INT.-CITY-DOJO-SHINOBI OPS-DAY
[The five visit with Ray.]
IAN FROST:
Grandpa...we saw two strange Shinobizords out there...a blue humanoid zord like mine riding a quad. Do you know anything about them?
RAY FROST:
I'm sorry, Ian. I do not...and neither does Ninjakon.
[As the quintet seems "bummed out," Ray suspects something.]
INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[A little later, the five students help prepare the dojo for the evening class. Ace and Sabrina enter and help as well.]
IAN FROST:
(joking around...sort of)
Hey, sis!
SABRINA BREWER:
Hey! Heard that there may be a new ranger in town?
IZZY FROST:
We have no clue who it is...yet.
X WYATT:
Or if he's on our side or not.
[After several minutes, a young British-looking man walks into the dojo. Andrew comes into the main room, and instantly recognizes the man.]
ANDREW FROST:
Tristan! Guys! This is Tristan Emerson.
TRIST EMERSON:
(with a southern drawl)
Hi...y'all can call me Trist!
ANDREW FROST:
Five years ago, Trist was our best student.
IAN FROST:
(pointing to a very large trophy inside the trophy case)
Yeah. He won the dojo that.
ANDREW FROST:
Trist holds multiple Black Belts is multiple disciplines...and achieved them at the age of sixteen.
ACE BREWER:
Awesome!
ANDREW FROST:
So...Trist...what are you up to these days? Last I heard you left for the military.
TRIST EMERSON:
Oh...in town visiting family and friends. I went to Japan to learn new Ninjutsu techniques instead.
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Later that day, Ian, X, and Izzy walk in the park. The return of Trist is a popular subject.]
IAN FROST:
I remember watching him in the dojo five years ago...he was great!
[The trio walk past a construction area, where a "front-loader" is parked. X sees the piece of equipment glow in a purple hue.]
X WYATT:
Uh...guys! We got company!
[The front-loader transforms into TRACTOR RAGE, and he has a platoon of Oni and Kuroni with him. The three start battling the minions while un-morphed, and use their katanas to battle the minions.]
IAN FROST:
(with his katana)
Shinobi Fury!
X WYATT:
(with his katana)
Shinobi Fury!
IZZY FROST:
(with her katana)
Shinobi Fury!
[The trio slice-and-dice most of them into defeat.]
ALL:
(as the trio place their Morph Shurikens onto their katanas, and press the morph button)
Shinobi Power!
[The suits form over the bodies of the three students.]
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
(posing, with colored smoke)
With The Element Of Fire! Red Shinobi Ranger!
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
(posing, with colored smoke)
With The Element Of Water! Blue Shinobi Ranger!
WHITE SHINOBI RANGER:
(posing, with colored smoke)
With The Element Of Weather! White Shinobi Ranger!
[The three prepare to face the rest of the minions...but see a golden blur rush past them, and through the minions. Seeing the Gold Ranger man-handle the minions, the three decide to go after Tractor Rage.]
GOLD SHINOBI RANGER:
(posing with his guitar, and colored smoke)
With The Element Of Music! Gold Shinobi Ranger! Riff LaserBlade!
[The Gold Ranger strums his guitar, and uses a Shuriken of his own.]
Storm Shuriken!
[The Gold Ranger produces a hurricane-force wind to attack the Rage for the rangers. Soon, a couple Oni see a little girl screaming in fear, and approach her.]
Oh, no!
[The Gold Ranger sees the trouble, and leaps in to save the girl, who then runs to safety. The Red Ranger finishes attacking the Rage. The Yellow and Pink Rangers arrive to help, notice the Gold Ranger.]
PINK SHINOBI RANGER:
A Gold Ranger!?
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
(shaking his head in confusion)
He's on our side...I think.
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
Welcome to the fray, guys. Let's get to work!
[The two "late-comers" stand before the three others to perform their individual roll-calls.]
YELLOW SHINOBI RANGER:
(posing, with colored smoke)
With The Element Of Earth! Yellow Shinobi Ranger!
PINK SHINOBI RANGER:
(posing, with colored smoke)
With The Element Of Air! Pink Shinobi Ranger!
[The core five rangers get into team formation to perform the team roll-call.]
ALL RANGERS:
(posing, with colored smoke, then explosions)
We Are Shinobi...But We Don't Hide! Power Rangers, hya!
[While battling the Rage, the Red Ranger has a chance to see the moves that the Gold Ranger is using in battle.]
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
Those moves! They seem familiar!
GOLD SHINOBI RANGER:
Riff Slash!
[The Gold Ranger executes the attack, but it just drives the Rage away...with what's left of the minions following. The five core rangers watch the enemy run, then turn around to confront the Gold Ranger.]
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
Who are you?
[The Gold Ranger stares at the five, then "ninja streaks" away.]
Those moves of his. Can it be?
INT.-DEMON CORE-DAY
[The evil trio try to figure out what to do now that there is a Gold Ranger around.]
MONUKYE:
There is a Gold Ranger now!?
GENGHIS:
What!!! A Gold Ranger!?
MONUKYE:
What are we gonna do, my lord?
KURAIZO:
I have more Kuroni at the ready.
TRACTOR RANGER:
And I ready to run down those costumed freaks!
INT.-CITY-DOJO-SHINOBI OPS-NIGHT
[As the sun sets, the team reviews battle footage. He shows his father the footage of the Gold Ranger's moves.]
IAN FROST:
Dad...have you seen these moves before? Do they seem familiar to you?
ANDREW FROST:
They do seem somewhat familiar...I have seen them somewhere before.
EXT.-CITY-DOWNTOWN-ROOFTOP-DAY
[The next morning, Trist is on a rooftop, playing the Riff LaserBlade with a golden yellow Shuriken. He uses the Shuriken like a guitar pick to play the weapon like a real guitar. He starts singing.]
TRIST EMERSON:
(singing)
I came home, saw some friends, partied like a golden rock-star...
[Trist sees an explosion and stops singing. He then hears screaming in the distance.]
Gotta go!
[Trist leaves his rooftop perch.]
EXT.-CITY-DOWNTOWN-DAY
[The Gold Ranger arrives, and immediately starts fighting the Oni and Kuroni. The other five rangers arrive, and help the Gold Ranger fight the minions. Seeing the Gold Ranger's moves again, the Red Ranger recognizes them as belonging to Trist!]
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
(thinking to himself)
Trist!? Is that you in there?
TRACTOR RAGE:
I love the smell of destruction in the morning!
[The Rage appears, and quickly overpowers the core five rangers. The Gold Ranger then goes to attack the Rage on his own with his Riff LaserBlade, but is bested by the Rage when he powers up his fists and arms to send the Gold Ranger flying out of morph. His cover is blown.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Trist!?
[The core five charge the Rage, but get sent flying back toward Trist one-by-one, and are knocked out of morph as well. The six struggle to recover.]
IAN FROST:
How'd that thing get so powerful so suddenly!?
[Monukye appears.]
MONUKYE:
I can answer that. We have a new Demon Shuriken that upgrades one with more power. This is the Power Shuriken!
BROOK PADILLA:
They can create Shurikens!?
IAN FROST:
No way!
IZZY FROST:
This can't be happening!
IAN FROST:
Guys...we got to pull back and regroup. Are you coming with us, Trist?
TRIST EMERSON:
Guess I have no choice right now.
IAN FROST:
Let's go.
[As the six ninjas vanish, Monukye laughs maniacally, as the Rage flexes his muscles.]
MONUKYE:
Run all you want, rangers!
TRACTOR RAGE:
Yeah! Run like wimps!
MONUKYE:
The Demon Core will be victorious!
