INT.-SACRED GROUND-DAY
[The team marvels over additional Paleo Chargers created by Maria.]
MARIA ARMSTRONG:
You all have extra Paleo Chargers to use. I also created two additional Paleo Chargers...the Victory and Maximum. You can use these for...
[Maria is interrupted by Chikyu sensing trouble.]
CHIKYU:
Rangers...trouble at the stadium.
[The six main team members all rush out of the base.]
EXT.-CITY-STADIUM-DAY
[At the stadium, a track meet is interrupted by a DavroMon. The runners flee out of the stadium in fear as the DavroMon, BAD SPORT taunts.]
BAD SPORT:
And you wimps call yourselves “athletes!?”
[The six rangers arrive already morphed, and face Aigar and D’Gol.]
D’GOL:
Hello, rangers!
RED PALEO RANGER:
D’Gol! What are you up to!?
BAD SPORT:
I am Bad Sport...and I’ll whip all of you spoil-sports into shape! MaZoDe!
[A platoon of minions materialize, face the rangers. Soon, four of the MaZoDe step forward, line up.]
These are my recruits. I have trained them with the competitive spirit!
[The four minions spin around to make basketball jerseys appear on them.]
Attack!
[Bad Sport and the four MaZoDe charge the rangers, and easily overpower them. The minions then use basketballs to attack the rangers, with a final shot by Bad Sport to make the ball explode in the middle of the circle of rangers.]
voice of MARIA ARMSTRONG:
(with the Red Ranger answering his Buckle-Comm)
Daric! Use the Victory Paleo Charger. It will combine your powers!
[Daric prematurely hangs up on Maria. The core five rangers get into formation, and put their hands together. The Red Ranger tries to activate the battery, but noting happens.]
BAD SPORT:
Going for three!
[Bad Sport attacks as the Black Ranger goes for a Futabasaurus Paleo Charger, and inserts it into his blaster to fire it.]
BLACK PALEO RANGER
We need more team members!
[The effect of the battery clones the six rangers, and all twelve charge at the enemy, melee-style. The real rangers soon break free with the ball as the clones vanish.]
BAD SPORT:
(angry)
No fair! You have too many players on the field!
RED PALEO RANGER:
Okay...I challenge you to a fair, five-on-five basketball game!
BAD SPORT:
Challenge accepted!
AIGAR:
What? Seriously!?
D’GOL:
You’re on, rangers! We’ll meet at the gym in the morning!
[The enemies vanish.]
BLUE PALEO RANGER:
Are you sure about this, Daric?
RED PALEO RANGER:
Positive. We can’t lose!
[The others accept Daric’s reasoning.]
Why didn’t the Victory battery work?
INT.-ANTARCTICA-FROZEN CASTLE-DAY
[A psychotic Aigar pins D’Gol to the wall to berate him.]
AIGAR:
Why did you accept the ranger’s challenge!?
CANDELIRA:
Oh, Aigar! You’re frightening me!
LUKURO:
Yeah!
[The statements from Candelira snap Aigar out of it.]
INT.-CITY-PARK-GYMNASIUM-DAY
[Later that day, the team, dressed in red jerseys practices, with Daric showing some plays on a white dry-erase board. Ken, portrays a team manager, arrives with various items. The core five team members begin their practice.]
EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[As the rangers practice at a gym, the MaZoDe and Bad Sport train as well.]
INT.-CITY-PARK-GYMNASIUM-DAY
[The team continues to practice...but need help with some moves on defense. The five figure out that something is missing, and start tiring out.]
MIKO INOUE:
Let’s take a break!
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
Good idea.
[Ken feeds his teammates, one of them tosses the ball into the hoop for a basket, and Daric sees it.]
DARIC KAYSON:
That’s it! We need to mix-up our strategy!
[Daric switches everyone’s position on the court, and the five continue their practice. The switch-up seems to work well.]
EXT.-CITY-NIGHT
[The sadness from the injured athletes across the city fills the air, and satisfies Aigar.]
INT.-SACRED GROUND-NIGHT
[Maria reads about the sad athletes on her laptop computer.]
MARIA ARMSTRONG:
Well, that explains Aigar’s part...but what about D’Gol?
CHIKYU:
What about the Futabasaurus Paleo Charger...and how it acted?
MARIA ARMSTRONG:
It’s amber stone was located in Greece...that may have something to do with competition.
INT.-CITY-PARK-GYMNASIUM-DAY
[The next morning, both sides arrive at the gym, ready to play some basketball...but Bad Sport plays dirty.]
BAD SPORT:
I know that you five have been practicing hard with basketball...but I’m switching the sport to indoor soccer!
DARIC KAYSON:
What!? What happened to your pride of sportsmanship?
BAD SPORT:
Oh well...I am a DavroMon, after all.
[The MaZoDe change uniforms. On the court, an enraged Ken unsheaths his Ptera Baton, and charges at two Cambeasts, and swordfights them. Bad Sport then kicks an explosive ball at the core five, and it explodes in front of them.]
INT.-SACRED GROUND-DAY
[Maria does some research. on her computer.]
MARIA ARMSTRONG:
It appears that the trophy has the fossil of the Futabasaurus. Bad Sport’s challenge is a diversion!
INT.-GREECE-SPORTS FEDERATION OFFICE-DAY
[Someone subdues two guards, and enters an office.]
D’GOL:
Save yourself the trouble, and hand over that trophy!
INT.-CITY-PARK-GYMNASIUM-DAY
[Both sides continue their battle.]
BAD SPORT:
Right now, D’Gol is in Greece, stealing an amber stone...too bad you idiots are pre-occupied!
KEN FERRADAY:
(as the core five struggle to recover to their feet)
So that’s the plan!
[Daric laughs at Bad Sport, as he decides that they will play basketball anyway.]
INT.-GREECE-SPORTS FEDERATION OFFICE-DAY
[The man and D’Gol fight for the trophy. As D’Gol raises his sword, Chikyu blocks it with hers. The Purple Ranger grabs the trophy, and helps the office workers evacuate the building.]
INT.-CITY-PARK-GYMNASIUM-DAY
[Both sides play a unique mash-up game of basketball-soccer, and are succeeding, overpowering the MaZoDe players, and then Bad Sport. Ken hurries to a bag, and grabs the five Paleo Blasters, and tosses them to the others.]
KEN FERRADAY:
Guys! Catch!
ALL:
Let’s Rock!
[The dino auras fly out of the morphers to attack the enemy, then the ranger suits flash-form over the six, and force the battle outside.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-GYMNASIUM-DAY
[The battle moves outside as the six leap in. The Purple Ranger arrives.]
PURPLE PALEO RANGER:
Daric...Chikyu is fighting D’Gol in Greece!
RED PALEO RANGER:
(as the seven rangers line up)
Then let’s finish this up!
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
(while loading his weapon, activating it)
Let’s level the playing field...Lightning Rod!
[The attack wipes out some MaZoDe.]
PURPLE PALEO RANGER:
Brave Finish!
[The attack destroys the two Cambeasts. The Red Ranger then grabs Mini-Ty, and transforms it into the CarniBlaster. He closes the mouth of the device to activate his Battlizer.]
RED PALEO RANGER:
Battle Up!
[The armor forms onto the Red Ranger suit.]
RED CARNIVORE RANGER:
(as he activates the Victory Paleo Charger)
It’s time for a victory!
[The Red Ranger inserts the battery into the CarniBlaster as all five combine their powers.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Penta Victory Finish!
[The combined attack defeats Bad Sport, and the rangers celebrate...until the DavroMon, both Cambeasts, and four baseball-jersey wearing MaZoDe revive and enlarge.]
BAD SPORT:
It’s the bottom of the ninth inning, and we’re up!
[The rangers have summoned their zords...first up is the Ptera Megazord-Blade Mode, as the MaZoDe launch baseballs at the robot.]
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
Ptera Blade Finish!
[The finisher takes out all four MaZoDe.]
Strike One!
[Stepping up are the two Cambeasts with their clubbed weapons as bats.]
PURPLE PALEO RANGER:
Plesio Battlezord...Defender Mode!
[Before too long, the two Cambeasts are destroyed.]
Strike Two!
BAD SPORT:
Hey, batter, batter!
[Bad Sport steps in to pitch, and the Paleo Megazord comes in with a bat. The DavroMon throws a heater of a fastball, and includes various pieces of sports equipment at the megazord.]
RED PALEO RANGER:
Swing, batter!
[The megazord swings it’s bat to deflect the sports equipment at Bad Sport to knock him down. The Paleo Megazord-Battle Slam Mode is quickly formed.]
ALL RANGERS:
Exploding Storm!
[The megazord releases the Davros Destruction Program to freeze the DavroMon in place.]
Exploding Brave Finish!
[The finisher makes Bad Sport explode, destroying him. The seven rangers pose victoriously in front of their Paleozords.]
INT.-SACRED GROUND-DAY
[Daric inspects the amber stone containing the fossil of the Futabasaurus.]
DARIC KAYSON:
Add one more to the collection...
TYSON KIRKLAND:
...Yup...two more left!
