EXT.-CITY-BEACH-DAY
[The rangers draw their weapons (Kendo Razors and Solar Dagger) and battle the Kusanizars for a few minutes.]
JIGARA:
Sanzu! Continue your mission!
[Soon, Sanzu completes the spell, which dissolves the barrier between Earth and Purgatory. The opening creates a massive explosion of energy. The rangers and Sanzu are wounded, as Crustacea barely escapes. The sky above turns a fiery orange as Jigara walks toward the opening. The rangers recover to their feet, and try to block Jigara.]
RED KENDO RANGER:
We won't let you succeed, Jigara!
JIGARA:
(as he blasts the team back for a loop)
You have no choice, rangers! You're power cannot stop me!
[Jigara arrives at the gateway to Purgatory. As the rangers, Sanzu, and Crustacea look on in horror, a second explosion knocks the team out. Within a few seconds, Dimitri recovers, and starts to check on the others, starting with Sierra. Soon, the others recover as well. The city is a mess...rubble and debris everywhere.]
LOGAN KINGSTON:
(seeing Sanzu lying face-down nearby)
Sanzu!
[Remembering Sanzu's words, Logan readies his Solar Phone, and contemplates his next move. He then has second thoughts, and leaves to join the others.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT
[That night, the bandaged-up team recovers as Paolo talks to them in front of the map.]
PAOLO NOIMI:
There may be something that is able to stop Jigara's plan. Near the final gateway, there is a small stone pillar. The stone is the location of a member of Aiden's family.
[Logan has heard enough, and gets up.]
LOGAN KINGSTON:
Guys...I must confess. I...had a chance to destroy Sanzu...but did not, and now I feel guilty. I let my conscience get in the way. I'm sorry.
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
It's okay, Logan.
LOGAN KINGSTON:
I need to go think.
[Logan departs the village.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-NIGHT
[Sanzu visits the stone. He remembers how Jigara destroyed the Chase Family, and how he took the katana that made him evil (complete with the glowing eyes).]
SANZU:
The Power Rangers shall be destroyed!
EXT.-CITY-RIO MESA CAFE-NIGHT
[At dawn, the conflicted Logan arrives at the closed cafe. He sits at one of the outdoor seating areas. Lumina then flies in.]
LUMINA:
Logan...we all hesitate at one time or another.
LOGAN KINGSTON:
Yes, but that was Sanzu...and I am a ranger!
[Logan then perks up his head only to see a nearby gateway.]
It is my job to destroy him!
[Logan gains some confidence, and stands up.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY
[The next morning, Cody and Eddie talk as Dimitri secretly looks on from a distance.]
CODY EGAWA:
Eddie...do you think we have enough power to stop Jigara?
EDDIE CALLAHAN:
We'd better...or the Earth as we know it is doomed.
[Dimitri approaches the two.]
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
That is why we have to be ready, guys!
[Suddenly, the alarm rings...Jigara is near the location of the final gateway in the quarry. The five present team members depart the base.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-QUARRY-DAY
[Jigara has Sanzu's katana, and stalks the smoking pile of rocks.]
JIGARA:
Soon, the final gateway to Purgatory will be thrown wide open...and there is nothing that can stop my plans now...not even the Power Rangers!
EXT.-CITY-PARK-JAPANESE GARDEN-DAY
[Sanzu walks down a flight of steps. Waiting at the bottom is Logan, who readies his Solar Dagger.]
SANZU:
Ah, the Gold Ranger...come to finally destroy me?
LOGAN KINGSTON:
You're going down, Sanzu!
[Logan tightly grips his bladed weapon.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-QUARRY-DAY
[Dimitri, Sierra, Megan, and Lumina arrive to a electrifying reception by Jigara.]
JIGARA:
Welcome to your nightmare, rangers!
[The three humans prepare their Kendo Cells.]
ALL:
Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform!
[The suits "flash-form" over the three.]
RED KENDO RANGER AND PINK KENDO RANGER::
Kendo Razors!
YELLOW KENDO RANGER:
Lumina! Weapon Mode!
[The Red and Pink Rangers draw their Kendo Razors as the Yellow Ranger utilizes Lumina in his weapon mode.]
JIGARA:
Really!? Kanizars!
[The three rangers get ready to charge into battle.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-JAPANESE GARDEN-DAY
[Logan gets ready to use his Solar Dagger on Sanzu as Cody and Eddie arrive nearby.]
SANZU:
Well, Gold Ranger? What are you waiting for!?
LOGAN KINGSTON:
We don't have to fight, Sanzu!
SANZU:
I knew it...you don't have what it takes to defeat me! Well...
[Logan drops his head as Sanzu's sword materializes in his right hand.]
...I have what it takes to destroy you!
[Sanzu gets ready to swing his sword over his head as Logan looks up in shock. Sanzu then swings the sword downward to be-head Logan.]
CODY EGAWA AND EDDIE CALLAHAN:
Kendo Razors!
[Cody and Eddie use their Kendo Razors to protect Logan.]
See! You have to rely on the others to help you! You pitiful weakling!
[Cody and Eddie fight Sanzu sword-to-sword before the Stygian retreats.]
Next time, you won't be so lucky!
[Cody and Eddie help Logan up.]
EDDIE CALLAHAN:
Come on, Logan...we got to go help the others.
[The still conflicted Logan leaves the park with Cody and Eddie.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-NALA'S HUT-DAY
[Paolo walks into Nala's hut.]
PAOLO NOIMI:
You wanted to see me, Nala?
NALA CALI:
I just heard that she is on her way back to the village.
PAOLO NOIMI:
Her training must be complete.
NALA CALI:
Yes...but what about Dimitri? The others look up to him as their leader.
PAOLO NOIMI
It's for the best, Nala.
[Paolo walks out of the hut.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-QUARRY-DAY
[The Red, Pink, and Yellow Rangers defeat the Kanizars, who all explode in a fireball. The Red Ranger runs through the flames while holding the Shogun Morpher.]
RED KENDO RANGER:
Spirit Of The Shogun Orikami!
[The Red Ranger powers up into his Shogun Ranger form.]
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
Bullzooka!
[The Red Ranger uses the Bullzooka to blast at Jigara, who uses his "fingernail claws" to push him back.]
YELLOW KENDO RANGER:
Dimitri!
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
I'm okay...but this freak is not!
[Suddenly, Sanzu arrives.]
SANZU:
I want my katana back! I know that it was you who killed the Chase Family...and I will never forget it, Jigara! Now...hand it over!
[Jigara thinks that Sanzu is there to finish the job of opening the final gateway.]
JIGARA:
Ah, yes...you are here to open the final gateway. Come, come!
[Jigara hands the katana to Sanzu, and directs him to the rock formation. Crustacea arrives as Sanzu prepares to open the gate.]
CRUSTACEA:
Don't do it, Sanzu!
JIGARA:
Silence!
CRUSTACEA:
Remember!
[Jigara blasts Crustacea to shut her up.]
JIGARA:
I said...silence!
[Crustacea lies motionless on the ground as the rock formation smokes even more as the energy from the other opening intensify. Soon, the Blue, Green, and Gold Rangers arrive.]
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
He's gonna open the final gate!
BLUE KENDO RANGER:
Oh, no!
GREEN KENDO RANGER:
He can't do that!
GOLD KENDO RANGER:
Well, let's take them down!
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of The Blazing Warrior! Red Shogun Ranger!
BLUE KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Water! Blue Kendo Ranger!
PINK KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Air! Pink Kendo Ranger!
GREEN KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Wood! Green Kendo Ranger!
YELLOW KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Earth! Yellow Kendo Ranger!

(in anguish)

JIGARA:
You can't stop the Stygian Syndicate!
[Jigara continues to encourage Sanzu to open the final gateway as the six rangers and Crustacea look on in horror. TO BE CONTINUED...]
