EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[On a bright, sunny morning, Heath is alone, hiking through the quiet and peaceful forest. He pauses for a bit to take a drink of water from his canteen, then continues on.]
HEATH REGAN:
What a beautiful day!
INT.-OUTER SPACE-HIVE SHIP-COMMAND ROOM-DAY
[The three villains spy on Heath, and see that he is all alone.]
COMETOSIS:
The Red Ranger is all alone!
MOTHROS:
I suggest we take him out!
METROIX:
I want to take care of him...personally!
MOTHROS:
I want to capture him...go to get the Red Ranger with a platoon of Caprisects!
METROIX:
My pleasure!
[Metroix departs the ship with a platoon of minions.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Heath continues on with his hike for a little bit, until he comes up to a area of bushes, and hears some rustling.]
HEATH REGAN:
Who's there, come out and show yourself!
[Suddenly, several Caprisects reveal themselves, and converge on Heath.]
Not good!
[Heath reaches for his service sidearm (Space Command Pistol) to help defend himself...until a Caprisect kicks it out of his hand.]
Okay...Plan "B!"
[Heath battles the Caprisects in hand-to-hand combat for a bit, until a couple Caprisects grab to capture him.]
Plan "C."
[Heath puts up little resistance is the Caprisects lead him away from the area.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-HIVE SHIP-COMMAND ROOM-DAY
[The two remaining generals celebrate the capture of the Red Ranger.]
COMETOSIS:
Yes! The Red Ranger has been captured!
MOTHROS:
Excellent!
COMETOSIS:
I hope that Metroix can hold him!
MOTHROS:
Yes. I hope so too...for his sake!
[The two generals continue to watch in excitement.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Heath is led to another part of the forest. The Caprisects sit Heath onto a fallen log, and keep guard.]
HEATH REGAN:
I wonder what they are up to!?
[The captured ranger begins to formulate an escape plan, and loosen his rope restraints. Metroix then appears.]
METROIX:
(laughing as he taunts)
I got you now, Red Ranger...you're mine! And soon, you will join our ranks as a member of the Alliance.
[Metroix then vanishes from the area. Heath then sees his opportunity to free himself.]
HEATH REGAN:
Join the Alliance? Yeah right!
[Heath starts to use a Swiss Army knife, hidden in his sleeve to cut through the ropes. Once free, he grabs a rock, and tosses it into a bush to distract his Caprisect guards, who go to investigate. Heath runs off, but soon has the minions after him. Heath then touches his Space Command badge to call the base.]
HEATH REGAN:
Regan to base...little time to talk...need help in the forest! Regan out! I hope that got through to them. Now...I got to stop them in their tracks!
[Heath goes to set up booby-traps using vines, branches, leaves, and etc. He then stands in a clearing with all of the traps around him. He then shouts to lure in his pursuers.]
Hey! Come and get me! I'm to tired to run anymore!
[The Caprisects move in towards Heath. One minion stumbles on some trip-vines to set off a trap that catches three in a net. A few more step into snares, to where they hang upside-down from branches...one Caprisect even steps into just after Metroix appears.]
METROIX:
Red Ranger! You shall pay for your insolence!
HEATH REGAN:
No...you are the one who's gonna pay! Star Morpher!
[Heath opens the slot on the morpher as the picture appear on his Morph Card.]
Insert Card!
[Heath inserts his Morph Card, and shuts the morpher. He hold the device over his head with his extended left arm to the sky.]
Activate!
[Heath's body glows in red as the s forms (except the helmet). Angel wings for the chest symbol, and the dragon Guardian Spirit forms the helmets.]
RED STAR RANGER:
You're going down, Metroix!
METROIX:
Bring it on, Red Ranger!
RED STAR RANGER:
Gladly!
[The Red Ranger opens his morpher, and opens his belt buckle to retrieve a Star Card.]
Insert Card! I Summon The Guardian Sword!
[The sword materializes in front of the Red Ranger, who then grabs it to battle Metroix. The two battle sword-to-scythes.]
INT.-MOUNTIANS-OPSCOMM-DAY
[The other team members meet at the briefing table to discuss Heath's distress call as McKenna tries to pin down his location.]
McKENNA COHEN:
(muttering to herself at a computer station)
Good! He's morphed! Guys! He's on the edge of the forest near the park.
[The four remaining officers depart the base.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[The Red Ranger and Metroix continue to battle.]
METROIX:
Meteor Blast!
[Metroix raises his forearms and sends a plasma blast toward the Red Ranger, who rolls out of it's way.]
RED STAR RANGER:
(as he places a card onto his sword)
Red Dragon Blast!
[The blast hits Metroix just as the other rangers arrive. The Red Ranger joins them.]
RED STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Stormy Sky! Red Star Ranger!
BLACK STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Rocky Land! Black Star Ranger!
BLUE STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Surging Sea! Blue Star Ranger!
PINK STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Breathtaking Sky! Pink Star Ranger!
YELLOW STAR RANGER:
(posing)
Guardian Of The Fertile Land! Yellow Star Ranger!
ALL RANGERS:
(posing)
Protectors Of Earth! Power Rangers: Star Guardians!
[Explosions errupt behind the five rangers.]
METROIX:
Caprisects!
ALL RANGERS:
Insert Card! Power Of The Guardians!
[The five default Guardian Adapters fly through the Star Morphers, and the five rangers take hold of them. The rangers then un-holster their Star Pistols, and install their Adapters onto the weapons.]
Install!
[The five rangers all ready their primary sidearms, and go into battle against the Caprisects. The rangers all perform acrobatic maneuvers, and begin to blast the minions one-by-one.]
BLUE STAR RANGER:
(as he takes out some Caprisects)
Shark Blast!
BLACK STAR RANGER:
(as he takes out some Caprisects)
Snake Blast!
YELLOW STAR RANGER:
(as she takes out some Caprisects)
Tiger Blast!
PINK STAR RANGER:
(as she takes out some Caprisects)
Falcon Blast!
[The Red Ranger somersaults off of a tree branch and aims his Star Pistol at several minions.]
RED STAR RANGER:
(as he fires multiple blasts)
Dragon Blast!
[The colored laser blasts and explosions destroy the Caprisects.]
RED STAR RANGER:
Form the cannon!
[The rangers piece together the Guardian Sword and Guardian Blaster followed by the Guardian Spear with the Guardian Axe and Guardian Claw on either side. Then, the Red, Pink, Black, Yellow, and Blue Rangers then place cards (which grow into proportion) onto their weapons.]
ALL RANGERS:
Guardian Cannon! Star Blast!
[Three separate symbols are sent towards Metroix, with the symbols merging before the villain is hit, and weakened. Suddenly, a group of Cyclobats appear, and inject their growth poison into Metroix to make him grow. The rangers quickly form the megazord.]
Starzords, Guardian Unity! Star Megazord, On Guard!
[The megazord and Metroix stand ready to battle.]
BLACK STAR RANGER AND YELLOW STAR RANGER:
Guardian Power Kick!
[The giant Guardian Adapters of the Snake and Tiger Starzords are flung off of the robot, and sent to attack Metroix before returning.]
RED STAR RANGER:
Dragon Star Blade!
ALL RANGERS:
(as the sword flames up)
Star Slash!
[Metroix cackles in orange lightning bolts.]
METROIX:
You won this round, rangers...but I will have my revenge!
[Metroix vanishes as the five rangers celebrate in the cockpit.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-HIVE SHIP-COMMAND ROOM-DAY
[Mothros is upset as Metroix is livid at his loss to the rangers.]
MOTHROS:
Don't worry, Metroix...you will have your revenge!
METROIX:
And next time, the Red Ranger won't be as lucky!
COMETOSIS:
And neither will be the other rangers!
[The three prepare for the next battle.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[As the sun prepares to set, the five officers relax.]
AQUIOS:
Well, we'll let you continue your leave, Heath. Good luck.
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
We'll tell the Admiral what happened out here.
[The four other officers depart the forest for the comforts of the base, leaving Heath to experience the great outdoors. A little bit later, night has fallen, and Heath has set up his camp, complete with a roaring campfire. He then secures the campfire, and goes into his tent to go to sleep, turning off his lantern.]
HEATH REGAN:
It has been a long day!
