INT.-SACRED GROUND-DAY
[The team meets, and discusses the amber stones...and Daric’s stone.
CHIKYU:
There is a reason as to why Daric’s necklace reacts at times. The amber stones have more power than you know.
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
I have figured out that the amber stones hold fossilized fragments of the thirteen Guardian Paleo Spirits. My large stone...has no fossil in it...which, perplexes me.
CHIKYU:
You are correct, Christopher...We already have a few of the stones...but there are four more out there somewhere.
DARIC KAYSON:
My amber stone contains the fossil of the Allosaurus.
CHIKYU:
The stones are the key to reviving Brachio...and destroying the Davros Legion once and for all.
MIKO INOUE:
I may know where to find one of the amber stones.
INT.-ANTARCTICA-FROZEN CASTLE-DAY
[Sentry talks with Lukuro.]
SENTRY:
It is your turn to lead a mission, Lukuro.
LUKURO:
What? Are you crazy!? I failed with Terror Teacher...
SENTRY:
But you did well with Nightmarius.
LUKURO:
With whom I ultimately failed.
[Sentry looks at Lukuro with a stern look.]
Okay, okay! I’ll get right on it.
[Lukuro tries her best to concentrate on making a DavroMon.]
SENTRY:
Something about those stones troubles me for some reason. We need to collect as many as we can to prevent the rangers from doing something.
LUKURO:
Oh, I’m no good at creating monsters!
[Lukuro thinks of various DavroMon, and gets carried away, creates a hybrid of Cleptocloak and Digaxe...CLEPIX.
INT.-CITY-MICKELSON MANOR-DAY
[The six arrive at a mansion, almost as big as Miko’s house.]
MIKO INOUE:
Keith!
DARIC KAYSON:
We heard that you have an amber stone...can we borrow it?
KEITH MICKELSON:
(in a snobbish tone)
Yes, I have a stone that fits that description...and no...you cannot borrow it...because it will be a prize during a laser tag game.
[Keith turns on the charm to Miko.]
There is one way I will hand over the stone...if Miko agrees to be my wife.
MIKO INOUE:
(angerly)
Keith...you know what I think about you!
KEITH MICKELSON:
Tell you what...I’ll give you six a chance to win the stone...take part in the laser tag game at my birthday party. If I win...you get the stone...and I get Miko’s hand in marriage.
MIKO INOUE:
(angerly)
Keith! Game...on!
EXT.-CITY-MICKELSON MANOR-DAY
[Everyone is dressed in tactical gear, and has a laser rifle. On each chest is a “life” counter and sensor, set at three “lives.”]
KEITH MICKELSON:
(in front of a map of the Mickelson Estate)
The rules are simple...you have three “lives.” If you get down to zero, you are out of the game, and out of the running for the prizes. The prizes are based on the number of points in small treasure chests. Now...let’s go.
[Suddenly, Lukuro shows up. It appears that she is playing too. Seeing Lukuro, Daric summons Tyranno with the Carnivore battery, and it shrinks down into Mini-Ty.]
DARIC KAYSON:
Keep an eye on the estate for any Davros activity.
LUKURO:
Well...time to keep those rangers busy while Clepix grabs the stone.
[D’Gol arrives to the estate.]
D’GOL:
Need some help, Lukuro?
[The players all spread out, while keeping their guard up. Tyson and Miko team-up together, and both immediately lose a “life.” The two take cover, and scout the area a bit. The two see their “attacker,” it’s Keith himself.]
KEITH MICKELSON:
I designed the contest after that reality T.V. show, “The Quest.” You all have no chance of winning!
TYSON KIRKLAND:
I will handle Keith...you go after the treasure chest!
[Meanwhile, Ken scouts around the perimeter of the estate on his own...until he is taunted by D’Gol.]
KEN FERRADAY:
D’Gol! What are you doing here!?
D’GOL:
(while attacking Ken with his sword)
I just came to have some fun!
[D’Gol then rushes Ken morphs while dodging attacks from D’Gol’s sword.]
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
Ptera Baton!
[Back at the laser tag game, Lukuro starts to go into the mansion, but sees how much fun the game is, and continues to play, neglecting her orders from Sentry. Meanwhile, Daric and Chris have a treasure chest now, but get carried away a bit as Robbie looks on from a bush.]
ROBBIE MENDOZA:
What are those two doing!?
[Daric and Chris run to the goal line, and win First and Second Place...but the stone is the Third Place prize. Daric wins a diamond...and Chris wins a vacation home.]
DARIC KAYSON:
(into his Buckle-Comm)
Guys!
[Keith takes another “life” from Tyson...he only has one left.]
voice of DARIC KAYSON:
The stone is the Third Place prize!
[Keith grabs a treasure chest with a card inside worth 180 points...the Third Place prize.]
KEITH MICKELSON:
The game is set up so I would win no matter what! It’s my party, and I am the center of the universe!
[Suddenly, Tyson is faced with five of Keith’s bodyguards in dark suits and sunglasses, who fire their own laser guns at Tyson, who dodges the laser blasts. Tyson then grabs a straightened stick, and demonstrates his sword-fighting skills on the dark suits to take them down, then wrests the laser gun from Keith...tossing it backward, while holding Keith at bay.]
TYSON KIRKLAND:
See! This is why Miko doesn’t like you! It’s the way you act!
[Tyson hands the laser gun back to Keith for a fair fight...but Keith takes Tyson’s last “life.” Suddenly, Clepix arrives, and blasts the “life” monitors off of both Keith and Tyson, who prepares to fight the charging DavroMon. Meanwhile, Lukuro continues to have fun, and the Gold Ranger continues to swordfight D’Gol...and is getting overpowered, until Mini-Ty arrives to attack the War Knight of Anger.]
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
Mini-Ty! Go alert Daric!
[Back at the laser tag, Celpix blasts at Keith, who cowers in fear.]
KEITH MICKELSON:
Guards! Protect me!
[The guards run in fear, leaving Keith, who nearly gets his head taken off by Clepix’ staff-scythe...but the weapon is deflected by Tyson.]
Why...why did you protect me?
TYSON KIRKLAND:
I have my reasons...I have a duty to uphold.
[Miko runs in, and sees the trouble, kicking at Clepix. Both then ready their morphers and batteries.]
This is that duty!
TYSON KIRKLAND AND MIKO INOUE:
Let’s Rock!
[The two spin the barrels and squeeze the triggers. The suits form onto the two.]
KEITH MICKELSON:
You guys are Power Rangers!
[The Green Ranger charges with his Dino Blade as the Pink Ranger leaps in to kick Celpix. As the Pink Ranger is about to run off, Keith wants her to wait.]
Wait! Uh...I feel bad, and...I...I want you to have this treasure chest.
[Meanwhile, the Gold Ranger continues to have problems against D’Gol until the Red and Black Rangers arrive to help him.]
RED PALEO RANGER:
Ken!
[All three then get blasted by D’Gol, who is using Ixilon’s blaster.]
BLACK PALEO RANGER:
That’s Ixilon’s blaster! D’Gol...did you...?
GOLD PALEO RANGER:
He did!
[D’Gol then summon’s Ixilon’s sword as the Red Ranger grabs Mini-Ty.]
RED PALEO RANGER:
Battle Up!
[The armor forms onto the Red Ranger suit. The Red Carnivore Ranger battles the dual-sword wielding D’Gol, and his lightning-based attacks. D’Gol gets the Red Ranger into an energy grip, but the Battlized Ranger breaks the hold, and fires the CarniBlaster. D’Gol blocks the blast.]
D’GOL:
(as he retreats)
That was a good battle. Now I know that I can put up a good fight against you!
[Meanwhile, the Green and Pink Rangers continue to battle Clepix. The two fire a shot from their Paleo Blasters, but Clepix’ chest vault absorbs it before getting blasted by the Red, Black, and Gold Rangers...who are soon joined by the Blue Ranger.]
RED CARNIVORE RANGER:
Thanks for joining us, Robbie!
ALL RANGERS:
(posing with colored explosions followed by a fireball)
We Are The Bravest Heroes! Power Rangers...Paleo Strike!
[Both sides charge into a melee-style battle. Clepix then opens his chest vault to suck in things around him...including the rangers.]
RED CARNIVORE RANGER:
I got an idea! Battle Change! Seven...Five...One! Fire!
[The Red Ranger inserts the three batteries into the CarniBlaster one-by-one, and fires the weapon to allow weapon attachments to form onto his arms...a mini Kylo Smasher forms onto his right hand.]
Red Carnivore Ranger...Defender Mode!
[The Red Ranger let’s go, and gets sucked toward Celpix, and hits him with the Kylo Smasher attachment, smashing the chest vault. The Red Ranger then uses the CarniBlaster to execute the finisher.]
Paleo Carnivore Finish!
[Clepix collapses, and explodes as the rangers pose victoriously. Lukuro has three treasure boxes, and puts them into her pouch.]
CLEPIX:
(begging)
Please, Lukuro...make me grow!
[Lukuro spritzes the DavroMon with the water from her watering can to enlarge him. A combined attack from Tyranno, Cephala, and Plessie smashes Clepix’ vault again. The three Paleozords combine to form the Paleo Megazord-Battle Slam Mode.]
ALL RANGERS:
Exploding Brave Finish!
[Clepix cackles in pink energy bolts, sparks, collapses, and explodes with the megazord posing victoriously, and the rangers briefly celebrate in the cockpit.]
INT.-ANTARCTICA-FROZEN CASTLE-DAY
[Lukuro opens all three of the treasure boxes she stole...they’re all empty.]
SENTRY:
A failure I see. Maybe some shock therapy is in order.
[Sentry has a copy of Terror Teacher’s electro-pointer stick...and delivers energy bolts to the War Knight of Fun.]
LUKURO:
That’s not fun!
[Watching from the shadows is D’Gol.]
D’GOL:
I will hide my discretion for now.
EXT.-CITY-MICKELSON MANOR-DAY
[Daric and Chris have relinquished their prizes as Miko reveals the treasure box given to her by Keith. She won the amber stone.]
KEITH MICKELSON:
I gave Miko the box that will win her...and all of you the amber stone. Tyson...I apologize. Thank you for showing me the correct way.
DARIC KAYSON:
(looking at the stone)
It’s the Styracosaurus!
ROBBIE MENZODA:
Yay! Ten points!
DARK SUIT:
That wins you a year’s supply of scrubbing brushes!
[Robbie thought he would have won something more exciting.]
