INT.-CITY-RESTAURANT-DAY
[Tyson plays with the straw in his glass of iced team while deep in thought, staring into space.]
DARIC KAYSON:
He wants to perfect Chikyu's Air Razor attack...but something is holding him back.
[Suddenly, two men in dark suits and dark sunglasses walk in, and confront the team. Tyson turns around, and spots a lapel pin on one of the men. The two then step apart as a woman walks between them.]
TYSON KIRKLAND:
(recognizing the logo on the pin)
That pin! Guys!
TYSON KIRKLAND:
(surprised and shocked)
Mom!?
MIKO INOUE:
Mom!? Your mother is the famous fashion designer, Keri Kirkland!?
[Keri is dressed to the nines in the latest fashion attire.]
KERI KIRKLAND:
So...you guys are those crazy superhero kids that my son is running around with.
TYSON KIRKLAND:
Mom...we are trying to save the world!
KERI KIRKLAND:
Well...you don't have to worry about harsh sword training or fighting monsters anymore.
[Keri then drags Tyson away from the others.]
MIKO INOUE:
Wait!
[When the others try to stop Keri, they are stopped by the two dark suits, and Keri throws a bundle of money onto the table.]
KERI KIRKLAND:
Here...this should compensate you.
[The others follow the Kirklands outside.]
EXT.-CITY-RESTAURANT-DAY
[A figure in a black cloak watches the activity from beside a large tree. The cloak has the Davros symbol on it.]
INT.-CITY-KIRKLAND RANCH DOJO-DAY
[Ken breaks the news to Ryan, who is extremely livid.]
RYAN KIRKLAND:
(yelling)
She did what!!!???
INT.-SACRED GROUND-DAY
[Chris tells the team about an article he read on Keri Kirkland.]
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
Tyson's mom is a rich fashion designer.
MIKO INOUE:
Yeah...she came into the restaurant, and just dragged him away.
ROBBIE MENDOZA:
She even took out legal papers to keep Ryan away from him.
CHIKYU:
Where is he now?
DARIC KAYSON:
At his mom's office building in Downtown. I talked to her a bit ago...she wants to talk to the one responsible for the team.
CHIKYU:
I will talk with her.
[Ken teleports in, tells the team about Ryan.]
KEN FERRADAY:
This is quite a mess. Ryan is going to try to get Tyson back.
[Suddenly, Chikyu's "Davro-Sense" goes off.]
CHIKYU:
Talk about bad timing! You guys take care of the Davros. I will go deal with Tyson's parents.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Citizens flee in fear from a blasting Ixilon. When the team shows up, Ixilon surprises everyone.]
IXILON:
D'Gol. Fight for me!
[D'Gol stands in front of Ixilon, faces the five main team members ready to attack. Ixilon touches an item on his forearm, which makes the green band-like items on D'Gol's horns glow, and make D'Gol cackle in yellow energy bolts, making him scream in agonizing pain, surprising the quintet. Ken notices the bands.]
KEN FERRADAY:
He's under Ixilon's control!?
D'GOL:
MaZoDe! Attack!
ALL:
(as the MaZoDe blast at them)
Let's Rock!
[The blasts ricochet off of the morphers as the suits form over the bodies of the five.]
INT.-CITY-KIRKLAND DESIGNS-OFFICE-DAY
[Ryan forces his way into his ex-wife's offices, only to see Tyson all "gussied" up, and not looking very happy.]
RYAN KIRKLAND:
What is the meaning of this, Keri!? You barge in all of a sudden after nearly fifteen years, and just take him!?
KERI KIRKLAND:
You were the one to drive us apart...all the sword-fighting nonsense.
TYSON KIRKLAND:
Mom...Dad...Stop fighting! I'm not a kid anymore. I am twenty years old...which makes me an adult! I want you two to talk like civilized human beings.
KERI KIRKLAND:
I want you to have a good job...and to forget the sword nonsense and fighting monsters.
RYAN KIRKLAND:
That was a path chosen by Tyson...not me.
TYSON KIRKLAND:
Dad...how'd you?
RYAN KIRKLAND:
Know? You can thank your friends Daric and Ken. Keri...our son is a Power Ranger. Sworn to save the world!
[Soon, Chikyu teleports in.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The five rangers continue their battle with the MaZoDe, and are overpowered a bit.]
BLUE PALEO RANGER:
Do they seem a bit stronger than usual?
RED PALEO RANGER:
It's because Davros is on the verge of reawakening!
[The core four go Jurassic as Aigar and Lukuro watch. Aigar then sees the black-cloaked figure watching as well.]
INT.-CITY-KIRKLAND DESIGNS-OFFICE-DAY
[The human-looking Chikyu introduces herself to the two Kirkland parents.]
CHIKYU:
I am Chikyu,,,the team's commander and founder. Tyson. I am proud of your accomplishments as the Green Paleo Ranger. You have come a long way since I asked you to help me save the world. I am the embodiment of this planet. Please consider Tyson's feelings, and stop using him as a bargaining chip. It is his father's training that is helping him fight as a ranger.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The rangers continue to fight D'Gol and the MaZoDe.]
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
D'Gol! Have you given up on your own pride!? You're working for your sworn enemy!? I thought you were better than that...stronger than that! Snap out of it!
D'GOL:
Maybe.
[D'Gol uses his sword to electrocute the Gold Ranger, engulfing him in explosions, and is sent rolling.]
Thanks for reminding me. I am a parasite...with the need to leech of of others.
[As the others catch up to the Gold Ranger, Ixilon and the MaZoDe catch up to D'Gol. Aigar and Lukuro are in shock...see that D'Gol is weaker now.]
INT.-CITY-KIRKLAND DESIGNS-OFFICE-DAY
[We need to apologize to Tyson...for putting him in the middle of all this. Suddenly, the black-cloaked being appears, and uses the sorrow from the Kirkland parents to turn them into blue orbs, and capture them.]
TYSON KIRKLAND:
You! You're the one I saw at the restaurant this morning!
CHIKYU:
How was I not able to sense him!? Of course! His cloaked form!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Tyson fires his blaster to hit the cloaked figure in the back. The impact forces the being to release the Kirklands...but he grabs the parent with the most sorrow...Ryan.]
TYSON KIRKLAND:
(while rushing to his mother's side)
My dad has the most sorrow?
[Tyson immediately flashed back to the day his mom left his father. Tyson sees Ryan's kendo stick and picks it up.]
Verde Air Razor!
[The attack hits the cloaked being to force him to release Ryan. Both parents then praise their son.]
I did it!
[The cloaked being erupts in sparks and cackles in green energy bolts, then leaps upward to make his escape. Tyson returns the kendo stick to his father.]
I believe this is yours, father. Mom...I need to use the sword-fighting skills that dad taught me in order to save the world. When this is all done...I will have more time for both of you.
[A huge explosion erupts from another part of the city.]
For now...Earth needs me.
[Tyson grabs his Paleo Charger, and inserts it into his blaster.]
Let's Rock!
[Tyson closes the weapon, and fires it into the air. The Green Ranger suit forms over his body as his parents look on in amazement. The Green Ranger then departs the area to go join the others. Elsewhere in the city, the Green Ranger leaps in to join the others. After a brief reunion, the rangers get ready for another round of fighting.]
RED PALEO RANGER:
Good to have you back, Tyson. Ready to rock their world?
GREEN PALEO RANGER:
Yeah...and I have a something new to show you all.
D'GOL:
Cambeasts!
[Two Cambeasts and the MaZoDe charge at the rangers...with Green charging as well, with gusto. The Green Ranger goes to work slicing and dicing the minions, even as they blast at him.]
GREEN PALEO RANGER:
Get a load of this! Verde...Air...Razor!
[The minions all erupt in sparks, and cackle in green energy bolts before exploding in a massive fireball. The Silver Ranger joins the six rangers.]
BLACK PALEO RANGER:
That's some hot stuff there, kiddo!
SILVER PALEO RANGER:
Excellent work, Tyson!
RED CARNIVORE RANGER:
(while instantly upgrading into his Battlized form)
CarniBlaster!
[The Red Ranger tries to fire a Victory-Max blast at Ixilon...but D'Gol steps in to shield his "master." D'Gol takes the hit, and sinks to his knees with everyone, except for Ixilon looking on in shock. Ixilon presses the device on his forearm to make D'Gol enlarge.]
IXILON:
You see, rangers...those rings on his horns have Master Davros' DNA on them,,,and with this controller...he is my slave now.
[Ixilon vanishes from the city as the six main rangers form the DinoMax Megazord. D'Gol uses his sword to try and fry the megazord, but the robot flies around to dodge the attack. Both D'Gol and the megazord charge in to battle each other in a swordfight, and sparks fly. The DinoMax unleashes a fire blast from Tyranno's mouth.]
ALL RANGERS:
DinoMax...Brave Finish!
[D'Gol splits from his Cambeast host, which then takes the hit. The Cambeast cackles in red energy bolts, and explodes. The rangers see D'Gol's mask fly upward.]
D'GOL:
I will live to fight another day, rangers! See 'ya!
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
Have you forsaken your pride, D'Gol!?
INT.-ANTARCTICA-FROZEN CASTLE-DAY
[D'Gol enters, followed by Aigar and Lukuro.]
D'GOL:
Don't worry about me. You two better be worried about yourselves. We have a couple new faces on the team.
[The black cloaked being and a trumpet-playing white cloaked being show themselves. The two then take their place after the white being stops playing Candelira's Song of Joy.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[The Silver Ranger praises the team as she powers down. The Kirklands approach, and thank Chikyu.]
KERI KIRKLAND:
Thank you, Chikyu.
RYAN KIRKLAND:
Please continue to watch over our son and his friends for us.
[Soon, the two walk away from the area side-by-side.]
