[It is two weeks before Thanksgiving, and the team is celebrating the defeat of Jigara. After a few minutes, a villager appears, and hands Paolo an envelope.]
VILLAGER:
Excuse me, Paolo...this just arrived from Mount Hikoma.
PAOLO NOIMI:
Mount Hikoma!?
[As Paolo reads the contents of the envelope, the villager excuses himself, and departs. A huge smile breaks out on Paolo's face.]
EXT.-CITY-BEACH-DAY
[Sanzu draws his katana, and admires it.]
SANZU:
I vow to use you again in battle...
[Sanzu then re-sheathes his katana.]
to cut down the Red Ranger!
[Sanzu looks out to sea.]
INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY
[Octo talks to a wading Iod.]
IOD:
It is time to fight fire with fire.
[Iod fishes a snake-like item from the water, gives it to Octo.]
Give this to Yomatsu. It will negate the elemental powers of the Red Ranger.
OCTO:
(laughing maniacally)
Without the Red Ranger, the Kendo Ranger team will fall apart!
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY
[The team practices their symbol drawing as Paolo visits Nala's hut.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-NALA'S HUT-DAY
[Inside, Paolo and Nala talk.]
PAOLO NOIMI:
(handing Nala the envelope)
I received this earlier today.
NALA CALI:
Could it be!?
PAOLO NOIMI:
(happily)
Yes...she is returning home.
[Paolo is still beaming ear-to-ear with a huge smile as Nala seems happy as well.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY
[Lumina chucks small Kendo Discs at Eddie, who tries to swat them away with his dowel rod as the others talk.]
SIERRA CROFT:
Paolo seemed really happy when he got that envelope today.
CODY EGAWA:
What do you suppose it could be?
MEGAN NOIMI:
I do not know.
LOGAN KINGSTON:
He did mention something about Mount Hikoma.
MEGAN NOIMI:
Mount Hikoma!? That's where...Talia...Paolo's youngest daughter, went off to last year. Maybe she sent him a letter.
EDDIE CALLAHAN:
(finishing his session)
Lumina...either I'm getting stronger, or you're getting soft!
LUMINA:
I am always in tip-top shape.
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
(taking Eddie's dowel rod, stepping into range)
Let me give it a try.
[Lumina chucks small Kendo Discs at Dimitri, who tries to swat them away with Eddie's dowel rod.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-DAY
[Octo talks to Yomatsu.]
OCTO:
Your mission, Yomatsu, is to target the Red Ranger.
YOMATSU:
How!? He is the strongest of the six!
OCTO:
(handing Yomatsu the snake-like device)
With this!
YOMATSU:
The Spirit Extinguisher!
[Yomatsu attaches the device to the side of her right arm, departs for the city.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Citizens run from the Kanizars as the team arrives.]
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
Leave them alone!
[The army of Kanizars switch their focus from the citizens to the unmorphed team members, who battle them with hand-to-hand combat. Once the minions begin to overpower the six, they feel the need to morph.]
ALL:
Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform!
RED KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Fire! Red Kendo Ranger!
BLUE KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Water! Blue Kendo Ranger!
PINK KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Air! Pink Kendo Ranger!
GREEN KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Wood! Green Kendo Ranger!
YELLOW KENDO RANGER:
(posing)
Spirit Of Earth! Yellow Kendo Ranger!
GOLD KENDO RANGER:

We Are The Protectors Of Earth! Power Rangers: Kendo Warriors!
RED KENDO RANGER:
Draw!
[The six rangers draw their primary weapons and charge in to battle the Kanizars. Meanwhile, in a tree above the fracas, Yomatsu makes her presence known.]
YOMATSU:
(laughing maniacally)
Ah, the puny Power Rangers! This should be easy!
[Yomatsu vanishes. She then reappears, and aims the Spirit Extinguisher at the Red Ranger, and blasts him.]
RED KENDO RANGER:
(reacting as he sparks and flails)
Whoa! What was that!?
[The Red Ranger sees the source of the blast...Yomatsu and her weapon as he tries to recover.]
That thing's got some kick to it!
[Yomatsu keeps firing the weapon at the Red Ranger, and the others notice.]
YOMATSU:
I am Yomatsu...welcome to your nightmare, Red Ranger!
GOLD KENDO RANGER:
She's targeting Dimitri!
BLUE KENDO RANGER:
We got to help him!
[As Yomastu stalks and blasts the Red Ranger again, the Blue Ranger tries his best to help the leader.]
RED KENDO RANGER:
You're gonna pay for that, Yomatsu!
[The Red Ranger recovers to his feet, and charges at the Aykasi with his Kendo Razor, but she vanishes.]
voice of YOMATSU:
(laughing)
You'll have to be quicker than that, mouse!
BLUE KENDO RANGER:
(on guard)
What did she mean by that?
RED KENDO RANGER:
(on guard)
She's the cat, and I am the mouse.
[Yomatsu reappears behind the two rangers, but the other rangers move in to surround the Red and Blue Rangers to protect them from another blast...but it is no use. The rangers roll on the ground and recover. The Red Ranger then summons the...]
Shogun Morpher! Spirit Of The Shogun Orikami!
[The Red Ranger powers up into his Shogun Ranger form.]
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
I've had enough of you, Yomatsu!
YOMATSU:
(as she blasts the Red Ranger)
Funny, the same could be said about you!
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
(thinking to himself)
I got to get her away from the others!
[The Red Ranger puts his plan into motion.]
Come get me!
[The Red Ranger runs away from the others to draw Yomatsu away from them...she follows.]
BLUE KENDO RANGER:
Dimitri!
PINK KENDO RANGER:
Wait!
[The five other rangers follow suit. Elsewhere in the park, the Red Ranger, armed with the Super Bullzooka is cautiously looking around for Yomatsu.]
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
Come out and fight, you coward!
YOMATSU:
(appearing before vanishing and reappearing in the sky behind the Red Ranger)
You are the one who is a coward...running away from your friends!
[Yomatsu blasts the Red Ranger in the back with her weapon. The Red Ranger flies backward, lands on his back.]
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
You're going down! Fire!
[The Red Ranger manages to squeeze off a shot from his Super Bullzooka during his forced de-morphing. Yomatsu is blasted out of the sky. She then recovers to her feet.]
YOMATSU:
Lucky shot, mouse!
[Yomatsu cackles in blue lightning bolts, then explodes. Everyone arrives, and rushes to check on a very battered, bruised, and cut-up Dimitri.]
YELLOW KENDO RANGER:
Dimitri!
[The Yellow Ranger looks very concerned.]
Dimitri! Say something!
[Yomatsu revives and grows as the other rangers prop Dimitri up against a tree.]
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
(weakly, as he gives the Shogun Morpher to the Blue Ranger)
Kick her butt for me!
BLUE KENDO RANGER:
(while taking the morpher from Dimitri)
You got it!
GOLD KENDO RANGER:
This one's for you!
[As Dimitri sends his Kendo Cell back to Paolo for safe-keeping, the five remaining rangers go to call on the Kendozords as Yomatsu towers over the city.]
BLUE SHOGUN RANGER:
(insta-morphed)
I Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami!
ALL RANGERS:
Kendozords...Spirit Fusion!
[The six primary Kendozords (lion, dragon, turtle, bear, monkey, and lobster) join together to form the...]
Kendo Superzord, Lockdown!
[The Superzord battles Yomatsu, who counters with her teleporting abilities. When the Superzord tries to cut her down, she attacks rapidly from all sides.]
GREEN KENDO RANGER:
She's too powerful!
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY
[Paolo receives Dimitri's Kendo Cell as a young woman with black hair, in her mid-thirties walks into the base (we see her from the back of her head only).]
WOMAN:
Hello, Father! It appears that I have arrived just in time.
[Paolo turns around and rushes to give the young woman a huge, happy hug.]
It is good to see you again...Talia!
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[The Kendo Superzord continues to struggle against Yomatsu's attacks. Suddenly, the Superzord cackles in blue lightning bolts before breaking apart into it's components.]
ALL RANGERS:
We lost the megazord!
[On the ground, Dimitri sees the Superzord breaking apart...a tear rolls down his bruised cheek. TO BE CONTINUED...]
