INT.-REEFSIDE-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Before getting underway, Navix has a vision.]
NAVIX:
A skateboarding lion approaches.
KIERAN OLIVER:
(consulting his encyclopedia)
A skateboarding lion...it could be Jorge Ortega...the former Yellow Beast Ranger...who is a scientist and an avid skateboarder.
[Kieran shows the crew his picture (a morphed Yellow Beast Ranger riding a skateboard).]
COLIN SCOTT:
And just where is this skateboarding lion located?
KIERAN OLIVER:
Not a clue...but I suggest the nearest city to Academi Island...Avalon, on the island of Catalina.
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Kraken is happy to be rid of his cold, and has come up with a scheme while he was down.]
PRINCE KRAKEN:
I am happy to be finally rid of that blasted cold! While I was down, I came up with a most diabolical plan!
[Suddenly, the Zangyu scientist, Zayen enters the room, circles around Shireikan.]
Oh, Zayen! What brings you here?
ZAYEN:
I came to check on my creation.
PRINCE KRAKEN:
I just came up with another idea, and you are going to lead it, Zayen.
ZAYEN:
I would be my pleasure, sire!
ENT.-CATALINA ISLAND-AVALON-DAY
[The six crewmen split up into three groups of two in search of the skateboarding lion. Colin and Brock see a teen boy performing some awesome skateboarding tricks.]
COLIN SCOTT:
Hey...are you a skateboarding lion?
[The teen boy has no clue what he is talking about, and leaves the area. Meanwhile, Kieran and Keri look around a playground, and see a pair of skateboarding kids. Keri moves toward the kids, but Kieran stops her.]
KERI SCHMIDT:
Kids could be rangers too!
KIERAN OLIVER:
I know...that was the Blue Turbo Ranger...but the Beast Rangers were all teenage scientists...so, Jorge’s got to be about thirty by now.
EXT.-CATALINA ISLAND-AVALON-PLAZA-DAY
[DeAndre and Nikki survey the area...but do not see any skateboarders.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
I do not see any skateboarders around here.
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
You’re right!
[Suddenly, an accident occurs, and a stroller is sent down some steps with a baby still inside.]
TEDDY’S MOTHER:
(in anguish)
Teddy!
[From the top, DeAndre and Nikki rush in to help, with DeAndre going down the steps, while from below, a man sees the trouble, and rushes up the steps to help. Both men catch the stroller at the same time, then check the youngster’s welfare. Nikki and the mother approach to reunite the mother and infant son. The man realizes that there many be more to DeAndre and Nikki than he thinks. After the rescue, the three walk and talk.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
I’m Nikki, and this is DeAndre.
JORGE ORTEGA:
I’m go by the name Joe.
[The trio then sees citizens running out of the nearby arena in fear, and they run in to see what the problem is.]
INT.-AVALON-PLAZA-ARENA-DAY
[Inside, Zayen and a platoon of Foilers hold a boxer hostage. The trio enters the arena.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Stay here!
[The duo readies their Hero Morphers and Power Keys.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR AND NIKKI BUCHANAN:
It’s Morphin’ Time!
[The Blue and Pink Hero Ranger suits “flash-form” over the duo, who then charge in blasting and slicing against the Foilers.]
JORGE ORTEGA:
Rangers! Now I get it!
[Jorge rushes in to help the boxer, and holds his own against the Foilers, with Zayen getting angry at the trio.]
ZAYEN:
You rangers always get in the way! Three years ago, and today...you rangers continue to be a thorn in the side of the Zangyu Empire!
BLUE HERO RANGER:
And for good reason!
[The two insert their Electro Ranger Keys into their morphers, and change-up into the Blue and Pink Electro Rangers.]
voice of HERO MORPHER:
Electro Power!
[The two use their knuckle weapons to deliver powerful punches to Zayen, and then a powered-up uppercut to send the Scallywag into the seats. Upon flying out, Zayen drops a computer pad onto the surface of the boxing ring. The two then power down with a flash. Nikki sees the pad, and picks it up to investigate.]
JORGE ORTEGA:
Can I see that?
[Jorge carefully picks it up, and starts fooling around with the device.]
Despite my looks, I am actually a scientist.
[DeAndre then sees a schematic on the display...that of Shireikan.]
From the looks of it...I think that monster was going to turn that boxer into this.
[DeAndre is beside himself, and thinks of Ray, and his descent into darkness.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Can you turn a cyborg back into a human?
JORGE ORTEGA:
It is possible...but there is no way of knowing for sure until I go over these specs in detail at my lab.
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
I’ll come with you. Nikki...go back without me.
INT.-CATALINA ISLAND-AVALON-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Nikki reports back to the rest of the crew, tells of the device and the blueprint seen on it. Brock checks the computer.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
Apparently, other than that boxer, others have been kidnapped...all athletes.
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Could it be? Guys...I think the Zangyu are mass-producing cyborgs...namely in the mold of Shireikan!
KIERAN OLIVER:
It’s the most diabolical plan set by the Zangyu yet!
[Brock studies the locations of the Zangyu sightings.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
I’ve plotted the sightings of the Zangyu...they may still be in the area.
KIERAN OLIVER:
I’ll call DeAndre to meet us.
COLIN SCOTT:
No! Let him be. He’ll catch up, and find us when he feels right. Let’s go!
EXT-ACADEMI ISLAND-UNIVERSITY-DAY
[Scientists walk along the grounds.]
INT-ACADEMI ISLAND-UNIVERSITY-JORGE’S OFFICE-DAY
[In Jorge’s lab, DeAndre watches with anticipation as Jorge uses his computer to study the blueprints.]
JORGE ORTEGA:
(as the monitor flashes “No Return”)
The results are in, DeAndre. There is no way of turning Shireikan back into a human. Zayen is a bona-fide genius.
[The result angers DeAndre, who displays his feelings.]
Was Shireikan a friend of yours?
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
You could say that...until Zayen turned him into a mindless cyborg.
JORGE ORTEGA:
I know how you feel. A couple of my friends sacrificed their lives for evil. In the end, we could not save their bodies...but we saved their souls. You can do the same.
[On the way out, DeAndre sees a skateboard in the corner of the room.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Thanks. Can I ask you something? Were you a Beast Ranger?
JORGE ORTEGA:
Many years ago...the Yellow Beast Ranger. My actual name is Jorge Ortega. Joe for short.
INT.-FOREST-DAY
[Zayen and several Foilers keep watch over their chained hostages. The Scallywag is ready to turn them into cyborgs.]
ZAYEN:
Soon, you will all become servants to the Zangyu Empire as mindless cyborg drones!
[Soon, the festivities are interrupted as the crewmen (sans DeAndre) drop in.]
KERI SCHMIDT:
Turning humans into cyborgs...that’s some freaky hobby of yours!
[The five crewmen prepare their morphers and keys to transform into Hero Rangers. The suits “flash-form” over the quintet, who then charge in with their weapons against the Foilers and Scurvies. The Red Ranger even gets a few shots in at Zayen. Soon, the hostages are freed, and escape. The Scallywag then releases smoke to freeze the five rangers, who are then blasted by the Scurvies to make them collapse.]
ZAYEN:
(as his mechanization tentacles fly all over)
You five will be a welcome present to Prince Kraken...wrapped up with a bow!
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
(as he leaps in to slice through the tentacles)
Not on my watch! I’m her to make sure Shireikan is a one-of-a-kind!
[DeAndre utilizes his morpher and key to insta-morph into the Blue Ranger. The Silver Ranger upgrades into his Golden Armor Mode with his Golden Anchor Key, and uses his trident on the Scurvies. The core five decide to use the Beast Keys to change-up into Beast Rangers, and use their weapons to battle Zayen after some hand-to-hand combat. The Scallywag then sends energy blasts from his eyes to the rangers, who charge in with the weapons and attacks.]
SILVER HERO RANGER:
Heroic Legend Strike!
[The finisher of the Silver Ranger is executed to finish off the Scurvies. Meanwhile, the core five revert to their Hero Ranger forms.]
ZAYEN:
(taunting)
Is that all you got!?
BLUE HERO RANGER:
Let me at him!
[As the Blue Ranger walks with his cutlass toward Zayen, the Scallywag blasts fireballs at the ranger, who uses the blade of his sword to deflect them, He then uses the cutlass to execute his version of Ray’s sword-move. Zayen cackles in blue energy bolts, then collapses and explodes as the Blue Ranger poses victoriously.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[Kraken is upset with Zayen’s defeat.]
PRINCE KRAKEN:
(screaming in disbelief)
Zayen!
[Kyatsu immediately grabs the enlargement gun, and presses the trigger.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[The pink beams hit Zayen and the three Scurvies to revive and enlarge them just as the rangers escape the cave when the enlarging destroys it. The Red and Silver Rangers then use their keys and morphers to summon the zords. The drag chains pick up the core five to pull them into the galleon as the Silver Ranger leaps up into his zord. Soon, the Hero Megazord and the Tri-Legend Dino are formed, and face off with Zayen and the Scurvies.]
voice of CORE HERO RANGERS:
Hero Megazord!
voice of SILVER HERO RANGER:
Tri-Legend, Dino Mode!
[Both robots charge in as the Scurvies blast them. Suddenly, the Beast Keys glow.]
PINK HERO RANGER:
DeAndre...was that?
BLUE HERO RANGER:
Yeah...Joe is actually Jorge Ortega...the former Yellow Beast Ranger.
[The five insert the keys into their consoles, and turn them to open the hatches, and releases the Dual Beast Megazord, which moves toward the Scurvies, and blasts them.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Heroic Beast Attack!
[The aura destroys the three minions. The Hero Rangers insert their keys into the console, and summon the Minizord, which appears from a dark cloud.]
MINIZORD:
I am Minizord!
[Minizord throws clubs at Zayen to engulf him in sparks.]
Unify!
[The Minizord turns into shurikens to combine with the Hero Megazord.]
ALL CORE HERO RANGERS:
Hero Megazord, Storm Mode!
[A turn of the keys opens the hatches to reveal the shurikens, and also gives the megazord new chest armor and a new helmet, with the Wind Ninja Academy symbol on the chest.]
SILVER HERO RANGER:
(as he inserts the White Dino Ranger Key, and the robot forms)
Tri-Legend Megazord!
[As the sun begins to set, the two megazords face Zayen. As the Scallywag begins to overpower the zords, the two double-team Zayen to send him flying backward.]
YELLOW HERO RANGER:
Shuriken Chain!
[The weapon on a chain is whipped around like a yo-yo, and strikes Zayen.]
ALL CORE HERO RANGERS:
Shuriken Storm Attack!
ALL CORE HERO RANGERS:
(as they turn the keys again)
Heroic Storm Attack!
[The turn of the keys releases Minizord from the main robot.]
MINIZORD:
(as he multiplies himself)
Mini Storm!
[Over a dozen Minizords use their shurikens, and charge to attack Zayen. The Silver Ranger sets all three keys to activate the megazord’s finisher.]
SILVER HERO RANGER:
Triple Legend Strike!
[Auras of the Tri-Legend’s two other forms materialize, and merge with the megazord, and strike Zayen, who cackles in red energy bolts, sparks, collapses and explodes as the megazords pose victoriously.]
INT.-CATALINA ISLAND-AVALON-GALLEON-CROW'S NEST-NIGHT
[As the ship sails away, DeAndre thinks to himself.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
I will save your soul, Ray. If it’s the last thing I do!
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-NIGHT
[Shireikan looks out a window onto the Earth.]
INT.-CATALINA ISLAND-AVALON-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[DeAndre continues his vow.]

After three ranger powers are stolen, Tommy enlists his ex-girlfriend, Kat Hillard to help him in a dangerous plan. Unfortunately, the plan backfires, and the rangers face the dangerous new form of an old foe.
