Shuriken Sentai Ninninger Episode #9: "Shinobi #9: Ninjutsu Vs. Magic, The Great Battle!"

INT.-CITY-DOJO-SHINOBI OPS-DAY
[While laying down, Ray tells the team about the End Shuriken.]
RAY FROST:
I do know of the End Shuriken. It has the ability to destroy the world. That is why the Demon Core must not get it's hands on it.
ANDREW FROST:
What about you, dad...is there a way to separate you from Ninjakon?
[Ray re-takes the Ninjakon form.]
NINJAKON:
I am not sure...but your father's body is getting weaker with me in here.
[Xavier enters the base. He has a piece of paper and an envelope in his hands, and looks very concerned.]
BROOK PADILLA:
What is it, X?
X WYATT:
It's from my mother. She has arranged a spot for me on a soccer team.
IZZY FROST:
That's great!
X WYATT:
Unfortunately...it's in Italy!
IAN FROST:
But that is your dream!
X WYATT:
It is...but my ranger duties come first!
ANDREW FROST:
It would be wise to take some time and think things through before you make a decision, X.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[A shadowy Rage appears...only his shadow can be seen, hence it's name, SHADOW RAGE. Suddenly, a golden blur arrives, and quickly destroys the Rage. The blue stops...it is a Gold Ranger with a guitar-like weapon. As the Rage explodes, he strums the guitar. The Rage's Sealing Shuriken is given up, and the ranger receives it.]
GOLD SHINOBI RANGER:
(with a male voice)
This isn't what I am looking for.
[The Gold Ranger tosses the Shuriken aside, and "blurs" out of the area just as the Shinobi Rangers arrive. The five rangers do not see any trouble.]
WHITE SHINOBI RANGER:
(puzzled)
There's nothing here!
PINK SHINOBI RANGER:
Look! A purified Sealing Shuriken!
YELLOW SHINOBI RANGER:
You know what that means.
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
Somebody did the job for us!
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
Yeah...but who?
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[The five, now unmorphed, walk along a sidewalk. They come across the window of an electronics store, and see the televisions on display. One television has a news interview with a fashion designer.]
IZZY FROST:
Guys! Look at that dress! It has a Shuriken on it!
ALL:
(shocked)
What? No way!
X WYATT:
There's another problem.
BROOK PADILLA:
What?
X WYATT:
That's my mother!
IAN FROST:
We have to get that Shuriken. It might be the End Shuriken!
[Unbeknownst to the five, a Oni is spying on them.]
INT.-DEMON CORE-DAY
[A lone Oni soldier reports to Monukye about what it saw.]
MONUKYE:
Really? How intriguing!
KURAIZO:
Let me help!
[Kuraizo uses his power to upgrade a platoon of Oni into more powerful Kuroni.]
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-WYATT FASHIONS-DAY
[The five ninjas enter the building.]
INT.-CITY-PLAZA-WYATT FASHIONS-OFFICE-DAY
[Mrs. Wyatt greets her son, and is introduced to his friends.]
MRS. WYATT:
Xavier!
X WYATT:
Hi Mom! Mom...these are my friends...Ian...Josh...Izzy...and Brook.
MRS. WYATT:
Did you get my letter?
X WYATT:
Yes...and I will have to think about it.
MRS. WYATT:
What is there to think about?
X WYATT:
I am in the middle of martial arts training at the dojo...and Along with my friends, we help the city during times of emergency. In fact...that brooch on your new dress...
MRS. WYATT:
What about it?
X WYATT:
That brooch is actually something that can potentially harm the planet.
MRS. WYATT:
I will give it to you...
[The ninjas...except for X look excited.]
...on one condition, Xavier signs the contract to play soccer in Italy.
X WYATT:
I will have to think that over, Mom.
MRS. WYATT;
Good. Now...if you excuse me.
[Mrs. Wyatt leaves the room...and the dress.]
BROOK PADILLA:
(holding up a blank Shuriken)
I go an idea.
INT.-CITY-PLAZA-WYATT FASHIONS-LOBBY-DAY
[The five make their way towards the doors in the lobby, just as Monukye and the Kuroni infiltrate the building, frightening everyone.]
MONUKYE:
Oh, don't leave so soon!
[Monukye steps by the entry carpet, and kneels down to place a corrupted Sealing Shuriken onto it.]
Don't you just hate getting walked all over!
[The carpet transforms with purplish energy bolts, and forms into a Rage Monster...CARPET RAGE. As the quintet turns the corner to enter the main area of the lobby, they see the demons.]
X WYATT:
Monukye!
IZZY FROST:
What are those!?
BROOK PADILLA:
They look different from the usual Oni?
MONUKYE:
That's because they have been upgraded into Kuroni! Attack!
[The Kuroni charge in with their large swords, The team tries their best to evade the attacks. Carpet Rage then uses it's magic broom to transform Izzy into a mouse as the others deal with the Kuroni.]
IAN FROST:
Izzy!
[Soon, the Rage gets Josh into a choke-hold.]
CARPET RAGE:
(as he squeezes tighter and tighter)
Where is the End Shuriken?
JOSH TURNER:
(with a constricted voice)
It's in the designer's office!
[The Rage wanders off just as the team finishes off the Kuroni. In the hallway, the remaining team members catch up to the Rage just outside of the auditorium.]
ALL:
(as they place their Morph Shurikens onto their katanas, and press the morph button)
Shinobi Power!
[The suits form over the bodies of Ian, X, Josh, and Brook.]
INT.-CITY-PLAZA-WYATT FASHIONS-AUDITORIUM-DAY
[The Red and Blue Rangers arrive backstage, and see the Rage and Kuroni with the hostages...including X's mother.]
CARPET RAGE:
The rangers!
[Carpet Rage uses his magical broom to transform the Red Ranger into an action figure.]
I gots me a collectible!
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
(as he quickly moves toward, and grabs the figure)
Not so fast! You look more slender that way, Ian!
[The Blue Ranger rushes off to hide so he can regroup. As the Rage leaves the room, a lone Kuroni reveals it's true identity...it's Izzy! She has the Shuriken, and reveals that she swapped places with a real mouse just before the beam hit. Suddenly, the Rage's spells wear off, and everyone returns to normal...and out of morph.]
IZZY FROST:
Here, Brook. This will be safer with you.
[Mrs. Wyatt, now freed comes into the area, and sees the five.]
X WYATT:
Mom. The reason why I can't go to Italy right now...is because...I am a Power Ranger...and my duty is to protect the world from scary demons who want to destroy it...starting with Forest Hills.
MRS. WYATT:
(accepting)
Italy can wait. You go and do what you have to do...but...be careful!
X WYATT:
I will, Mom. Ian...lead the way!
IAN FROST
Now that that's taken care of...let's pull the rug out from under that Rage!
ALL:
Right!
[The five place their Morph Shurikens onto their katanas, and press the morph button.]
Shinobi Power!
[The suits form over the bodies of the five students.]
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[The enemy departs the area with what they think is the End Shuriken...but Monukye appears, and takes the Shuriken.]
MONUKYE:
(looking at the Shuriken)
What!? This is a fake!
[The five rangers confront the demons...but it is Monukye that surprises the Pink Ranger.]
I'll take that, pinkie! This one's a fake too! Oni...Kuroni...attack!
ALL RANGERS:
We Are Shinobi...But We Don't Hide! Power Rangers, hya! Tri-Stars!
[The rangers use the Tri-Stars in various formations to take out the minions, then turn their attention to the Rage. The rangers utilize their katanas on him a bit.]
MONUKYE:
(with the Shuriken and mallet)
Keep Raging!
ALL RANGERS:
(as the Shinobizords arrive, and are boarded)
Shinobizords, Combine!
[The Shinobizords all combine, and the Shinobi Megazord-Drago Mode is formed...but Carpet Rage uses his broom to turn the megazord into a statue. Suddenly, another Shinobizord appears...a blue matador-like robot riding a brown bronco-like four-wheeled cycle.]
GOLD SHINOBI RANGER:
What a work of art! Ride 'em cowboy!
[The zords race around the Rage to disorient him. The matador rider hops off of the cycle, and grabs the brook, and breaks it over it's knee to free the other megazord.]
Yee-Haw! Zords...combine!
[The matador and bronco both combine into a megazord. The megazord, armed with a huge blaster fires at the Rage. Carpet Rage sparks, and cackles with golden yellow energy bolts, and collapses into an explosion.]
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
(as he and the others watch in shock)
Whoa! Awesome!
[The strange megazord reverts into it's "cycle and rider" mode, and vanishes into a cloud of dust and smoke.]
ALL:
(in shock)
What was that!?
PINK SHINOBI RANGER:
Let's get back to Shinobi Ops and find out!
