INT.-CITY (ANGEL GROVE)-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[The entire crew takes a nap...including Navix, who soon has a vision. She looks similar to the Condor Nitrozord, racing down a street, but has to dodge on-coming big-rig trucks and “melting” traffic signs. She then wakes up, and does her “head-bump” routine on the ceiling of the ship, waking everyone up.]
NAVIX:
Everyone should obey the rules of the road...oy!
[Navix tips over in a comedic ploy. The crew is confused, but intrigued.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Sanbo shows Kraken a video of a human in red...T.J. Johnson, that came into contact with their previous Scallywag, Zangler.]
SANBO:
Sire...I thought that you should see this. A human interfered Zangler’s mission the other day. The human reprimanded Zangler for trying to cross the street on a red light.
PRINCE KRAKEN:
And...? Sanbo...this...human’s interference is insignificant to our plans.
[Everyone except for Kyatsu exits the room. Kyatsu sees the frozen video of the man, and presses play. She sees the man fold his arms, and looks like he made a difference.]
KYATSU:
Ooh! He’s cute!
[Zealoci enters the room, see’s his old crush, Kyatsu at the computer controls and in command of the ship.]
Zealoci! I need you to do something for me.
[Kyatsu hands the Scallywag a picture of T.J..]
I need you to go into the city, and capture this man for me.
ZEALOCI:
I’ll do anything for you, my love!
EXT.-CITY (ANGEL GROVE)-PARK-DAY
[T.J. is at a baseball diamond, playing a game of baseball with his semi-professional team. He has just hit a homerun, and trots the bases to come home.]
PLAYER:
That was a long one, Teej!
T.J. JOHNSON:
(shrugging off the accolades)
It was just a lucky shot!
PLAYER:
But it was the game-winning run!
T.J. JOHNSON:
Okay...but I got to get going. Got some other friends waiting for me.
[T.J. waves good-bye to his teammate, and starts walking away from the ball-field. Suddenly, Zealoci and a platoon of Foilers teleport in. The group looks at the picture, and determines that they have the right man.]
ZEALOCI:
That him? Good! Get him!
[T.J. looks very surprised, and starts to run away a bit, then stops to take a stance.]
T.J. JOHNSON:
Hey! Wait a minute!
[T.J. puts up a good fight.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Kyatsu watches the battle play out on the screen.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The five galleon crewmembers read a DMV handbook, and practice the rules of the road.]
KERI SCHMIDT:
(skeptical)
Are you sure this is what Navix meant?
[Suddenly, the five see a man running from the Foilers on a elevated pedestrian bridge.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
What’s that all about?
COLIN SCOTT:
I don’t know...but we’d better check it out. Come on!
[Soon, the Foilers have T.J. cornered, but some of the minions get blasted by the rangers, who use their Crossbone Muskets and Cutlasses, angering Zealoci. TT.J. recognizes the rangers.]
T.J. JOHNSON:
So, those are the Hero Rangers. Tommy and the others chose well!
[The Pink Ranger recommends using the Morphin Ranger Power Keys. The five insert the keys into their morphers, and turn to transform.]
voice of HERO MORPHER:
Morphin Power!
[The Morphin Ranger suits “fully-form” over the bodies of the five. The rangers use their Power Weapons to attack.]
T.J. JOHNSON:
Cool!
[Soon, all of the Foilers cackle in blue energy bolts, and explode. Zealoci really gets angry, and zaps the rangers with red beams from his hands. The Blue and Yellow Rangers leap up and use their Power Lance and Power Daggers...The Black and Pink Rangers leap up with their Power Axe and Power Bow to attack...the the Red Ranger leaps in with the Power Sword to slash Zealoci, who tries to catch the blade, but misses, and is rewarded with two more slashes. Zealoci falls over.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Kyatsu sees how poorly Zealoci has done.]
KYATSU:
I knew he was spineless...but that was embarrassing!
EXT.-CITY (ANGEL GROVE)-DAY
[The rangers power all the way down, and are met by T.J..]
T.J. JOHNSON:
So...you guys are the Hero Rangers.
COLIN SCOTT:
Yeah...Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, and Kimberly are our parents.
T.J. JOHNSON:
I was the Red Turbo Ranger after Tommy. After the Legend War, I have been a semi-pro ball-player.
KERI SCHMIDT:
Is that why the Foilers were after you?
T.J. JOHNSON:
Maybe.
KERI SCHMIDT:
This is what Navix meant!
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Kyatsu watches the monitor. She seems even more in love with T.J., and prances around the room. Unbeknownst to her, Zealoci is watching her dance, and gets very jealous.]
ZEALOCI:
I was to go get him for her!? Now I am jealous!
EXT.-CITY (ANGEL GROVE)-DAY
[Brock talks with T.J. for a bit. Suddenly, Zealoci arrives, and uses a fire attack on the two. Kyatsu teleports in, and berates Zealoci.]
KYATSU:
I ordered you to bring him to me.
ZEALOCI:
Stand aside, Kyatsu...I must defend my love for you!
KYATSU:
No!
[Kyatsu picks up T.J., and twirls him around to dodge the blasts, then runs off with him as the Scallywag follows. Soon, the others re-join Brock’s side.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
(bewildered)
What is going on around here!?
COLIN SCOTT:
Let’s go find out!
KYATSU:
Just don’t stand there like the peanut gallery...help me!
[The five crewmembers morph, and ready their weapons. The Green Ranger leaps in to slice the Scallywag with his sword, then kicks him downstairs to battle the others and their swords. Zealoci attacks the rangers by burning up, and running through the five several times, the powers it up to make the rangers go down.]
BLUE HERO RANGER:
What is with this guy!?
T.J. JOHNSON:
Guys! Use your Turbo Keys, and shift into Turbo!
[Red and the others use their Auto Keys, stick them into the morpher, and turn the key.]
voice of HERO MORPHER:
Auto Power!
T.J. JOHNSON:
I said, the Turbo Keys!
RED AUTO RANGER:
Shift Into Turbo!
[The rangers try again, and succeed.]
voice of HERO MORPHER:
Turbo Power!
[The five charge in to battle Zealoci, with the Red Ranger even head-butting the Scallywag, then kicks him down. The five then summon their weapons (complete with helmet headlight flash), and all rush to attack Zealoci.]
RED TURBO RANGER:
Turbo Lightning Sword!
[The Red Ranger leaps in with his weapon to slash Zealoci. As T.J. watches proudly, Kyatsu gets her hands on him, and puts him onto his back, and sits on him. She tries to kiss T.J., who forces her off of him.
T.J. JOHNSON:
Not today, freak!
[T.J. runs off as the pink enlargement beam hits Zealoci to make him grow. The rangers see the growth.]
RED HERO RANGER:
All of this is nuts! I’m summoning the zords!
[The Red Ranger presses 5-5-0-1 on his morpher to summon the galleon, which flies over and drops the drag chains to pick up the rangers, The galleon then blasts Zealoci with it’s cannons to cause sparks just before it goes into space.]
EXT.-OUTER SPACE-DAY
[The galleon releases the other Powerzords, and forms the Hero Megazord.]
ALL RANGERS:
Hero Megazord!
[The megazord travels back down to the city, to confront Zealoci.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The megazord lands, faces Zealoci. In the cockpit, the rangers insert their Power Keys, and turn them to activate the Hero Power Bomber as the Scallywag charges at the robot. Cannonballs are launched at him at point-blank range, and is blasted back. He soon recovers.]
RED HERO RANGER:
I’ve had enough of this clown. Let’s take care of him!
[The rangers insert their Turbo Keys, and turn them. The megazord glows.]
ALL RANGERS:
Hero Megazord, Turbo Mode!
[The megazord waits for a green light, then speed-charges Zealoci, then the megazord, with it’s dual swords executes it’s finisher.]
Hero Megazord...Spinout!
[The megazord spins around with it’s swords to attack Zealoci.]
voice of GREEN HERO RANGER:
Oh, I’m gonna be sick!
voice of PINK HERO RANGER:
Not in the helmet, Brock!
[The megazord strikes Zealoci with it’s swords to make the Scallywag go down again.]
T.J. JOHNSON:
That got him!
ALL RANGERS:
(as the megazord forms)
Hero Megazord, Kendo Mode!
[Zealoci leaps into the megazord, but the robot uses it’s double-bladed staff to slash the Scallywag three ways.]
Fire Striker! Ignite!
[The flaming weapon is summoned to slice Zealoci in two. He is engulfed in flames, and cackles with energy bolts...but continues to stand.]
RED HERO RANGER:
Batter up!
[The megazord uses the weapon to fling Zealoci into space. T.J. puts his hand over his eyes to shade from the sun as he watches the Scallywag get launched into the sky.]
ALL RANGERS:
Homerun!
T.J. JOHNSON:
That one is long gone...it’s outta here!
EXT.-OUTER SPACE-DAY
[Zealoci flies toward the Stampeder.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Everyone braces for impact, the go about their normal business after the sudden shake. Zealoci enters the room.]
ZEALOCI:
(as he collapses on the floor)
Kyatsu! I, love you!
KYATSU:
You have no spine, Zealoci!
[The general moves to depart the room.]
Put him out with the rest of the day’s garbage!
[Kyatsu exits the room.]
EXT.-CITY (ANGEL GROVE)-PARK-DAY
[The galleon crewmembers and T.J. take part in a quick game of baseball.]
INT.-CITY (ANGEL GROVE)-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Navix watches the game on the viewscreen for a bit, then shuts it off.]
NAVIX:
(as she sets perch on Colin’s captain’s chair)
Maybe the Turbo powers won’t be as useful as the others. Swing batter, batter!
[Navix whistles the “Charge!" music a bit before the lights in the main room turn off.]

NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: THE NEXT GENERATION...
Episode #19. Rival (1)
The Zangyu send a privateer to Earth and Colin identifies him as his old rival Paco, who has access to Power Keys of the “sixth” rangers, which he then summons to face them.
