who then splatters into little puddles of goo, which then materialize into little miniature Akuis, then reform into one regular-sized Akui.]
YELLOW STAR RANGER:
Sorry I'm late, guys!
AKUI:
So, the yellow one showed up...it must be too soon!
[Akui retreats, and the Yellow Ranger runs off., and past Silver, who notices that something is off.]
