EXT.-TEMPLE-DAY
[DeAndre is practicing with two Crossbone Cutlasses as Nikki and Brock watch. DeAndre comes to a stop as Brock gets up to approach him, but accidentally trips up on a raised brick. DeAndre tosses one of his swords in front of Brock so he can use it to catch himself.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
You did that to protect these flowers?
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
I did that to help you, man.
[Brock recovers, and pulls the sword out of the ground. Suddenly, the morphers beep.]
voice of NAVIX:
A very large Zangyu ship has showed up!
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
We’re on our way!
EXT.-RIO MESA-DAY
[The Hero Megazord lands in the city with it’s Dual Heroic Swords drawn, and battles some Scurvies with them.
ALL RANGERS:
Power Bomber!
[The megazord charges up the Hero Cannon, and fires the cannonballs at the Scurvies to destroy one of them. The rangers then insert their S.P.D. Power Keys to form the megazord’s Delta Mode.]
Hero Megazord...Delta Mode! Delta Sniper...Full Blast!
[The megazord blasts another Scurvy to destroy it. The rangers then insert their Mystic Power Keys.]
Hero Megazord...Mystic Mode! Mystic Bind!
[The megazord destroys the final Scurvy, and poses victoriously when the Scurvy explodes.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[A very angry Prince Kraken takes out his frustrations on his Foiler crew.]
SANBO:
Calm down, sire...
PRINCE KRAKEN:
Calm down? I don’t think so! Those rangers are a constant thorn in my side! I’ve lost countless Scallywags and battles to them!
SHIREIKAN:
Last count...
PRINCE KRAKEN:
Don’t you dare count up our losses! I want a new strategy to defeat those rangers, and rule the Earth!
INT.-RIO MESA-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Colin wants the next clue from Navix, who flies around, and drops into Nikki’s hand.]
NAVIX:
Beware of the Samurai.
[The crew looks a bit confused.]
EXT.-RIO MESA-PARK-DAY
[The five crewmen look for Samurai warriors, and come across a Kendo Club.]
COLIN SCOTT:
Excuse me...we’re looking for a Samurai warrior.
INSTRUCTOR:
We’re not really Samurai...but we are trying to keep their tradition alive.
[The team walks away to continue their search, but DeAndre watches the club members spar. He is mesmerized at the swordsmanship of the members, and makes him remember his past.]
FLASHBACK:
[DeAndre and a friend, Ray Chacon practice against some Foilers...but DeAndre gets more than he bargained for, and gets roughed up by the minions. Ray then shows DeAndre a technique that he perfected.]
EXT.-RIO MESA-PARK-DAY
[The others notice DeAndre as the Kendo Club dismisses. Soon, the sound of banging drums gets everyone’s attention. Soon, people in black robes appear with white backdrops on poles. Soon, Talia Noimi and her father, Paolo appear.]
PAOLO NOIMI:
Hero Rangers! I present my daughter, Talia...the Princess of the Orikami...and formally the Red Kendo Ranger!
KERI SCHMIDT:
A Samurai...and the former Red Kendo Ranger!?
BROCK CRANSTON:
Kendo!?
TALIA NOIMI:
I will get straight to the point, rangers. We need the Kendo Ranger Power Keys.
COLIN SCOTT:
I will straight to your answer...not a chance! At least...not until our mission is finished.
TALIA NOIMI:
Then you give me no choice...
[An assistant hands Talia a Kendo Razor.]
...I must take them by force!
[Talia charges in to slice and dice at Colin, who dodges her attack moves. Soon, Colin has his Crossbone Musket behind his back, and is prepared to fire on the young royal. Seeing this, Nikki gets in the middle, asking for calmness.]
COLIN SCOTT:
She’s the one that came out swinging!
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Hold it...I will duel her. My cutlass to her sword. It will be a fair duel.
[The two sides agree.]
EXT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-DAY
[A ship pulls up alongside the Stampeder, and docks via connecting moorings.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Intruder alarms ring out and chaos ensues. The four villains wonder what is going on as Foilers mobilize by the doors. A blue, quad-horned Scallywag called DELZEI enters, tossing around the Foiler guards as he attacks them. Shireikan then goes sword-to-sword with the Scallywag.]
PRINCE KRAKEN:
Ah, Delzei...my fathers chief general! Welcome to my vessel!
DELZEI:
Sire! Your father sent me to see if you needed any assistance against those pesky Power Rangers! Sanbo hasn’t done that yet...what a pity.
PRINCE KRAKEN:
We can use the assistance, Delzei. You, Shireikan and I will go down to the surface with a platoon of Foilers and Scurvies.
SANBO:
Sire, are you sure that is a wise choice? Sir...if anything should happen to you...
PRINCE KRAKEN:
Your concern is noted, Sanbo. But I think we’ll be fine.
EXT.-RIO MESA-PARK-DAY
[Talia and DeAndre prepare to duel as Paolo and the rest of the crew watches.]
TALIA NOIMI:
Why am I facing you and not your leader?
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Because...I am the swordsman of the crew.
[Talia gives a concerned look of “oh, crap!.]
Besides...if he faced you, someone will get seriously hurt.
TALIA NOIMI:
If I win...I get the Kendo Ranger Power Keys.
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
And If i win, you will divulge the power of the Kendo Rangers.
[The two face each other with their swords drawn, then charge into the duel. The two battle for a couple minutes until a fleet of Zangyu ships...including the Stampeder come within view, and start blasting the city.]
TALIA NOIMI:
We’ll continue this duel later. Right now...
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Right!
[Talia runs toward the Industrial Zone, followed by Paolo and the Galleon crew.]
EXT.-RIO MESA-INDUSTRIAL ZONE-DAY
[Talia goes in slicing at the Foilers, and does well as Paolo assists in getting citizens to safety. She then witnesses a blue transport beam, and the teleportation arrival of the two generals, Delzei, and the platoon of Foilers and Scurvies.]
PRINCE KRAKEN:
I am Prince Kraken...heir to the Zangyu throne! Your puny planet shall belong to the Zangyu!
[Paolo and everyone else look on in utter shock. Soon, the unmorphed rangers arrive blasting their Crossbone Muskets, forcing Shireikan to act as a shield to protect Kraken.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Ah, the King’s idiot son!
[The Foilers charge in to battle the unmorphed rangers, who then follow suit. During their fight, the five morph one-by-one. Soon, the Scurvies are sent in to join the fracas. After defeating the minions, the five rangers face the two villains and their Scallywag.]
DELZEI:
I will face these power pukes, sire!
[Delzei walks calmly to toward the rangers with his sword drawn. The five then change into the Morphin Ranger suits, and utilize the Power Weapons against the Scallywag and his sword. The rangers try their best with their weapons, but Delzei is just way too powerful. The rangers try attacking individually, but it is no use.]
PRINCE KRAKEN:
This is fun! I get to see a dream come true.,..the fall of the last remaining Power Rangers!
RED MORPHIN RANGER:
You can’t get rid of us that easily!
DELZEI:
We’ll see about that!
[The rangers regroup, and use the Nuclear Ranger Power Keys to transform, and use a team attack, but it is no use as Delzei deflects the attack with his sword. The rangers struggle to recover, then use the Galaxy Ranger Power Keys to transform. The Rangers charge in to melee-battle Delzei as the Blue Ranger goes for Kraken and Shireikan with his Cosma Claw...unfortunately, he is met by Shireikan’s sword.]
SHIREIKAN:
I am the warrior general of Prince Kraken...Shireikan!
[Shireikan and the Blue Ranger get into a blade battle. A couple strikes from the general’s sword makes the Blue Galaxy Ranger power down back into the Blue Hero Ranger. Meanwhile, Delzei keeps overpowering the others, forcing them back into their default forms. They recover, and charge back in for more. Meanwhile, the Blue Ranger continues to battle Shireikan, sword-to-sword. Soon, the general performs the same sword maneuver as Ray’s.]
BLUE HERO RANGER:
No, way! That’s Ray’s move!
[The energy from the maneuver strikes the Blue Ranger, and throws him backward to the ground, and knocked out of morph, rolling in a considerable amount of pain.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Ray!
[A bewildered and shocked DeAndre quickly recovers to his feet,]
SHIREIKAN:
You must be mistaken, Blue Ranger! I don’t know any Ray!
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
There’s no mistake about it...you are Ray Chacon! My mentor! The one who taught me swordsmanship!
PRINCE KRAKEN:
(laughing)
Actually, Shireikan is the traitor Ray Chacon! I had him reconfigured into a mindless cyborg, and wiped his pitiful human memory clean! All in order to serve the Zangyu Empire!
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Why, you!
PRINCE KRAKEN:
Destroy him!
SHIREIKAN:
Yes, sire!
[The Red Ranger notices DeAndre just standing there in shock as Shireikan gets ready to skewer him.]
RED HERO RANGER:
DeAndre!
[Shireikan swings his sword, but the Red Ranger tries to protect DeAndre, and takes the blow meant for him.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Colin?
[The blow strikes the Red Ranger, who yells in pain as he is forced out of morph. Colin summons his strength in order to blindly fire his musket at the Zangyu. Shireikan takes multiple hits as he tries to block Kraken, but one shot ricochets, and hits the prince in his arm to make him bleed blue blood. Shireikan’s sword goes flying as Kraken orders the Stampeder to get them out of there.]
DELZEI:
(as Kraken is going insane)
Stampeder...get us out of here! Kraken’s been hit!
[As the Zangyu retreat, Colin collapses into DeAndre’s arms. The four grieve a bit as their leader is seriously injured.’]
BROCK CRANSTON:
Let’s get him back to the ship!
[As Brock, Keri, and Nikki work on evacuating Colin, DeAndre is taking it pretty rough.]
INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-NIGHT
[The four crewmen help a bandaged Colin onto the couch to lay down. Talia and Paolo used a special medication creme to help with sword wounds, and now must rest.]
NIKKII BUCHANAN:
Thank you for your assistance, your majesty...but why?
TALIA NOIMI:
If we did not help, it would be...inhumane.
[After making sure that Colin would be okay, DeAndre goes up to the crow’s nest to think.]
EXT.-RIO MESA-GALLEON-CROW’S NEST-NIGHT
[DeAndre is deep in thought, and relives what Kraken said about Shireikan, and also visions of his past with Ray.]
INT.-RIO MESA-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Keri comes downstairs with a written note.]
KERI SCHMIDT:
Guys! DeAndre’s gone!
[The rest of the ship’s inhabitants pay attention as Keri shows off the note, which reads “There is something I must take care of alone..."D”]
EXT.-RIO MESA-DAY
[DeAndre walks down a walkway. TO BE CONTINUED...]

Episode #16. Warrior-In-Blue (2)
DeAndre finds Shireikan's sword as the cyborg arrives to reclaim his weapon. Later, he goes back to help after Talia gives him a Kendo Disc to even the odds. The gathered team assume the forms of the Kendo Rangers to defeat Delzei, then destroyed by the new Kendo Mode of the Hero Megazord.
