INT.-SACRED GROUND-DAY
[In the main room, Chris and Daric talk a bit.]
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
Chikyu may have suspected that Davros wasn’t destroyed.
DARIC KAYSON:
you know...she has been dealing with a lot of stuff that we do not know about...other than the fact that Erutan is still missing. That pouch that she had...it looks like the one that my father had...but with all that has gone on lately, I haven’t had the time to ask her about it.
[Chikyu walks into the main room.]
CHIKYU:
Rangers...there is trouble in the city.
[The two run off with their blasters.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[A beam of energy blows up a tall building, causing an explosive fireball. The beam came from the sword of D’Gol. Soon, the Red and Black Rangers arrive (with the Black Ranger blasting, and D’Gol deflecting the shot.]
D’GOL:
(taunting)
I was wondering when you two would show up! I’d like to introduce to you our latest War Knight.
[Out of a cloud of smoke, a shadowy figure with glowing eyes walks menacingly as the two rangers watch. A red candle-ed being with blue, white, and gold accents stares at the two rangers. The new enemy un-holsters a blaster, and fires it wildly at the two rangers to make them spark. The Red and Black Rangers try to make a run for cover, but the new villain blasts D’Gol in the process.]
Hey! Watch it, newbie!
[The Red and Black Rangers are hit, and go down...but quickly recover..]
IXILON:
I am the War Knight of Hate...Ixilon.
[The Red Ranger tries to use his Jurassic Weapon to attack, but is shot at point-blank-range with Ixilon’s blaster. The Black Ranger tries to attack with the Dino Diggers, but is overpowered by Ixilon’s blaster as well. Soon, the Green and Gold Rangers arrive with their bladed weapons as the Blue and Pink Rangers check on the Red and Black Rangers. Ixilon holsters his blaster, which becomes the hilt of a sword, then unsheathes it, and produces a wave of energy to make the Green and Gold Rangers fly backward and onto the ground.]
IXILON:
I was told that you rangers were strong...guess they were wrong...because all I can see is that you six are pathetic!
[The rangers try to charge, but Ixilon fires a blast from the mirror medallion on his chest, which causes a lined crater in the parking lot, and the total destruction of some nearby buildings.]
D’GOL:
Now you are just irritating me, Ixie!
[Ixilon then uses his sword to attack D’Gol...soon, the two War Knights are sword-fighting each other. Suddenly, a vortex opens up.]
voice of SENTRY:
(angered)
Return at once!
[Sentry’s “ropes” grab the two War Knights, and pull them into the vortex. The vortex then closes.]
INT.-ANTARCTICA-FROZEN CASTLE-DAY
[As D’Gol and Ixilon kneel and bow at Sentry, the leader looks at his hand, talks with Master Davros.]
SENTRY:
Master Davros hungers for more intense human emotions. Ixilon...I want you to cooperate with the other War Knights to gain these emotions.
IXILON:
Fine...Aigar...you’re up!
AIGAR:
Oh, good! I got a plan!
[As Aigar and Ixilon depart the base, D’Gol lashes out.]
SENTRY:
You do not harm him...got it!?
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Later that day, Daric and Robbie are already morphed (with the Blue Ranger in his Jurassic Mode with his Jurassic Shield), ready to test the new Paleo Charger. Nearby, the rest of the team is near Maria, who is sitting at a small table with a laptop computer.]
[Maria opens up a briefcase revealing a red and white Paleo Charger marked with a “+1“ on it.]
MARIA ARMSTRONG:
This is the Carnivore Paleo Charger...meant for Daric. The Carnivore Paleo Charger is a powered up battery for the Red Paleo Ranger, made at the request of Chikyu.
[The Blue Ranger readies himself for whatever may come with the Red Ranger activating the new battery,]
RED PALEO RANGER:
(holding the battery)
Okay...here goes nothing!
[The Red Ranger activates the battery, and inserts it into his blaster, shuts the device. As he prepares to spin the barrel, it overloads, producing sparks and red energy bolts, frying the Red Ranger.]
BLUE PALEO RANGER:
(running to check on the Red Ranger, others look on in shock)
Daric!
[The Red Ranger collapses onto the ground, and the others rush to his side, Maria notices the Red Ranger’s mouthpiece...it’s gone from silver to black! The Red Ranger recovers to his feet...ghost-like, and starts acting like Tyranno!
Dude! Are you okay!?
[The Red Ranger roars at him.]
MARIA ARMSTRONG:
There’s something wrong with the Paleo Charger!
[Maria runs to check her computer to get her glasses. Suddenly, Aigar and Ixilon show up.]
IXILON:
A grudge? Sounds like hatred to me.
[With Daric out of commission, Chris is now the field leader.]
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
(taking out his battery)
Come on, guys...
[The five remaining team members insert their batteries into their morphers, and initiate their transformations.]
ALL:
Let’s Rock!
[The suits form over the bodies of Chris, Tyson, Miko, Ken, and Maria.]
BLACK PALEO RANGER:
Maria...watch over Daric...we’ll handle these losers!
[The Black Ranger battles Aigar in his Jurassic Mode as the others battle Ixilon...who seems to be getting the upper-hand. Aigar tries to get the Black Ranger angrier and angrier, then kicks and slices him with his axe. Suddenly, Aigar’s eyes go black, and gets psychotic...putting the Black Ranger into a choke hold. Suddenly, the Red Ranger approaches Aigar and the Black Ranger as the Purple Ranger tries to hold him back, and “bites” his arm. The Black Ranger tries to pull the Red Ranger off of Aigar, who uses his axe on the stricken ranger to knock him down. The Black Ranger holds Aigar back to allow the Red Ranger to recover to his feet, and runs up a cliff, and vanishes. The Black Ranger tosses a #11 Paleo Charger to the Purple Ranger. The two female rangers summon their cycles, and follow the Red Ranger. Meanwhile, Ixilon uses his chest-mirror, and blasts the rangers. The Blue Ranger uses his Jurassic Shield to try to block the shot...but it is way too powerful. The Black Ranger gets away from Aigar.]
Ken...catch!
[The Black Ranger activates the Allosaurus and Ammonite Paleo Chargers to load into the Gold Ranger’s Ptera Baton.]
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
Got it! Spiral Blaze!
[The attack hits the two War Knights so that the rangers can retreat. Aigar whines a bit, and Ixilon hits him upside the head to return him to normal.]
AIGAR:
(not remembering his psychotic rampage)
What happened? Was I acting strange? I been feeling weird occasionally since I made myself explode recently.
IXILON:
Really? It looked like you were enjoying yourself.
[The two War Knights begin to walk off from the area.]
INT.-SACRED GROUND-NIGHT
[The male team members are meeting with Chikyu as Miko and Maria teleport in. Maria then sits down with her laptop, tries to figure out what went wrong.]
Let me try to locate Daric’s Paleo Blaster. There is a device in it that sort of acts like a G-P-S tracker.
EXT.-FOREST-NIGHT
[The Red Ranger prowls the forest, then roars.]
INT.-SACRED GROUND-NIGHT
[The team officially installs Chris as the interim leader.]
CHRIS RUTRLEDGE:
Are you guys sure? Aigar was targeting me...knowing that I would get angry over his part in Shaw’s death. I’m not your man, guys.
[Chris walks out of the room.]
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[The next morning, Chris finds a bench, and sits down. Miko soon joins him.]
MIKO INOUE:
Are you okay?
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
Yeah...a bit scared though. How does Daric lead us so well?
MIKO INOUE:
We’re all a bit scared too, Chris. We are counting on you because we know that you can get the job done.
[Soon, the two see a building blow up.]
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
Time to go to work!
EXT.-CITY-INDUSTRIAL ZONE-DAY
[Ixilon is the cause of the trouble as workers flee in fear. He picks on a civilian, then tosses him. Chris and Miko catch the civilian, who then runs to safety. As Aigar and Ixilon face Chris and Miko, the other main team members arrive.]
IXILON:
Where’s the Red Ranger?
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
None-ya!
AIGAR:
Ah, yes...the Red Ranger bit me just because I was messing with his friends.
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
(puzzled)
What?
[Chris’ mood quickly lightens up, forcing Ixilon’s “face mask” to shut off.]
IXILON:
What!? I can’t feel any hatred!
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
No...because you will feel something else from us...pain! Let’s do this, guys!
[The five step forward, and utilize their batteries and morphers.]
ALL:
Let’s Rock!
[The suits fly around the team, and form onto their bodies. the rangers perform the team roll call.]
ALL RANGERS:
(posing with colored explosions followed by a fireball)
We Are The Bravest Heroes! Power Rangers...Paleo Strike!
[The five rangers leap off of the steps, and the core four go Jurassic, and battle the two War Knights. Soon, the Jurassic Tri-Blade is formed to defend from Ixilon’s chest-mirror beam. Suddenly, the Gold Ranger rockets into the sky with his Ptera Baton, and comes down to strike the War Knight of Hate.]
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
Ptera Aerial Slash!
[The attack weakens the War Knight. Meanwhile, the battle between the Black Ranger and Aigar heats up.]
AIGAR:
Cry out in hatred, Black Ranger!
[The Black Ranger resists the emotion, and shoots at Aigar with his Paleo Blaster and Jurassic Blaster. The Pink Ranger then performs an aerial kick as Aigar is enveloped in several small explosions. The two then power up their sidearms to use in conjunction with the Jurassic Blaster in a powerful Brave Finish attack. Aigar is then forced to the ground then goes “black-eyed psychotic.”]
GREEN PALEO RANGER:
Watch out! He’s in that psycho mode again!
[The Green and Gold Rangers try to attack Ixilon...who suddenly vanishes, and re-appears behind Lukuro.]
IXILON:
I want that watering can of yours!
[Suddenly, the now-grown Ixilon steps in, and blasts down at the rangers, forcing them to dodge. Plessie then arrives, and blasts Ixilon with it’s lasers.]
voice of MARIA ARMSTRONG:
I summoned Plessie to help you guys.
BLACK PALEO RANGER:
Right...thanks, Maria. Para!
[The Black Ranger summons his Paleozord, and forms the Plessio Battlezord-Sniper Mode, which blasts at Ixilon, who holsters his blaster, then unsheathes his sword to deflect the megazord’s blasts. Ixilon then rushes the robot to attack, but the megazord counters by blasting to produce a massive fireball, then punches the War Knight with it’s right arm.]
Tyson...we’ll do serial attacks.
GREEN PALEO RANGER:
Gotcha!
ALL RANGERS:
Blasting Brave Finish!
[The megazord executes the attack, then switches out Para for Velo.]
Plessio Battlezord...Blade Mode!
[The megazord attempts to execute the next attack, but Ixilon catches the blade, and impales himself to spark.]
IXILON:
Now, I can hate you all I want, rangers!
[The self-inflicted wound breaks his chest mirror, then Ixilon blasts the megazord, which rocks as Lukuro sling-shots a Shrink Sphere to shrink down the War Knight. The three then retreat as the five rangers watch from the cockpit of the megazord.]
INT.-SACRED GROUND-NIGHT
[Chikyu briefs the team.]
CHIKYU:
We need to get Daric back. With the new War Knight, and his immense power...we are short-handed.
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
We’ll get him back!
MARIA ARMSTRONG:
Guys! I think I found him!

EXT.-FOREST-NIGHT
[On a ridge, the Red Ranger roars at a large, full moon. TO BE CONTINUED...]

Both the rangers and Davros search for Daric, who in turn has a surprise for them.
