EXT.-CITY-BEACH-DAY
[The Kendo Superzord destroys the last of the Ibizars. The Red and Gold Rangers set their eyes on Iod.]
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
Look!
GOLD KENDO RANGER:
Iod!
[A severely weakened Crustacea stumbles toward Iod, and bows at his feet.]
CRUSTACEA:
My lord!
IOD:
You have done well, Crustacea...but...it is time for you to rest...forever!
[The rangers watch in horror as Crustacea's Koda drops from her hand. Iod then absorbs Crustacea's body and spirit, and lets out a primal scream.]
The time has come for the final battle, Power Rangers!
[Iod then grows to his giant form. The Red and Gold Rangers command the Kendo Superzord.]
GOLD KENDO RANGER:
Lobster Swords!
RED SHOGUN RANGER AND GOLD KENDO RANGER:
Turbulence Slash!
[The attack has no effect as Iod makes the robot spark and smoke.]
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
Rangers! Come aboard!
[The other rangers enter the Kendo Superzord.]
We need to form the Ultrazord!
ALL RANGERS:
Kendozords, Spirit Fusion!
[The Kendo Superzord breaks apart as the other Kendozords arrive, and form the Kendo Ultrazord.]
Kendo Ultrazord, Full Power!
[The Kendo Ultrazord tries to battle the Stygian leader with it's sword, but he is way too powerful.]
Kendo Ultra Slice!
[The Kendo Ultrazord performs one of it's two finishers, but it too has no effect.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY
[Nala enters the base to warn Paolo about her troubling vision.]
NALA CALI:
Paolo!
[Nala tells Paolo, who seems somewhat concerned.]
PAOLO NOIMI:
I have faith in the rangers, Nala...they will do their best.
EXT.-CITY-BEACH-DAY
[The Kendo Ultrazord continues to battle Iod.]
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
Let's finish him!
ALL RANGERS:
Orikami Power Blast!
[The Kendo Ultrazord uses it's sword to interrupt the attack, and strikes the robot, making it spard and smoke as it loses power, ejecting the rangers. The robot breaks into it's components, and vanishes.]
IOD:
(as he shrinks back down)
You call yourselves Power Rangers? How pathetic!
GREEN KENDO RANGER:
He's too powerful!
PINK KENDO RANGER:
How can we defeat someone we can't even touch!?
RED SHOGUN RANGER:
I need to start drawing the Sealing Spell symbol. I need you five to buy me some time...Eddie...take the Dino Blade...and Cody...you take the Shogun Morpher.
[The Blue and Green Rangers take their borrowed weapons. Iod then delivers a blast of fire from his palm to attack the rangers.]
BLUE KENDO RANGER:
Spirit Of The Shogun Orikami!
GREEN KENDO RANGER:
Shinobi Power!
[The rangers charge through the flames, led by the Blue Shogun Ranger and the Green Shinobi Ranger to attack Iod, who rapidly whirls around them...the five rangers all go down ain a hail of sparks.]
IOD:
(as he tries to leave)
Weaklings! You cannot defeat me!
[The three male rangers try to stop the Stygian leader by holding him down. The Pink and Yellow Rangers follow suit, but it is no use. Iod flings the five off of him.]
RED KENDO RANGER:
(holding her Kendo Cell, giving herself a pep talk)
I must do this right!
[The Red Ranger starts to draw the first part of the symbol as Iod continues to pummel the other rangers, knocks the Gold Ranger down.]
IOD:
Ah, the mighty Gold Ranger!
[Iod puts his foot onto the chest of the Gold Ranger to hold him down. He uses his sword to try to destroy him, but Lumina flies around the Stygian leader to distract him, but is cut down in the process.]
GOLD KENDO RANGER:
Lumina!
[The Red Ranger continues to draw out the Sealing Spell symbol as the rangers (with the Gold Ranger using Lumina in Weapon Mode) use their Kendo Razors to charge at Iod. Meanwhile, Dimitri uses his personal Kendo Razor to take care of some Kanizars.]
BLUE SHOGUN RANGER:
Shogun Water Flow Sword!
GREEN SHINOBI RANGER:
(with the Dino Blade and his Kendo Razor)
Ancient Slice!
[The attack has no effect. In retaliation, Iod sends a blast of red energy bolts to envelop the rangers in a huge fireball, but they use their weapons to deflect the blast back to Iod.]
GREEN SHINOBI RANGER:
We got him!
YELLOW KENDO RANGER:
He's toast!
IOD:
(as he calmly walks through the flames)
Think again!
[The five rangers are in a state of shock.]
BLUE SHOGUN RANGER:
No, way!
[As the Red Ranger continues to draw the symbol, Iod blasts everyone with his "power breath." The Red Ranger is even hit, breaking the incomplete symbol. The Red Ranger is knocked off the cliff, and falls to the ground, knocking her out of morph...she is hurt badly.]
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
Come on! We gotta regroup!
[The Kendo Ranger team vanishes from the area.]
IOD:
Run! Run, you cowards!
[Iod retrieves Crustacea's robe as her Koda cries out for help. On his way back to the ship, Iod steps on the Koda to destroy it.]
Worthless little fuzz-ball!
[Iod vanishes through a hole, leading to Purgatory.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-NALA'S HUT-NIGHT
[Talia seems to be resting comfortably, all bandaged up as Paolo and Nala watch over her. Her rest is then disturbed as she plays back what just happened in her mind.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-NALA'S HUT-TALIA'S NIGHTMARE-NIGHT
[Talia recalls what happened in a nightmare.]
IOD:
(as he calmly walks through the flames)
Think again!
[The five rangers are in a state of shock.]
BLUE SHOGUN RANGER:
No, way!
[As the Red Ranger continues to draw the symbol, Iod blasts everyone with his "power breath." The Red Ranger is even hit, breaking the incomplete symbol. The Red Ranger is knocked off the cliff, and falls to the ground, knocking her out of morph...she is hurt badly.]
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
Come on! We gotta regroup!
[The Kendo Ranger team vanishes from the area.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-NALA'S HUT-NIGHT
[Talia wakes up in a cold sweat.]
TALIA NOIMI:
(regretfully)
Father...I failed in my mission to seal Iod.
PAOLO NOIMI:
Don't worry...there will be another chance.
TALIA NOIMI:
I want to speak with Dimitri...privately.
PAOLO NOIMI:
I will go get him for you.
[As Paolo leaves the hut, Talia lays her head back, and weaps.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT
[The team all have been bandaged up, and sit around, recovering and talking. Paolo enters the room to get Dimitri for Talia.]
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
(noticing Paolo)
Paolo?
PAOLO NOIMI:
Your mother would like to talk to you in Nala's hut.
[The two depart the base.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-NALA'S HUT-NIGHT
[Dimitri and Paolo enter. Paolo then leaves with Nala.]
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
Grandfather said that you wanted to talk to me?
TALIA NOIMI:
Yes...you know...that last battle made me think. I saw you with the other rangers, battle Iod as I tried to draw the Sealing Spell symbol...and...I think that it is time for you to take this back.
[Talia presents Dimitri with the Red Ranger's Kendo Cell.]
DIMITRI FEDOROV:
Are you sure, mother?
TALIA NOIMI:
Yes! It is time! It's time for you to be the Red Ranger again.
[Talia forcefully grabs Dimitri's hand, and places the Kendo Cell into it.]
INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-NIGHT
[Octo is a bit nervous as Iod returns. He then casts Crustacea's robe into the river.]
OCTO:
Where is Crustacea?
IOD:
That weakling was absorbed...by me! It is time for the final battle with the rangers.
OCTO:
Well...it is about time!
IOD:
Yes...it is time to prepare for the final onslaught. But, I need some time to prepare...send the final Aykasi to the city.
OCTO:
With pleasure!
[Gumagu comes aboard the ship to receive his assignment, then departs.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY
[The next morning, a recovered Talia enters the base.]
TALIA NOIMI:
My friends...I am resigning as the Red Ranger.
CODY EGAWA:
(angered)
Right now is not the time, Talia!
TALIA NOIMI:
But it is the time, Cody.
MEGAN NOIMI:
Well, sis...who is your replacement?
[The team waits in awe of who will replace Talia as the Red Ranger. TO BE CONTINUED...]
