PREMIERE DATE SET FOR THE FOURTH NIGHTRANGER INDUSTRIES ONLINE NETWORK ENTRY INTO THE "POWER RANGERS" FRANCHISE, "POWER RANGERS: STAR GUARDIANS."
FRESNO, CA.-February 4, 2010...Even though the 'real' "Power Rangers" has ceased production, Production is progressing well on the fourth installment of "Power Rangers," "Power Rangers: Star Guardians" from The NightRanger Industries Online Network, led by Writer Christopher Clark.
All iterations of "Power Rangers" feature adventure, action, comedy, and drama wile teaching valuable lessons about the importance of teamwork. Stories are accented by the heroes' extraordinary powers, martial arts, acrobatics, special effects, and relatable characters that, in addition to the growing pains most people face, must work to triumph over evil.
"Power Rangers: Star Guardians" will premiere on the affiliantes of the NightRanger Industries Online (N.R.I.O.) Network on March 5, 2010. A 65(+) episode run is planned to allow for maximum character and story development. "Star Guardians" will be based upon the Japanese Super Sentai series "Tenso Sentai Goseijaa," which premieres on February 14, 2010 in Japan.
The preliminary story is that: Orbiting the planet Earth is a space station that is home to Space Command, an intergalactic peace-keeping force charged with protecting the galaxy from evil forces. When the evil Alliance from Onyx attacks the planet, Space Command recruits five of their most elite officers to form a special task force unit to combat the new threat...these five are the "Power Rangers: Star Guardians."
The starring cast will consist of: Taran Noah Smith ('Mark Taylor' on "Home Improvement") as Officer Heath Regan\Red Star Ranger...Remi Malek ('Pharoah' in "Night At The Museum") as Officer Diego Maxa\Black Star Ranger...Trey Smith (Will Smith's oldest son) as Aquitian Officer Aquios\Blue Star Ranger...Alessandra Toressani ("Battlestar Galactica") as Officer Melissa Crenshaw\Pink Star Ranger...Masiela Lusha ('Carmen Lopez' on "The George Lopez Show") as Officer Kyrie Maxa\Yellow Star Ranger…Joe Odagiri (Kamen Rider) as Captain Nathan Maxa…Jaimee Foxworth (“Family Matters”) as Lt. Cmdr. McKenna Cohen…and starring Chuck Norris ('Walker' on "Walker: Texas Ranger") as Admiral Gabe Crenshaw.
