INT.-STONE CANYON-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Kieran shows off his own ranger encyclopedia computer program. He uploads it into the main computer (which auto-downloads into everyone’s tablet device), as DeAndre does sit-ups.]
KIERAN OLIVER:
Hey guys...look what I just completed!
BROCK CRANSTON:
A ranger encyclopedia!? Cool!
KERI SCHMIDT:
(pouring over the Zeo Section)
I didn’t know that we could do these things!
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
This is very well organized, Kieran. You did a great job!
COLIN SCOTT:
Excellent work, Kieran! Why do some of the rangers look different?
KIERAN OLIVER:
Those are their power-ups and Battlizer armors. Are you going to look at the encyclopedia on your tablet, DeAndre?
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
(uninterested)
Later. I’m going out for groceries!
KIERAN OLIVER:
Wait for me!
EXT.-STONE CANYON-RAILYARD-DAY
[The two crewmen walk near the railyard (last seen in PRSG #58 “Rumble In The Railyard”), and talk. Soon, a young boy (SHAWN) rides by on a bicycle.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Kids these days are nothing but brats.
KIERAN OLIVER:
Not usually...but that one is an exception!
EXT.-STONE CANYON-MONUMENT-DAY
[Shawn rides up to the steps of the monument, and gets off of the bike to climb up the steps. The monument is a special shrine, and he is going to pray for clear weather. Once at the top, he sees a Scallywag named STARIUS, and a platoon of Foilers.]
STARIUS:
You found the Star Jewel...excellent! Now to find the Power Stone!
[The shine of the jewel reveals the boy to the Zangyu.]
Get him!
[The boy high-tails it down the steps, and falls a bit at the bottom, scraping his knee. In pain, Shawn gets onto the bicycle to pedal away from the minions who are chasing him.]
EXT.-STONE CANYON-RAILYARD-DAY
[The two crewmen walk in the railyard, on their way back to the galleon, and see Shawn being chased by the Foilers, and rush in to help. Starius then “parts the sea” of Foilers to taunt the duo.]
STARIUS:
Run along...this does not concern you, rangers!
DeANDRE TAYLOR AND KIERAN OLIVER:
(with their morphers and keys)
It’s Morphin’ Time!
voices of HERO MORPHER AND HERO CALLER:
Hero Power!
[The Blue and Silver Hero Ranger suits form over the two, who then use their weapons against the Foilers, and defeat them with ease. Soon, the two face Starius, who blasts the two. The Blue Ranger uses his morpher and Dino Key to change up into the Blue Dino Ranger as the Silver Ranger uses his morpher and the Green Morphin Key to change up into the Green Morphin Ranger.]
BLUE DINO RANGER:
Thundermax Saber!
GREEN MORPHIN RANGER:
Dragon Dagger!
[The two rangers strike Starius in the gut with their weapons to create sparks and sending the Scallywag rolling on the ground. Starius recovers, and tries to blast again.]
BLUE DINO RANGER:
Tricerashield!
[The Blue Ranger uses the weapon to deflect the Scallywag’s blast, with the Green Ranger leaping upward to fire energy from his weapon, and a hit from the Tricerashield. Starius is sent rolling again, and drops his piece of the Star Jewel...but picks it up upon retreating in a hail of sparks to cover his getaway.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
(upon de-morphing)
Where’d he go!?
[DeAndre and Kieran see Shawn limping away while walking his bike in pain.]
KIERAN OLIVER:
(while wrapping the boy’s leg with a cloth)
Are you okay? You should go home to clean up recover.
SHAWN:
I’ll be okay. Plus...I have a promise to keep...I have to get to Mount Kurkami by nightfall!
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Let him go, Kieran. He did make a promise.
[When Shawn places his injured leg onto the pedal, he winces a bit, but is determined to go on. Kneeling, the two crewmen watch him pedal away.]
What are the Zangyu up to!?
INT.-STONE CANYON-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[After returning to the ship, Brock is at the computer doing research on what the Scallywag was up to.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
Starius has the Star Jewel. Now, they will search for the Power Stone on Mount Kurkami. When joined, it is said that the end of the world will come.
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Mount Kurkami!
KIERAN OLIVER:
Shawn!
[The two run out of the ship.]
EXT.-MOUNTAINS-MOUNT KURKAMI-DAY
[Shawn pedals up to the mountain. Meanwhile at the top, Starius finds the Power Stone.]
STARIUS:
(reporting to the Stampeder)
Your majesty! I have found the Power Stone!
voice of PRINCE KRAKEN:
Excellent, Starius! Unleash it’s power at once!
LEAD SCURVY:
(to the Foilers)
Do not let anyone near!
[Meanwhile, DeAndre runs through the trees, followed by Kieran, looking for Shawn. The others even have followed, and split up into three teams of two...DeAndre and Kieran, Colin and Nikki, and Keri and Brock.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
What do you think the Zangyu are up to, Colin?
COLIN SCOTT:
No clue.
[Elsewhere, Keri and Brock walk along a creek, where Brock slips up on some wet rocks...but Keri catches him, and pulls him back up. Suddenly, everyone is surrounded by Foilers, and use their weapons while unmorphed to battle the minions. Soon, everyone receives a call over their morphers from Navix.]
voice of NAVIX:
There is a very powerful energy coming from the top of the mountain!
[DeAndre turns around to see Shawn biking up the trail...as do some Foilers, who aim their weapons at him, stopping the boy in his tracks. Suddenly, something shoots a Foiler in the head...it’s DeAndre and Kieran, blasting in, and hitting the other three to defeat them. Meanwhile, Starius continues to absorb the energy from the Power Stone and Star Jewel.]
KIERAN OLIVER:
That monster from earlier is up there...it would be best to leave!
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Let him go on. We’ll just have to defeat Starius before dark. After all...a promise is a promise!
[Everyone continues to battle the Foilers with their weapons. Soon, Starius has absorbed enough energy from the Power Stone. Soon, Starius’ Scurvy guards go down in a hail of sparks and red energy bolts, destroying them. The six crewmen face the Scallywag, who gathers the Power Stone energy into an orb, and sends it into space, where it hits a large meteor to attraqct it to Earth.]
COLIN SCOTT:
What’d you do!?
STARIUS:
I am using the energy to attract a large meteor to collide with the Earth!
BROCK CRANSTON:
That will destroy the planet!
STARIUS:
Exactly!
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Then we’ll just have to defeat you!
ALL CREWMEN:
(with their morphers and keys)
It's Morphin' Time!
voice of HERO MORPHER AND HERO CALLER:
Hero Power!
[The suits "fully-form" over the sextet, who then utilize their weapons as Starius powers up. Down below, Shawn hears the commotion on the mountaintop, but continues on. The blast from the Scallywag makes the rangers fly. Another powerful blast envelops the rangers in explosions and purplish energy bolts. The rangers are sent rolling, but recover.]
SILVER HERO RANGER:
How about we use the Star Keys!
[The rangers summon the Star Keys, and insert them into their morphers.]
voice of HERO MORPHER AND HERO CALLER:
Star Power!
[The Blue and Silver Rangers use their cards to summon a wall of water to deflect Starius’ blast, followed by the Black and Yellow Rangers using the Rock Rush technique to send two boulders crashing into the Scallywag. The Red and Pink Rangers then leap in with their Star Weapons to attack Starius. The six rangers then use their morphers and Zeo Keys.]
voice of HERO MORPHER AND HERO CALLER:
Zeo Power!
GREEN ZEO RANGER:
Let’s do that attack that we saw in Kieran’s Encyclopedia!
[The six rangers charge at Starius, leap up, and spin rapidly into energy orbs, and charge through the Scallywag to make him cackle in blue energy bolts, and then explode into a massive fireball as the rangers come to a halt. As the rangers power down into their Hero Ranger forms, the see that Starius has survived the attack, and rolls on the ground to a smoking stop. The Scallywag recovers as the rangers summon their cutlasses (and the trident for Silver) as they prepare to execute the Hero Wave finisher. Suddenly, the twin pink beams come from the sky to make Starius enlarge.]
RED HERO RANGER:
(as he uses his morpher to summon the galleon)
He’s persistent, isn’t he!?
[Shawn sees Starius grow, which frightens him, making him fall off of the bike. Suddenly, the Hero Megazord flies in to kick Starius off of the mountain. The robot lands, and the Blue Ranger yells down to the boy.]
voice of BLUE HERO RANGER:
Don’t give up, Shawn! You made a promise, and it is up to you to keep it. Danny is waiting for you!
[The encouraging of the Blue Ranger makes Shawn get back onto the bike, and continue on. The megazord then turns to face Starius with the Tri-Legend emerging from the time portal, and the summoning of the Lion Wildzord to follow the Hero Megazord. Once the Scallywag recovers, he is now face-to-face with the Hero Megazord in Kendo Mode and the Tri-Legend Megazord.]
SHAWN:
I will keep my end of the promise. I hope Danny will too!
[The Tri-Legend uses it’s drill arm on the charging Starius as Hero Megazord uses a flamethrower move from the lion’s mouth making the Scallywag cackle in red energy bolts and explosions. The Hero Megazord then summons the Fire Striker to execute the Heroic Samurai Slash to make Starius cackle in red energy bolts, and is engulfed in flames.]
STARIUS:
You are too late, rangers. The Perseid Meteor will hit Earth within the hour!
[Starius then explodes. The megazord then look upward, and see the meteor as warning alarms ring out in the cockpits. The Hero Megazord uses it’s Power Bomber to try to destroy the meteor, but it has no effect.]
SILVER HERO RANGER:
I have an idea! DeAndre...spin me around, and launch the Tri-Legend at it!
PINK HERO RANGER:
That’s suicide, Kieran!
SILVER HERO RANGER:
Maybe...but it’s our only hope!
BLUE HERO RANGER:
Okay!
[The Hero Megazord grabs the Tri-Legend, and spins it around rapidly, and launches it at the meteor.]
EXT.-OUTER SPACE-DAY
[The Silver Ranger inserts the White Dino Key to execute the finisher.]
SILVER HERO RANGER
Legendary Electro Drill!
[The drill arm spins through the massive meteor, and the megazord comes out on the other side. The meteor is smashed to bits as everyone on the ground celebrates.]
EXT.-MOUNTAINS-MOUNT KURKAMI-NIGHT
[Later, as the sun sets, Shawn finally makes it to the top, and an awaiting friend.]
DANNY:
Shawn! You made it!
SHAWN:
Told you I would!
[The two reunite as the sun goes down. In the dark, the six crewmen arrive to find the two boys laying on the ground, and watching the Perseid Meteor Shower.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Kids aren’t so bad after all!
[Everyone continues to watch the meteor shower.]
