[The team is going through their daily briefing when the Admiral tells everyone about something going on.]
GABE CRENSHAW:
Now...I have been receiving reports that smart school children are coming down with mysterious illnesses...much like the flu.
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
That's awful, father!
GABE CRENSHAW:
Furthermore...some of the ill kids are now missing.
HEATH REGAN:
We need to figure out what to do!
[The team tries to come up with some plans.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-HIVE SHIP-COMMAND ROOM-DAY
[Cometosis gives Mothros and Metroix an update on his plot.]
COMETOSIS:
Mothros...Metroix...my plan is working! The Swarm Alien that I have deployed on Earth is making smart children sick, and turning them into new Caprisects.
MOTHROS:
Excellent! Proceed with your plan.
COMETOSIS:
There is one little problem.
MOTHROS:
What problem?
COMETOSIS:
An Earthling is formulating or has formulated an antidote. She will be dealt with!
MOTHROS:
See that she is. We cannot afford any distractions!
[Cometosis departs the Command Room to proceed with his plan.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Diego and Aquios are patrolling a shopping district when they hear a woman scream.]
AQUIOS:
Come on, Diego! She needs our help!
DIEGO MAXA:
I'm coming!
[Under a overpass, the woman dodges "spark blasts" from the Swarm Alien, Sicko...a green cricket-like monster.]
SICKO:
I know you have the antidote, Doctor Billington!
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
I don't know what you're talking about!
SICKO:
The antidote, Doctor...NOW!
BLUE STAR RANGER:
(as he rushes in to save Susan)
She doesn't have to give you anything, freak!
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
(losing conscious)
A Power Ranger!
SICKO:
(somewhat mockingly)
A Power Ranger!
BLUE STAR RANGER:
Yeah! Guardian Spear...fire!
[Sicko quickly closes a protective covering over his mouth to block the shot. The Swarm Alien then charges at the Blue Ranger, who fires more blasts from his weapon.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
Guardian Axe!
[The Black Ranger uses his weapon to blast Sicko with black energy beams.]
Black Snake Bite!
[The Black Ranger charges and leaps to strike Sicko with the blade of the axe. The Swarm Alien rolls, and recovers in time to send two fireball blasts at the Blue and Black Rangers. The Black Ranger deflects one blast, and the Blue Ranger dodges the other. As the two rangers battle the monster, Doctor Billington comes to. After a final blast, Sicko retreats, and Susan recovers to her feet.]
BLUE STAR RANGER:
(going to check on the doctor)
Hey, are you okay!?
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
Yes...I think I am!
BLACK STAR RANGER AND BLUE STAR RANGER:
Power Down!
[The two rangers de-morph, to reassure the doctor that she is okay.]
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
You two must be after the antidote as well.
AQUIOS:
Sort of...we want to help the children.
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
Come with me to my office.
[The two officers follow the doctor. Meanwhile, more reports of ill and\or missing children continue to grow as Sicko is on a rooftop of a skyscraper, sneezing his germs onto the city.]
INT.-CITY-BILLINGTON LABS-DAY
[Diego and Aquios follow the doctor in a hallway, as they walk toward her office.]
AQUIOS:
Doctor...
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
Doctor Billington...Susan Billington.
AQUIOS:
Doctor Billington...I am Officer Aquios, and this is Officer Maxa of Space Command...I'm afraid that the kids do not have much time.
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
I know, officers...I know the situation firsthand. That is why I am working on the antidote.
[The doctor opens her office door, and the three enter the room. Before them is a young boy strapped down to a bed with IV fluids being put into him.]
Officers...this is my son, Kevin.
[Suddenly, the boy's face glows green, with his mouth and eyes a darker shade, as he turns into a Caprisect.]
What are they?
AQUIOS:
They are Caprisects...the warrior soldiers of the Alliance. Only...these have white boots and gloves. The ones we fight wear black.
DIEGO MAXA:
This antidote...do you have it ready?
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
No...I need a catalyst from that monster...the virus itself to complete the antidote.
AQUIOS:
(into his Star Morpher)
Admiral...the doctor needs a catalyst from the Swarm Alien to complete the antidote. The Alliance is turning the kids into Caprisects!
voice of GABE CRENSHAW:
I'll send the others to the school. OpsComm out.
[Diego departs the room.]
AQUIOS:
Doctor...I have a plan!
[Aquios sees the doctor in emotional distress.]
EXT.-CITY-ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-DAY
[As Kevin's class gets ready to work, several coughs and sniffles are heard. All but two or three of the students then turn into Caprisects...just like Kevin. The three officers enter the room as the Caprisects escape into the city after a brief struggle.]
EXT.-CITY-BILLINGTON LABS-DAY
[Diego runs outside only to see see chaos as the students-turned-Caprisects run amuck in the city.
DIEGO MAXA:
This is insane!
EXT.-CITY-ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-DAY
[The three officers try their hardest to restrain the Caprisects...but cannot.]
MELISSA CRENSHAW:
You must go back to class!
KYRIE MAXA:
Melissa! Use your Sky Power Cards!
MELISSA CRENSHAW AND KYRIE MAXA:
Whoa!
[Before Melissa can react, the Caprisects break through.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Suddenly, military vehicles flood the city.]
voice of MILITARY COMMANDER:
The city of Gardenville is now on lockdown! Return to your homes immediately! Clear the streets!
[Diego dodges through several dozen Caprisects.]
DIEGO MAXA:
I got to get back to Aquios and the doctor!
[Diego runs back to Billington Labs.]
EXT.-CITY-ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-DAY
[The three remaining officers try their best to wrangle the Caprisects.]
HEATH REGAN AND MELISSA CRENSHAW:
(as they insert the InvisiGust Sky Power Card into their Star Morphers)
InvisiGust!
[The two Sky Division officers gather all of the Caprisects into a large tornado.]
EXT.-CITY-BILLINGTON LABS-DAY
[Doctor Billington carries a silver briefcase, racing toward a silver car, and attempts to unlock the door. Sicko then confronts the doctor as Diego returns.]
SICKO:
Give me the antidote!
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
No, way!
[Sicko then blasts the doctor, and she goes down.]
DIEGO MAXA:
No!
SICKO:
You will never succeed, Black Ranger!
[Suddenly, a laser blast hits Sicko...it's the doctor, and she has a Star Pistol!]
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
You see, Sicko...I have a trick up my sleeve...Star Card...Deactivate!
[Suddenly, the doctor's form dissolves into a watery form, leaving Aquios' form.]
DIEGO MAXA:
Aquios!
SICKO:
You!
AQUIOS:
The Mirage Card...it allows me to assume the form of another being. Pretty cool, huh?
SICKO:
Not cool! That was sneaky, Blue Ranger!
AQUIOS:
And so is this! Star Morpher!
[Aquios and Diego open the slot on their morphers as the pictures appear on the Morph Cards.]
Insert Card!
[The two insert the Morph Cards, and shut the morphers. They hold the devices over their heads with the extended left arms to the sky.]
Activate!
[Their bodies glow in blue and black as the suits form (except the helmets). Angel wings for the chest symbols, and the Guardian Spirits forms the helmets.]
BLACK STAR RANGER:
You're going down! Guardian Axe!
[The Black Ranger runs after Sicko, who has already fled the area. Soon, the doctor rushes outside.]
SUSAN BILLINGTON:
You must hurry! Remember...I need his D.N.A. to make the antidote! According to my research data, the kids do not have much time...only ninety minutes...or they will become Caprisects...permanently!
BLUE STAR RANGER:
Guardian Spear!
[The Blue Ranger rushes to join the Black Ranger in battling Sicko as the doctor watches on with some hope. TO BE CONTINUED...]
