INT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Kieran is standing in front of two display boards, facing the others, who are watching him.]
KIERAN OLIVER:
(as clips from the powers play)
So far, from the thirty-four ranger power groups, we have received twenty-two...the Mystic, SPD, Wild Force, Kendo, Turbo, Galaxy, Lightspeed, Time Force, Morphin, Dino, Star, Nitro Defender, Overdrive, Chi, Auto, Bio, Nuclear, Fusion, Electro, Royal, and Agent powers.
[Soon; Colin, DeAndre, and Keri quietly depart the ship leaving Brock and Nikki along with Kieran.]
Hey! Where’d everyone go!?
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Shireikan enters the room to report to Kraken.]
SHIREIKAN:
Sire...the new Scallywags have arrived.
PRINCE KRAKEN:
Excellent! Where are they?
SANBO:
They are ninjas from space that were found near the Abyss of Evil. They once worked for Lothor. Now, they have been trained, and officially are Zangyu elite fighters.
[Vexacus drops in upside-down, then moves rapidly to right himself to meet Kraken, and spooks him before introductions.]
VEXACUS:
How do you do? I am Vexacus!
[Under Kyatsu, a cloaked Shimazu appears, and reveals himself to introduce himself.]
SHIMAZU:
And I am Shimazu.
[Kyatsu falls, and is caught by Shimazu.]
Hello, toots! How about we get married after this assignment?
[Kyatsu gets Shimazu onto the ground, and roughs him up a bit.]
KYATSU:
I wouldn’t even give you the time of day!
PRINCE KRAKEN:
What kind of a plan do you two have?
SHIMAZU:
Just you wait and see!
VEXACUS:
It’s gonna be a blast!
[The two then take their leave.]
EXT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-CITY-DAY
[A delivery truck driver is in his truck taking a lunch break and listening to the radio. “Pirate Song” by Alestorm is playing. Soon, Shimazu interrupts the broadcast.]
SHIMAZU:
Now it is time for some fun!
[The truck driver looks around, then is surprised as Shimazu appears through the vents. The very surprised driver turns into a large acorn-like nut. Shimazu opens the passenger-side door to the truck to collect the nut, and puts it into a large red sack while laughing.]
INT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-HOUSE-BEDROOM-DAY
[A boy sits at a desk, pouring over his homework.]
BOY:
I hate having to do homework!
[The boy opens his top drawer only to see Shimazu, who scares him, and turns into a nut, dropping onto the floor.]
SHIMAZU:
(laughing)
All work and no play makes you a dull boy!
INT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-OFFICE BUILDING-DAY
[Five office workers go about their normal routines. Soon, all five transform into nuts.]
EXT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-BEACH-DAY
[Near a tent, a woman reads a script. Her face is hidden behind it’s pages.]
WOMAN:
Miss...they’re ready for you.
[The woman puts the script down...it’s Tori Hanson, the former Blue Wind Ranger. Upon standing, she senses trouble.]
EXT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-MOTOCROSS TRACK-DAY
[A motocross rider circles a dirt track. The rider senses trouble as well, and looks upward for a bit, then comes to a stop, and takes off his helmet. The rider takes off his helmet...it’s Dustin Brooks, the former Yellow Wind Ranger.]
EXT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-SKATE PARK-DAY
[A man in red is putting on a clinic to teach youngsters how to ride a skateboard. He then senses the trouble too, and tells his assistant to take over the class. The man is Shane Clarke, the former Red Wind Ranger.]
EXT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-PLAZA-DAY
[Colin, DeAndre, and Keri walk down some steps while eating ice cream cones.]
COLIN SCOTT:
Kieran is taking this way too seriously.
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
He’s going a bit overboard.
KERI SCHMIDT:
Tell me about it!
[The three witness a dozen citizens walk into the plaza, then tun into nuts. Keri picks up one as Shimazu arrives to collect the nuts.]
SHIMAZU:
Hello, kiddies! Shimazu here!
COLIN SCOTT:
Just what are you up to!?
[Shimazu then enlarges his head to steal the trio’s ice cream cones.]
SHIMAZU:
My plan is to turn citizens into these giant nuts, and grind them down into fuel for a large missile!
COLIN SCOTT:
Not on our watch!
ALL THREE:
(utilizing their morphers and keys)
It’s Morphin’ Time!
[The three turn their keys, and the Hero Ranger suits “fully-form” over the trio. The three rangers use their cutlasses and muskets on Shimazu to cause sparks...but the clown uses the sparks to vanish, then re-appears on a rock feature, then dives into the trio. The rangers use their weapons to fight Shimazu and his space ninja skills. Suddenly, Vexacus streaks in to overpower the three. Upon recovering, the rangers charge in...as do the two space ninjas.]
YELLOW HERO RANGER:
There’s two of them!
[Vexacus powers up his sword, and attacks the Blue and Yellow Rangers as the Red Ranger continues to battle Shimazu...who does his vanishing act routine to attack the ranger. The three rangers regroup, and use their morphers and keys to change up.]
voice of HERO MORPHERS:
Beast Power!
[The three rangers leap in to kick, then the Red Ranger uses his sword. The two Scallywags vanish, then re-appear. Shimazu tries to stab the rangers with his staff.]
VEXACUS:
Vex Hex!
[The attack from Vexacus strikes the rangers, who roll. The rangers recover, and use their morphers and keys to change up again.]
voice of HERO MORPHERS:
Dino Power!
[The rangers then summon their secondary weapons to form their combined cannon.]
ALL RANGERS:
Z-Rex Blaster! Z-Rex Blast!
[The two Scallywags cross their weapons to produce a beam to counter the Z-Rex Blast. The rangers go down, but the two take their leave. The other three crewmen arrive, and help the three rangers back to the ship. Soon, the three Wind Ninja Academy instructors arrive.]
SHANE CLARKE:
So...Vexacus and Shimazu are back.
DUSTIN BROOKS:
So, do you think the Hero Rangers can defeat them?
TORI HANSON:
Not without our great power.
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Kraken is very pleased that the plan is working.]
INT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-WAREHOUSE-DAY
[Vexacus and Shimazu discuss their plan to use the missile, which will be ready once the nuts are roasted, to turn everyone into nuts. The missile and it’s launcher are then revealed.]
INT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[The team tries to figure out what the Zangyu are up to, and where the two space ninjas are building their missile.]
KIERAN OLIVER:
(as he insta-morphs into the Mercury Overdrive Ranger)
I got a plan! Drive Detector!
[The Mercury Ranger uses the weapon to scan the nut in Keri’s hand. Soon, the crewmen are hot on the trail.]
INT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-WAREHOUSE-DAY
[The six rangers break into the building, surprising the two space ninjas\Scallywags. Shimazu then snaps his fingers to set off a small explosion as the ranger charge into battle with their weapons. The two then charge in with their weapons to counter the rangers. After flipping the Silver Ranger into a wall, the space ninjas join their weapons to produce blue and red energy bolts to fry the rangers.]
SHIMAZU:
This will shock you!
[The rangers fly through the flames to attack the two ninjas. The Silver Ranger then rescues the roasting nuts and the red bag of nuts as the battle moves outside.]
EXT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-WAREHOUSE-DAY
[The rangers blast the two space ninjas, but Shimazu uses a technique to switch positions with the Green and Pink Rangers, who then fall victim to “friendly fire” as the two take back the bag of nuts. Shimazu then uses his tricks to pester the Silver Ranger, then flings him into the plaza.]
EXT.-BLUE BAY HARBOR-PLAZA-DAY
[The battle moves into the plaza.]
SILVER HERO RANGER:
These guys are tough!
SHIMAZU:
You haven’t seen anything yet!
[Shimazu uses his powers to open a vortex to suck in the six rangers. With no time to spare, the Red, Blue, and Yellow Rangers push the Green, Pink, and Silver Rangers out of the vortex before getting sucked in all the way.]
Oh well...three out of six ain’t bad! Kelzaks!
[Shimazu then disappears as the rangers are forced to battle an unknown group of minions.]
GREEN HERO RANGER:
What are those!?
SILVER HERO RANGER:
(preparing his trident)
Our next target!
[Suddenly, Vexacus makes himself enlarge.]
PINK HERO RANGER:
Kieran! Call the Tri-Legend Megazord!
[The Tri-Legend appears, and immediately forms it’s Megazord Mode to battle Vexacus, sword-to-drill arm, causing sparks. On the ground, the two remaining core rangers have problems fighting the Kelzaks. Vexacus uses his sword on the megazord to cause more sparks and smoke on the inside and out of the robot.]
SILVER HERO RANGER:
The Tri-Legend can’t take much more of this!
[Just when all hope seems lost for the megazord, shurikens fly in to interrupt the battle. The sky darkens as another robot flies in on a larger shuriken.]
MINIZORD:
I am Minizord!
SILVER HERO RANGER:
Sweet!
[Everyone on the ground notices.]
SHANE CLARKE:
(as he and the other two arrive in the area)
Minizord!?
TORI HANSON:
He must have sensed the trouble too!
[Minizord attacks Vexacus, then uses his shurikens to stick the space ninja to a building.]
MINIZORD:
Now, Silver Ranger!
SILVER HERO RANGER:
Right!
[The Silver Ranger sets all three of his zord keys.]
Triple Legend Strike!
[Vexacus cackles in red energy bolts before exploding. The Silver Ranger celebrates a bit in his cockpit as the Minizords departs without a word. Meanwhile, the other two rangers continue to battle the Kelzaks when the Wind Ninjas arrive, and battles the Kelzaks with their katanas. All the Kelzaks are soon defeated, and the Wind Ninjas confront the Green and Pink Rangers, who de-morph.]
BROCK CRANSTON AND NIKKI BUCHANAN:
(as their suits vanish)
Power Down!
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Thank you.
[Kieran then runs in to join the other two.]
SHANE CLARKE:
Shane Clarke...Air Ninja!
TORI HANSON:
Tori Hanson...Water Ninja!
DUSTIN BROOKS:
Dustin Brooks...Earth Ninja! Your friends are in trouble.
TORI HANSON:
We can help.
SHANE CLARKE:
Just hand over our Power Keys!
[The three crewmen have a look of concern over their faces...they do not want to lose the three Power Keys to the Wind Ninjas, and do not know what to do.]
SHIMAZU’S DIMENSION
[The three trapped crewmen wake up in darkness, and recover to their feet.]
KERI SCHMIDT:
Where are we!?
[The three look confused as they try to adjust to their surroundings. TO BE CONTINUED...]

NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: THE NEXT GENERATION...
Episode #36. “Stormed (2)"
Colin, Keri and DeAndre are transported into Shimazu's Dimension, and Shane, Tori, and Dustin must break into the dimension to rescue them, while Colin falls into the worst situation.
