[The Galleon has dropped it's anchors in Angel Grove Bay.]
INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[Brock looks at the computer and main viewer.]
BROCK CRANSTON:
It seems that the Zangyu have set up base between the Earth and the moon.
COLIN SCOTT:
Navix...got anything for us?
NAVIX:
I see a magical man in black from the forest of the briar patch knows something.
[The teens seem a bit confused.]
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[A young man, about fifteen in age rides up on a bicycle. He stops, and looks up at the Galleon. He then continues toward the ship. Meanwhile, the five teens hit the plaza to find the man in black, but are amazed to see so many people wearing black...nuns, businessmen, agents, etc.]
KERI SCHMIDT:
There are so many people in black!
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
How are we supposed to find this person!?
[Below, the young man on the bicycle rides up.]
AUSTIN:
Rangers! I know where you can find the greatest treasure in the universe.
[The claim by the young man grabs the attention of the five.]
EXT.-CITY-HARBOR-SHIPYARD-DAY
[The six talk a bit. Austin tells of his experience of meeting the Kendo Rangers six years prior...{he was the "Baseball Boy" in PRKW #5}.]
DeANDRE TAYLOR:
So you want to help defeat the Zangyu? Dude, are you out of your mind!?
AUSTIN:
No...but I do want to take a picture of you guys.
[Austin takes out a cell-phone camera, and requests Colin to strike a heroic pose with the Red Kendo Ranger Power Key.]
Closer.
[Austin gets very close, and tries to grab the key...but is blocked by Colin, and the two get into a bit of a struggle.]
COLIN SCOTT:
What are you doing!?
[Off-screen, Austin gets a hold of the Red Kendo Ranger Power Key, and takes off with the teens following.]
Come back!
EXT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-DAY
[The ship joins the others.]
INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[The villains congregate on the Bridge.]
SANBO:
My lord...the rangers have us at a one-to-nothing advantage.
PPRINCE KRAKEN:
I know that! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Skullocto!
[A Scallywag that has tentacle-like ornamentation and a red skull on his head enters the Bridge.]
Go an wreck havoc on the city!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Austin continues running with Colin and Nikki close behind.]
EXT.-CITY-HARBOR-SHIPYARD-DAY
[DeAndre, Brock, and Keri return to the shipyard, wait for the other two.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Austin takes time to look at the Power Key as Colin and Nikki catch up to him.]
COLIN SCOTT:
Austin! You need to return that key to us.
[Austin hesitates a bit.]
Why do you want the key so bad?
{A flashback starts. We see a human male holding a nine-year old child by the arms in a reassuring manner.}
AUSTIN:
Because...my...Grandfather, Matriz...died during that battle in 2012. He is...not from around here. He fought the Zangyu in a Red Ranger suit.
{The man then morphs into the Red Morphing Master. The ranger is then on top of a crane battling an army of Foilers amidst roaring flames. The ranger then looks down at the boy, then charges into battle with a sword.}
NIKKI BUCHANAN
Did he say anything about Morphing Masters?
AUSTIN:
I never heard him say anything like that. But...he was transformed in some Ranger-like suit. In the battle, I did hear something fall from above...I assumed it was him, but when the smoke cleared...there was nothing, and he was gone.
[Suddenly, the Zangyu Fleet ships fill the sky, and the army of Foilers and Scurvies descend from the ships along with Skullocto. Austin then starts to walk away.]
NIKKI BUCHANAN:
Austin...wait!
EXT.-CITY-HARBOR-SHIPYARD-DAY
[The other three teens see the Zangyu ships, and act.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The Zangyu force lands as citizens flee in fear. Skullocto uses his blaster to blow up some skyscrapers and other buildings as the Foilers on the ground open fire. The three teens (Colin, Nikki, and Austin) see the carnage.]
COLIN SCOTT:
Here. Make your Grandfather proud...but be careful.
AUSTIN:
Thanks, Colin.
[Austin opens the Red Kendo Ranger Power Key, and inserts it into the Hero Morpher.]
voice of MORPHER:
Kendo Power!
RED KENDO RANGER:
This is for you, Grandfather!
[The Red Kendo Ranger draws his Kendo Razor, and charges in to battle the minions. The two teens watch with concern as the Kendo Ranger struggles and the others arrive and watch.]
The Zangyu will pay for what they did!
[The Kendo Ranger lands his sword onto Skullocto, but the Scallywag flings him backward.]
SKULLOCTO:
You call yourself a ranger!? You're pathetic!
[The Red Kendo Ranger slowly recovers, then continues his futile attempt to battle.]
Let me put you out of your misery!
[Skullocto flings the ranger into the side of a building, about twenty feet up, then rapidly descends to the hard ground below where the suit vanishes.]
COLIN SCOTT:
(approaching Austin)
We'll take it from here.
AUSTIN:
(as he recovers)
Get him!
ALL TEENS:
It's Morphin' Time!
voice of MORPHER:
Hero Power!
[The suits "fully-form" over the quintet.]
ALL RANGERS:
(posing)
Heroes Setting Sail For Adventure! Power Rangers, hya!
[The rangers utilize their Crossbone Muskets and Crossbone Cutlasses to blast Skullocto, and the army of Foilers. After battling melee-style, the rangers do their weapons trading to each other. After a few minutes, the five rangers face the enemy for their finisher.]
RED HERO RANGER:
Let's do this!
[Pink and Green have two muskets each...Blue and Yellow have two Cutlasses each, and Red has one of each.]
ALL RANGERS:
Dual Hero Wave!
[Pink and Green blast their weapons and Blue and Yellow slice with theirs. The Red Ranger fires his musket, then slices to knock the slice into the blast to strike the three Scurvies, who cackle in red electricity bolts, then collapse and explode.]
SKULLOCTO:
(as he fires his blaster)
Bring it on, rangers!
[The rangers insert their S.P.D. Ranger Power Keys to become the S.P.D. Rangers.]
voice of MORPHER:
S.P.D. Power!
[The rangers use their weapons to destroy the blasts, then open fire at Skullocto, who charges at the five as they insert their Ninja Storm Ranger Power Keys.]
Storm Power!
[The rangers use the Hidden Ninja Attack to send Skullocto flying. The five all change into various Red Rangers.]
Kendo Power! Wild Power! Mystic Power! Star Power! Jungle Power!
RED MYSTIC RANGER:
Magi Staff! Fire Power!
RED STAR RANGER:
Star Card...Tornadic Transport!
[The combined powers of the two rangers form a fiery tornado as the Wild Force and Jungle Rangers kick and punch. The Kendo Ranger uses the Kendo Razor to slice.]
SKULLOCTO:
I'm seeing way too much red!
[Skullocto cackles in red electricity bolts before collapsing and exploding. The rangers then revert to their Hero Ranger forms. Soon, pink energy beams revive and enlarge the three Scurvies and Skullocto. The Red Ranger opens his morpher, and presses 5-5-0-1 to summon the galleon.]
RED HERO RANGER:
Powerzords...Deploy!
[The galleon opens up to release the other four Powerzords. The rangers board their zords, and go to work. The four zords blast lasers at two of the Scurvies, who spark and flail.]
Form the megazord!
ALL RANGERS:
Powerzords, Unify!
[The five zords fly up into the atmosphere, and combine. The Submarine and Truck forms the legs as the Fighter and Speeder form the arms with the Galleon forming the rest. The megazord puts on it's hat, and grabs the Dual Heroic Sabers before coming back to the surface while performing very agile acrobatic maneuvers.]
Hero Megazord!
RED HERO RANGER:
Let's get to work!
[The megazord faces Skullocto and the remaining Scurvy, who blast the robot. The megazord flips over the two as it slices with it's swords at the two. The two get the megazord into a perverbial sandwich, but it uses it's swords to make Skullocto fall, the turns it's attention to the Scurvy, who blasts and the flipping robot. Skullocto then grabs the wheel on the back of the megazord.]
SKULLOCTO:
I wonder what this thing does?
RED HERO RANGER:
No you've done it!
[The megazord "opens up" to blast the Scurvies away with cannonballs as Austin watches from the top of a building. The megazord then "closes up."]
BLUE HERO RANGER:
Let's show them what this thing can do!
[The five rangers insert their Power Keys into their control panels, and the robot "opens up" again.]
ALL RANGERS:
Hero Power Bomber!
[The Hero Cannon pump out cannonballs to make Skullocto collapse and explodes in a hail of cannon fire. The megazord "closes up" as it poses victoriously. The megazord breaks down, and the Galleon opens up to retrieve the other four zords. Austin is happy as he watches the Galleon fly off into the sunset.]
INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[The teens relax after battle.]
KERI SCHMIDT:
No jewel here. Could Navix be wrong?
BROCK CRANSTON:
Probably not.
COLIN SCOTT:
Let's move on.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[On the ground, a humanoid in a black, hooded cloak watches. The front of the cloak has the symbol of the Mystic Force on it. The human removes the hood to reveal his identity...it is Nick Russell...the former Red Mystic Ranger!]

Episode #5: Mystified
After the Galleon makes a crash landing in a volcano, the rangers are attacked by a Scallywag. Elsewhere, Colin and Brock meet the prophesied man dressed in black...Nick Russell.
