EXT.-ANGEL GROVE-INDUSTRIAL ZONE-DAY
[The six crewmen have recovered enough to sit up so Tommy and Kat can talk to them.]
TOMMY OLIVER:
Next time, you need to use the Zeo Powers.
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Nikki and Kieran tend to their wounds. Kieran’s right arm is in a sling. The newly acquired Power Keys lay on the table in front of the chest.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE-QUARRY-DAY
[Colin is training with his cutlass, and breaking rocks.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE-PARK-DAY
[DeAndre and Keri spar with their cutlasses.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-GALLEON-BROCK'S LABORATORY-DAY
[Brock is working on a musket, and trying to increase it’s power output. After a bit of tweaking, the musket overloads. Brock is at it again. This time, he has a second Key Lock hooked up to a musket, and is using a computer to aid him.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-NIGHT
[The others eat the take-out as Kieran remarks about Brock’s project.]
KIERAN OLIVER:
It’s great that Brock is building a new weapon!
COLIN SCOTT:
There’s only one thing wrong with that...he’s never built a weapon.
[Suddenly, the ship rocks, and white smoke pours out from the lab.]
voice of BROCK CRANSTON:
Sorry! Crossed a wire!
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-NIGHT
[Sanbo approaches Kraken.]
SANBO:
Sire...allow me the opportunity to take charge of the next mission.
PRINCE KRAKEN:
Granted. Take out those blasted rangers!
[Sanbo bows in respect to the prince.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE-MOUNTAINS-QUARRY-DAY
[That morning, the Green Ranger inserts two green Power Keys into the musket’s twin Key Locks, and prepares to fire at a boulder.]
GREEN HERO RANGER:
Dual Heroic Wave!
[The large boulder is obliterated. As the Green Ranger removes the Power Keys from the weapon, he is blasted by a Scallywag, called SHIELDZO, and six Foilers.]
Not now!
[The Foilers charge at the Green Ranger, who puts the musket away in favor of his cutlass to battle the minions, then gets blasted to the ground. One Foiler is blasted as the other core rangers leap in, and use their weapons on the now one dozen Foilers. Soon, Shieldzo leaps down to face the rangers after the Foilers are defeated.]
SHIELDZO:
You can’t defeat me, rangers...go ahead and try!
[The rangers insert their keys into the Key Locks of the cutlasses as Shieldzo closes her arm shields.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Hero Wave!
[The attack bounces off of the arm shields.]
SHIELDZO:
(laughing manically as she opens her shields)
Told ‘ya!
[The rangers insert their Royal Keys into their morphers, and turn the key. The Royal Ranger suits “flash-form” over the bodies of the quintet.]
voice of HERO MORPHER:
Royal Power!
[The rangers form the team’s cannon, but Shieldzo’s arm shields deflect the blast again. The rangers then insert their Nuclear Keys.]
Nuclear Power!
[The rangers leap up to perform an energy attack, but it is deflected by the arm shields. The rangers end up on the ground, and struggle to recover. The Black Ranger reverts back into the Green Hero Ranger and grabs his modified musket from hammer-space, and loads two green keys as Shieldzo closes her arm shields.]
GREEN HERO RANGER:
Dual Heroic Wave!
[The attack bounces off of the arm shields. When the Green Ranger tries for another shot, the weapon overloads, and the Key Locks melt...they’re no use anymore. Shieldzo opens her shields, as she makes it rain lightning onto the five to envelop them in explosions to make them collapse.]
RED NUCLEAR RANGER:
We need to retreat!
[The five insert their Alien Ranger keys into their morphers, and use the power to vanish.]
SHIELDZO:
Run, rangers, run!
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-GALLEON-BROCK'S LABORATORY-DAY
[Brock returns to the “drawing board” to start all over. All of his spare Key Locks are gone. He starts to doubt himself as Kieran looks in on him. When Kieran tries to talk to Brock, Keri discourages him.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-NIGHT
[That night, Brock explains his idea, and the need to borrow everyone’s weapons to use the Key Locks.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
So, that’s why I need to borrow the Key Locks from your weapons. But...if the Zangyu attacks, you will net be able to execute any attacks with the weapons.
[The team considers, and gives him the weapons. Brock immediately goes to work with the others waiting on him hand and foot. Brock now has ten Key Locks, and the schematic from Billy and Hayley.

INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[That morning, Brock finalizes the weapon. Suddenly, the ship rocks, with alarm klaxon’s sounding off, stirring everyone.]
NAVIX:
We’re under attack!
[The viewscreen shows Shieldzo and two Scurvies firing on the ship.]
COLIN SCOTT:
Brock...you stay here with Kieran and finish the weapon...we’ll go deal with the them.
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-DAY
[The already morphed rangers leap out of the ship (which his some billowing white smoke coming from it), and land to confront the enemy. The four then take their Jungle Keys, insert them into their morphers, and turn them.]
voice of HERO MORPHER:
Jungle Power!
[The four use their Light-Spirit energy, and charge into battle. The Yellow Ranger uses her rapid punch as the White Ranger “power slices.” The Rad and Blue Rangers then send their Junglezord auras into the two Scurvies to make them explode. The four then charge in against Shieldzo.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Kieran watches the battle unfold on the viewscreen.]
KIERAN OLIVER:
How’s it coming along, Brock?
BROCK CRANSTON:
It needs some more firepower.
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-DAY
[The four rangers continue to battle. The Yellow and White Rangers land a punch on Shieldzo’s arm shields, then the Red and Blue Rangers touch their shoulders for a Light-Spirit infusion blast, which is deflected, sending the quartet onto their back-sides. The four then use their Mythic Keys to change-up into the Mythic Rangers, and leap upward to perform individual attacks, but again, end up on the ground.]
SHIELDZO:
I told you that you can’t defeat me!
RED MYTHIC RANGER:
(as he uses his morpher and a Power Key)
I’m not done yet!
voice of HERO MORPHER:
Light Power!
[The Red Ranger tries to attack, but it too is useless as Shieldzo’s arm shields are too powerful.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Kieran watches Brock work, and realizes something about the weapon.]
KIERAN OLIVER:
Brock...this weapon looks similar to the Zeo Power Cannon.
BROCK CRANSTON:
(realizing Tommy’s words)
Naw, it’s an original design...wait a sec...it does!
[Brock goes to the chest, and grabs the core five Zeo Keys, and inserts them into the weapon’s Key Locks. The Zeo Power turns the device into a new weapon.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-DAY
[The Red Ranger is tossed back to the others, followed by Shieldzo frying the quartet, knocking them back into their Hero Ranger forms. Suddenly, Shieldzo is blind-sided, and blasted by something. The Green Ranger runs in from the horizon with the new weapon.]
RED HERO RANGER:
Is it finished?
GREEN HERO RANGER:
Oh, yeah!
[The Green Ranger gets one blast in.]
RED HERO RANGER:
Let’s do this!
[The smoke and sparks ricochets off of it as the Green Ranger hands the weapon over to the red Ranger.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
(posing)
Heroes Setting Sail For Adventure! Power Rangers, hya!
SHIELDZO:
Bring it on, rangers!
[The five core rangers get into position and ready the cannon. The rangers insert their keys into the Key Locks for the Red Charge. The Red Ranger aims the cannon to execute the finisher.]
ALL CORE RANGERS:
Heroic Galleon Blast!
[Shieldzo cackles in red energy bolts after the cannon’s attack breaks her arm shields. She then explodes after sparking a bit.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[The Zangyu generals are left in shock.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-BEACH-DAY
[Pink beams hit to revive and enlarge Shieldzo, forcing the rangers to summon their zords, and Minizord to form the Hero Megazord’s Storm Mode.]
MINIZORD:
I am Minizord! Unify!
[The Minizord turns into shurikens to combine with the Hero Megazord.]
ALL CORE HERO RANGERS:
Hero Megazord, Storm Mode!
[A turn of the keys opens the hatches to reveal the shurikens, and also gives the megazord new chest armor and a new helmet, with the Wind Ninja Academy symbol on the chest.]
Shuriken Chain!
[The megazord tosses the chain, but Shieldzo catches the weapon, then summons lightning bolts to strike the robot. Sparks erupt in the cockpit, frying the rangers. Soon, the Tri-Legend Drill flies in, firing it’s lasers at the Scallywag.]
PINK HERO RANGER:
Kieran! What are you doing?
SILVER HERO RANGER:
Sorry, couldn’t stay away from a good battle! I’m here to help!
[The Silver Ranger forms the Tri-Legend Megazord, and closes the “T-Rex fist” to deliver multiple one-armed punches to Shieldzo.]
RED HERO RANGER:
Minizord...do your thing!
ALL CORE RANGERS:
(as they turn the keys again)
Heroic Storm Attack!
[The turn of the keys releases Minizord from the main robot.]
MINIZORD:
(as he multiplies himself)
Mini Storm!
[Over a dozen Minizords use their shurikens, and charge to attack Shieldzo, who cackles in red energy bolts, sparks, falls backward and explodes as the megazord poses victoriously. The megazord reverts to it’s default mode as Minizord lands on it’s right shoulder. The three zords pose victoriously.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-NIGHT
[Kraken is not very happy after the defeat, as usual.
PRINCE KRAKEN:
I’ve had it with those rangers!

NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: THE NEXT GENERATION...
Episode #47: GhostlyEncounter
The Zangyu send a hot Scallywag to the city to burn it down. When the rangers finally get to see their foe, they are in for a shock, when he is revealed to be the son of Dark Specter!
