INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[The five crewmen are sitting around the table, playing cards.]

COLIN SCOTT:
One pair.

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Two pair.

KERI SCHMIDT:
Three pair.

BROCK CRANSTON:
(feeling confident)
Four of a kind.

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Got you all beat...

[DeAndre lays his cards out on the table.]

BROCK CRANSTON:
No way! A royal straight flush! Never seen one of those before!

[Colin gets frustrated, and calls for another game. Suddenly, the alarm rings out, and the ship shakes violently. The crew sees the problem...a fleet of Zangyu ships!]

EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The Hero Megazord in it's Mystic Mode is in the midst of battle, and takes out several ships.]

BLUE HERO RANGER:
(seeing a green ship)
Wait! Don't fire on that green ship!

RED HERO RANGER:
Why?

INT.-CITY-GREEN FLEET SHIP-BRIDGE-DAY
[A red and green Scallywag commander, YAKUBRI is seen shuffling his own deck of cards.]

EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The Green Fleet ship then cloaks.]

BLUE HERO RANGER:
That ship is from the Zangyu Green Fleet...of their Special Forces. It is more than likely carrying very explosive fuel cells.

YELLOW HERO RANGER:
How explosive?

BLUE HERO RANGER:
Enough to take out the entire planet.

INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Shireikan reports to Prince Kraken.]

SHIREIKAN:
Sire...the Special Forces commander has reached the staging area.

PRINCE KRAKEN:
Excellent!

KYATSU:
Taking over the planet will be a snap with the Gigari-filled weapons on board.

PRINCE KRAKEN:
Proceed with the next phase of the plan.

SANBO:
Wouldn't the volatility of the Gigari defeat the purpose of taking over the Earth?

PRINCE KRAKEN:
(yelling)
Shut up, Sanbo!

INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[DeAndre talks to the team, and tells of the Gigari Fuel Cell.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
The Gigari Fuel Cell can be used to power various types of weapons. If placed into the Gigarizooka, it can scorch the entire planet with just one shot. I want to steal their payload to protect the planet.

KERI SCHMIDT:
And I want you and me to carry out the job.

EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[The Blue and Yellow Rangers spot the ship, and utilize their Overdrive Keys to transform into Overdrive Rangers. The two use their OO Zip Shooters to get closer to the ship, then use them again to get onto the ship.]

INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Colin, Brock, and Nikki continue to play cards.]

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Do you think those two are okay?

COLIN SCOTT:
They'll be fine. One pair!

BROCK CRANSTON AND NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Three pair!

[Colin is still miffed that he lost again.]

INT.-CITY-GREEN FLEET SHIP-DAY
[DeAndre and Keri sneak through the ship. DeAndre warns the over-eager Keri.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Keri...there will be several guards in this sector. We can't be over-eager.

[The two duck behind a pillar, then reveal their poorly-made Foiler costumes, complete with bucket helmets. The two test their costumes on two real Foilers, then proceed to the weapons room.]

The Gigari Fuel Cell should be in here.

[The two take off their helmets, and open the door to peek in. Inside, the room, two Foilers guard one Gigari Fuel Cell. In the hallway, the two put their helmets back on as two Scurvies enter the area. The two Scurvies escort the two "Foilers" to a cargo area for a game of cards. Keri sits down, and will play the two Scurvies, and wins the first hand.]

INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[The trio continue to play cards.]

COLIN SCOTT:
I have a gut feeling that those two are going to be okay...and that I will win this hand. One pair!

BROCK CRANSTON AND NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Three pair.

[Colin is still frustrated that he keeps on losing.]

COLIN SCOTT:
Maybe we should go and help them.

INT.-CITY-GREEN FLEET SHIP-DAY
[Keri continues to win, which news of the winning streak spreads throughout the ship, and attracts a crowd of on-looking Foilers. As the weapons room guards leave the room, Colin, Brock, and Nikki sneak into the room, and take the fuel cell, but leave something in return...a bomb.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
We need to hurry, Keri!

KERI SCHMIDT:
One more hand, "D."

[Keri deals, but is caught by the Scallywag, Yakubri, and her scheme with cheating has been revealed.]

YAKUBRI:
Ah, the popular new card players that are on my ship. Looks like you two have been caught red-handed...

[A couple Foilers take them captive, with a couple more taking off their bucket-helmets.]

Or should I say caught blue and yellow-handed!

[Yakubri then reveals that Keri has been cheating.]

Quite a little scam that you two have pulled on my crew. I have to give you props though, sneaking aboard my ship alone. How about a game of chance...if you two defeat me, I'll let you go. But if I win...You two will surrender, and I will collect your bounties.

KERI SCHMIDT:
Agreed.

[Keri tries to deal the cards, but Yakubri tells her that he'll deal, and performs his own special cutting technique.]

DeAndre...you will play him. You're better than me at cards.

[DeAndre and Yakubri sit and start to play, but the Scallywag digs down into the deck to draw.]

Now you are the one who's cheating!

YAKUBRI:
(in denial)
Cheating? Guys...am I cheating?

[The Foilers and Scurvies deny the claims.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
A bunch of "yes men."

YAKUBRI:
You losing was all a part of the plan, rangers!

[Yakubri then throws down four eights. DeAndre starts turning over his five cards...revealed are a Ten, a Jack, a Queen, a King, and then reveals his last card...an Ace.]

A royal straight flush! I lost!!!???

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
I won!!!???

[DeAndre and Keri celebrate while Yakubri is fuming.]

KERI SCHMIDT:
I guess we'll take our leave, now.

YAKUBRI:
Not so fast! Foilers...take them!

[Suddenly, a Foiler goes down just as the Scallywag orders the attack. Behind DeAndre and Keri are the other three Galleon crewmen...Colin, Brock, and Nikki.]

COLIN SCOTT:
Neat trick, huh?

[The three shed their disguises, and Brock reveals that he has the fuel cell.]

BROCK CRANSTON:
Looking for this?

[The teens insert their keys, and turn them.]

ALL TEENS:
It's Morphin' Time!

voice of MORPHER:
Hero Power!

[The suits "full-form" over the quintet.]

YAKUBRI:
Get them!

[The Red Ranger uses his Crossbone Musket to blast at the feet of the Foilers.]

GREEN HERO RANGER:
(revealing a detonator remote)
If I were you losers, I would abandon ship.

[The Green Ranger presses the button to activate the bomb in the weapons room.]

EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[The five rangers make their escape as the ship explodes. Yakubri, along with the Scurvies and several Foilers land as well, and complain.]

YAKUBRI:
You may have blown up my ship, but I will have that fuel cell back!

[The Green Ranger tosses the fuel cell to the Red Ranger, who then tosses it up into the air.]

RED HERO RANGER:
Navix!

[The robotic parrot flies in, and takes the fuel cell in her talons and flies off. The Foilers charge at the rangers with their weapons, forcing the rangers to use theirs, and trade some for a "sword\blaster close-combat" battle. The Yellow Ranger combines her two Crossbone Cutlasses for double-bladed action. The Green Ranger jumps out of some stray (and still has some in his belt). The Red Ranger goes after Yakubri with his musket and cutlass, and battles the Scallywag to knock him down with a couple kicks. Yakubri recovers to his feet, and reveals several playing cards to throw at the rangers to make them spark.]

Let's change things up a bit!

[The five rangers open their belt buckles to reveal their Royal Ranger keys, and place them into their morphers.]

voice of HERO MORPHER:
Royal Power!

[The five become the Red, Blue, Green, Pink, and White Royal Rangers. Some of Yakubri's cards are deflected back at him, and stick to him, making the Scallywag cackle in blue energy bolts, and sparks. The five rangers take charge of pieces of a cannon, and the White Ranger brings in a small missile, to launch through the cannon/ The shot from the cannon destroys two Scurvies. The Royal Rangers return to their Hero Ranger forms, and take hold of their primary weapons when the cannon pieces turn into them.]

RED HERO RANGER:
Let's take them down!

[The rangers insert their Hero Ranger Power Keys into their weapons.]

ALL RANGERS:
Hero Wave!

[The Pink and Green Rangers blast their muskets followed by the Blue and Yellow Rangers slicing their cutlasses. The Red Ranger fires his musket, then slices with his cutlass. Yakubri cackles in blue energy bolts as he collapses and explodes. The Red Ranger readies his morpher as the Scallywag is hit by the pink revival beam, and grows.]

Hero Megazord!

[Yakubri faces off with the megazord and it's Dual Heroic Sabers. The Scallywag deals some more of his explosive cards at the megazord to make it spark.]

RED HERO RANGER:
Now...do you want to really risk blowing this thing up?

YAKUBRI:
The Gigari Fuel Cell!

RED HERO RANGER:
(as the megazord throws it into space)
Catch!

EXT.-OUTER SPACE-DAY
[The fuel cell blows up in front of the Stampeder and a watching Prince Kraken.]

voice of PRINCE KRAKEN:
Destroy those rangers!

EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The rangers insert their Wild Force keys, and turn them.]

ALL RANGERS:
‭Power Keys...Locked In...‬Wildzord, descend!

[As the summoning tune is heard, the Lion Wildzord comes down from the Animarium, and combines with the Hero Megazord to form it's...]

‭Hero Megazord, Wild Mode!

‭[The five rangers turn the keys again.]

‭Heroic Mega Roar!

‭[The megazord blasts the Scallywag with a breath of fire from the Lion Wildzord's mouth as it delivers an "X" cut with it's swords to make Yakubri explode into a massive fireball. The rangers celebrate as the megazord continues to gallop through the streets, then turns around to watch the destruction.]

‭INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-NIGHT
‭[The five crewmen continue to play cards.]

‭COLIN SCOTT:
One pair.

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Two pair.

KERI SCHMIDT:
Three pair.

BROCK CRANSTON:
(feeling confident)
Four of a kind.

[DeAndre lays his cards out on the table.]

COLIN SCOTT:
(frustrated)
Again!

NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: THE NEXT GENERATION...

Episode #14. Altered
Upon the suggestion of their parents, the team researches their heritage on the ship's computer. When the Zangyu sends a Scallywag to use it's powers of hypnosis against the rangers, it is up to Navix to help them realize reality.
