[Various people about the city begin to disappear down manholes.]
INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[In the morning, the seven team members and the three employees prepare to open the dojo. There is kitchen preparation being completed, as well as some cleaning. The television by the juice bar is on with the local morning news. When the case of the missing citizens catches their eye, they pay attention to the screen.]
voice of ANCHOR #1:
Our top story...several citizens are mysteriously missing. We now go live to City Hall where the Police Chief, Jerome Stone is about to give us a briefing.
EXT.-CITY-CITY HALL-FRONT STEPS-DAY
[The city's police chief, who is a very familiar face...Jerome Stone takes to the podium to address a throng of media personnel.]
CHIEF JEROME STONE:
Thank you, everyone. The Angel Grove Police Department is investigating these cases of missing citizens. I assure you...we are doing everything possible to find them. No questions right now, please...thank you.
[As Chief Stone leaves the podium, various reporters clamor around the podium trying to ask the chief questions.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[Metalia is pleased that her Machine Beast is doing his job well.]
METALIA:
Sewermane is doing well. Mudoji! Go supervise Sewermane's progress.
MUDOJI:
Yes, my princess!
[Mudoji departs the palace.]
INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[Chief Stone walks into the dojo, and asks for Matt. Trevor directs the chief over to Matt, who is talking to Adam.]
CHIEF JEROME STONE:
Hi, guys!
ADAM PARK:
Chief! What can I do for you?
CHIEF JEROME STONE:
Well, I need to talk to my former detective a bit.
ADAM PARK:
Okay. It was nice seeing you again...take it easy out there.
[Adam departs the immediate area to let the chief and Matt talk privately.]
CHIEF JEROME STONE:
Matt...I know that you resigned, but I need your help. It's about the missing citizens.
[Matt hesitates for a bit.]
Matt...I know.
MATT SANDOVAL:
Know what?
CHIEF JEROME STONE:
I know that you and the others, especially Adam are...Power Rangers.
MATT SANDOVAL:
Okay. The citizens are probably some part of a Machine Empire scheme.
[Adam and the others approach Matt and the chief.]
ADAM PARK:
And we'll help too.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Later in the day, Mudoji and Sewermane attack the city. Soon, the seven team members arrive, and confront the monster.]
RYDER SWANSON:
Aw, man! What reeks!
MUDOJI:
The rangers!
[Mudoji and Sewermane face the seven.]
Gearbots! Gearoids!
[Instantly, several Gearbots and Gearoids materiaize, and the seven team members battle them while un-morphed.]
Sewermane...go prepare the next phase!
[Sewermane takes his leave.]
RYDER SWANSON:
We need to morph!
ALL:
(while preparing their morphers)
Start Up!
[The suits "fully-form" over the seven team members.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Screech Of The Condor! Red Nitro Ranger!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Roar Of The Lion! Blue Nitro Ranger!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
Growl Of The Bear! Yellow Nitro Ranger!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
Call Of The Orca! Green Defender Ranger!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
Bark Of The Canine! Black Defender Ranger!
GOLD SKY RANGER:
Flight Of The Falcon! Gold Sky Ranger!

[After battling for a few more minutes, the rangers defeat the minions, and turn their attention to Mudoji.]
NITRO RANGERS AND DEFENDER RANGERS:
(as they press the "G" symbol on their belt buckles)
Nitro Gear!
ALL RANGERS:
Nitro Defender Cannon! Booster Mode!
GOLD SKY RANGER:
Inserting Cell! Fire!
[The energy fired from the weapon has no effect.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Moto Battlizer, Start Up!
[The battlizer armor pieces form over the Red Ranger.]
RED MOTOR RANGER:
Flight Of Power, Red Motor Ranger, Burning Up!
[A red plume of smoke errupts from behind the Red Ranger, then a fireball errupts behind him.]
You're going down!
[The Red Ranger flies upward, then uses all three attacks to destroy Mudoji...e cackles with red energy, then dissolves. His mud puddle then evaporates.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Chief Stone and Matt meet to go over a plan.]
MATT SANDOVAL:
We still do not know where they are holding the citizens. I'm gonna voluntarily get captured.
CHIEF JEROME STONE:
Matt...I have a very bad feeling about this...but this is probably the only way possible.
INT.-CITY-INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT-WAREHOUSE-DAY
[Matt walks into an abandoned warehouse, and is immediately surrounded by four Gearoids.]
MATT SANDOVAL:
Look...I'll be peaceful...and cooperate.
[Matt then goes to sit next to some frightened citizens, including a young girl. He tries to come up with a plan to rescue them.]
INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[Chief Stone enters the dojo, and goes to Adam.]
CHIEF JEROME STONE:
Adam...Matt decided to intentionally get captured.
ADAM PARK:
Let's go, guys!
INT.-CITY-INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT-WAREHOUSE-DAY
[The two Sky Rangers arrive and battle the Gearoids and Sewermane as Matt frees the citizens. Soon, the Nitro Rangers and the Green Ranger arrive, and help battle Sewermane.]
NITRO RANGERS:
(as they press the "G" button on their belt buckles.)
Nitro Gear!
[The three form the Nitro Buster.]
MATT SANDOVAL:
(once he sees the citizens to safety)
Good...they're all safe!
[Matt prepares his Defender Shifter.]
Start Up!
[The suit "flash-forms" over Matt.]
Bark Of The Canine! Black Defender Ranger!
[The Black Ranger calls for his Canine Taser, and joins the other rangers.]
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
Let's put them together!
NITRO RANGERS AND DEFENDER RANGERS:
Nitro Defender Cannon!
SKY RANGERS:
Sky Blasters!
ALL RANGERS:
Fire!
[Sewermane collapses, and activates his Industrial Revolution, and grows. Within seconds, the nine giant zords arrive.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Let's go, guys!
[The seven rangers board the zords, and install their morphers to activate the cockpits. The rangers then put the zords into gear.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Nitro Condorzord...go!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Nitro Lionzord...go!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
Nitro Bearzord...go!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
Defender Orcazord...go!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
Defender Caninezord...go!
DEFENDER RANGERS:
Defender Gatorzord...go!
GOLD SKY RANGER:
Sky Falconzord...go!
SILVER SKY RANGER:

[The nine zords combine to form the massive nine-piece megazord.]

Impressive! But not good enough! Sewer Chucker!
[Sewermane attacks the megazord by shooting heavy manhole covers at it, causing the megazord to flail and spark.]
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
Canine Blaster!
[The blast of energy from Canine deflects the manhole covers.]
ALL RANGERS:
Ultra Grand Prix!
[The VehAni fire their energy at the monster to make him cackle in blue energy bolts. Sewermane then collapses and explodes. The rangers then celebrate in the cockpit.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-NIGHT
[Metalia is furious that her Machine Beast failed.]
METALIA:
Oh, those rangers make me so mad!
YOGO:
(entering the chamber)
They make me mad too, Metalia...thats why I came back...with, a plan! Those seven rangers will be annihilated!
INT.-CITY-DOJO-NIGHT
[The seven team members help the three employees close up for the night. It is now apparent that the three employees suspect something is going on with their employers.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-NIGHT
[As Alpha prepares to recharge for the night, he and Zordon receive a communication from Machia...it's G.T.]
voice of G.T.
Zordon...Alpha...I fear that Princess Maki is on her way to exact revenge on Ryder. Pit and I are on our way as well.
ZORDON:
We await your arrival, G.T. Have a safe journey.
