INT.-RIO MESA-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[The morning after their big two day battle with Delzei, the team relaxes. Colin just wakes up, and grabs an apple from the bowl on the table. Brock is fixing an electrical item as DeAndre does sit-ups and Keri is admiring her jewelery collection.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
‘Morning...did you sleep well?
COLIN SCOTT:
Yeah...that medicine that Paolo and Talia put on me really worked! Where’s Nikki?
BROCK CRANSTON:
She went window shopping at the outdoor marketplace. She should be back soon.
EXT.-RIO MESA-PLAZA-OUTDOOR MARKETPLACE-DAY
[Nikki admires the various merchandise for sale at the various booths. As she passes a window display, she doesn’t know that she is not alone...a man named Elias is watching her every move. Nikki walks away from the marketplace to head back to the ship. By a set of stairs, Elias confronts her.]
ELIAS:
Excuse me...do you know where the bus station is?
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Sure...let me take you there.
[The two start walking toward the bus station. A couple dozen feet down the way, Elias grabs Nikki by the arm, and holds a gun to her side.]
ELIAS:
No sudden moves, or I will have no choice.
[Nikki looks scared as Elias looks very convincing, and threatening.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Kyatsu arrives on the bridge, and has some good news to tell Kraken.]
KYATSU:
Sire...I have some good news. That meteorite that crashed on Earth two days ago has been confirmed to have powerful qualities to it.
PRINCE KRAKEN:
Excellent! Little do those puny Earthlings realize, that that tiny little rock can emit a deadly toxin when exposed to electrical currents. I want to acquire that meteorite!
SHIREIKAN:
Zangler!
[A blue and green angler fish-like Scallywag enters the bridge.]
KYATSU:
This should give you the jolt you need to activate that meteorite.
ZANGLER:
I’ll get that purdy little rock for ‘ya!
INT.-RIO MESA-WAREHOUSE DISTRICT-ABANDONED WAREHOUSE-DAY
[Elias forces Nikki into a dark, abandoned warehouse.]
ELIAS:
What is your phone number...I’m gonna call for a ransom.
[Elias gets angry, and points the gun to Nikki’s head, but she notices something, and sticks her finger into the barrel of the firearm.]
Are you crazy or something!?
[Nikki kicks the weapon into the air, and performs various spin kicks in front of her kidnapper to intimidate him before catching the gun.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
(handing the gun back to Elias)
This is a toy, right? Here.
ELIAS:
Who are you, some sort of superhero?
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
I am a Power Ranger...the Pink Hero Ranger, to be exact.
[Elias realizes that he has made a very huge mistake, and collapses to his hands and knees, and grovels at Nikki’s feet.]
ELIAS:
(crying)
I’m so sorry! But I had no choice! I had quit my job to open my own business, and had to borrow money from what turned out to be a shady company. They took everything, and I still owed them a two hundred and fifty thousand dollars by the end of the month...or else they would go after my family. I didn’t know what else to do...I am so desperate!
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
I understand. What is your name?
ELIAS:
(clearing his eyes)
Elias...but you can call me Eli.
NIKKI BUACHANAN:
Okay, Eli. My name is Nicole, but everyone calls me Nikki. Let’s see if we can work something out. But first, my friends are expecting me. I better call them to let them know that I am okay.
[Nikki uses her morpher to call the ship.]
Hi, guys...I am okay...just with my kidnapper.
INT.-RIO MESA-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Brock quickly stands up. The news gets everyone’s attention.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
Kidnapper!?
[Brock and Keri are in shock, wrestle for the morpher.]
COLIN SCOTT:
Let’s go and find out. Brock...track her morpher.
INT.-RIO MESA-WAREHOUSE DISTRICT-ABANDONED WAREHOUSE-DAY
[The two try to figure out things when Zangler enters the warehouse.]
ZANGLER:
I didn’t think I would find you so quickly! Now, hand it over!
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
What’s he talking about?
ELIAS:
Have no clue!
ZANGLER:
I want the meteorite!
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
(realizing what the Scallywag is after)
Meteorite!? Don’t give it to him, Eli!
[Zangler blasts the two, who dodge, but Nikki’s necklace is shot off of her neck. Nikki pulls out her Crossbone Musket to blast back at the Scallywag.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Clue or no clue...we got to get out of here!
[Nikki fires her weapon at the lights, to let the darkness cover their way out, with Zangler hot on their tail. Suddenly, the four other crew members slice and shoot their way into the warehouse.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
This is where Nikki’s morpher signal was pinging from.
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
(picking up Nikki’s necklace, showing the others)
She was here...look!
[Everyone looks at the frayed “rope” part of the piece of jewelery, get worried. Soon, the four are called.]
voice of NAVIX:
Rangers...further analysis shows the readings of a Scallywag.
[The four run out of the warehouse.]
KERI SCHMIDT:
Navix...continue to track Nikki’s morpher!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Zangler chases Nikki and Elias up a street. The two accidentally run into a dead end, and are cornered by the Scallywag.]
ZANGLER:
Ha! Gotcha now! Volt Vine!
[Zangler unleashes green tendril-like vines to attack the two, and cause explosions.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
I’ve had it with this guy!
[Nikki inserts her Power Key into her Hero Morpher, and turns the key. The Pink Ranger suit “flash-forms” over Nikki’s body. She then leaps into the air, and blasts Zangler with her Crossbone Musket. The Scallywag deflects the blasts, the uses his Volt Vines again. The Pink Ranger is thrown to in front of Elias, and rolls on the ground.]
ZANGLER:
(as the Pink Ranger transforms)
Let’s finish this!
PINK AGENT RANGER
(as she removes an earring, and throws it at Zangler)
My thoughts exactly!
[The Pink Agent Ranger uses her morpher and a key to transform into the Pink Star Ranger.]
PINK STAR RANGER:
(with the Star Morpher and Tornadic Transport Star Card)
Time to go!
[Zangler re-loads his blaster.]
EXT.-CITY-WATERFRONT-DAY
[A little later, Nikki and Elias run on the promenade, and find an area to hide. The citizen is exhausted and overwhelmed.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Think about it...have you picked up anything in the last couple days?
ELIAS:
Come to think of it...I did pick up a pretty rock the other day.
[Elias hand the rock over to Nikki.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
I believe this is it!
ELIAS:
(sits down on a curb to cry)
Of all the rotten luck I have had recently.
[Elias hands the meteorite over to Nikki for safe-keeping. Suddenly, Zangler and a platoon of Foilers find them.]
ZANGLER:
(taunting)
Found you!
[Soon, the other four crewmen arrive.]
COLIN SCOTT:
(taunting)
Found you!
[The four leap down to face charging minions. Colin uses his cutlass to slice and dice at Zangler as everyone else goes after the Foilers. Even though it hurts, Keri head-butts a Foiler as DeAndre leaps down to slice and dice. He even punches one in the face multiple times. Brock the puts a Foiler into a “figure four leg-lock...” the Foiler even tries to “tap-out.” Colin pins one to the wall with his foot, and attempts to blast it in the face, but is interrupted by other minions by having to slice and blast them.]
ZANGLER:
You Foilers are hopeless!
KERI SCHMIDT:
And so are you...kidnapping our friend!
[Nikki and Elias look confused. She then joins the others, and all five prepare their morphers and keys.]
ALL TEENS:
It’s Morphin Time!
[The suits “fully-form” over the five. The rangers face the charging Foilers with the Crossbone Muskets and Crossbone Cutlasses, and melee-battle the minions. The Blue Ranger punches a Foiler in the face repeatedly...AGAIN! The Yellow Ranger trades her musket to the Pink Ranger for her cutlass. She fights with the two blasters as Elias watches from behind a nearby tree in the park, but some Foilers get too close, and the Pink Ranger goes to help him.]
PINK HERO RANGER:
Be careful, okay!
[Elias watches the Pink Ranger as she continues to battle the Foilers. The rangers continue to battle Zangler and the Foilers, and defeat the minions, who all explode. The five face the Scallywag, who uses his Volt Vines again to cause an explosion to throw the rangers back, and they roll. They quickly recover. The Pink Ranger holds up her Galaxy Power Key.]
Let’s use these!
[The rangers insert the keys into their morphers, and turn them. The Galaxy Ranger suits form over the Hero Ranger suits.]
voice of HERO MORPHER:
Galaxy Power!
[The rangers use their Quasar Sabers, and charge at the charging Zangler, who uses a whirling attack. The rangers use their elemental attacks on the Scallywag, who is caught up in the resulting explosion, and rolls. The rangers then charge at Zangler, using their sword attack one-by-one to attack Zangler again. The rangers power down into their Hero Ranger forms, and insert their keys into their muskets.]
ALL RANGERS:
Hero Wave!
[Zangler cackles in red energy bolts, and is engulfed in flames as he collapses and explodes.]
PINK HERO RANGER:
That got him!
[Suddenly, a pink beam rains down onto Zangler, to revive and enlarge him. The Red Ranger presses 5-5-0-1-* to summon the galleon. Soon, the megazord lands in front of the Scallywag.]
ALL RANGERS:
Hero Megazord!
[The megazord faces Zangler, who uses his Volt Vines to cause sparks and smoke in the cockpit. The rangers insert the S.P.D. Keys. and turn the dial.]
Hero Megazord, Delta Mode!
[The megazord uses it’s twin blasters to blast Zangler, then takes to the air to blast him again, and knocks him down. The rangers then insert the Wild Force Keys, then the Kendo Keys to activate the megazord’s Kendo Mode. Zangler charges the megazord, as it uses it’s double-bladed staff to attack the Scallywag to knock him down again. The megazord then calls for the large Fire Striker.]
Heroic Sword Slash!
[The megazord drops the Fire Striker to destroy Zangler, then poses victoriously. The rangers breathe a sigh of relief in the cockpit as well.]
EXT.-CITY-WATERFRONT-DAY
[The five crewmen are at a railing, looking out over the water.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
The seawater should negate all effects of this meteorite.
[Nikki goes over to meet with Elias.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
I know it is not much...but here is some money from my last deejay gig. It should help out. If you should need anything, here is my cell phone number.
ELIAS:
Thank you again...and...I’m sorry for causing so much trouble.
[Elias waves goodbye as does Nikki, with the others watching from behind her.]

NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: THE NEXT GENERATION...
Episode #18. Triangle
Navix’ dream triggers a new clue, which is to observe traffic safety. The crew finds Zealoci and a platoon of Foilers going after a man, who is then revealed to be T.J. Johnson...the former Red Turbo Ranger, who is caught in the middle of a love triangle.
