EXT.-CITY-NIGHT
[As the Galleon passes over an unknown city, the team sleeps.]

INT.-CITY-GALLEON-DeANDRE'S QUARTERS-NIGHT
[DeAndre is experiencing a painful memory as a nightmare.]

EXT.-CITY-LOW INCOME HOUSING NEIGHBORHOOD-DAY {DeANDRE'S NIGHTMARE}
[Three years earlier, just before the Legend Battle, DeAndre is in a run-down neighborhood with some gang-bangers.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
(talking to a friend)
Yeah, man...

[A small import car pulls around the corner. An occupant in the car holds a gun out the window. In the split second before a barrage of gunfire, the two recognize the shooter as a classmate of theirs at their dojo.]

Harry Gulfried!

FRIEND:
(weakly)
Hadgulf!

[Harry was a skilled swordsman...so why did he use a gun? A sobbing DeAndre looks down at his hands as he holds the friend...it was bloodied...the friend had been shot.]

I'll be...okay..."D."

[DeAndre's friend slumps over. DeAndre calls over to some other boys to get some help...but he is ignored, and the friend dies in DeAndre's arms. At that point, DeAndre decides to straighten up his act.]

INT.-CITY-GALLEON-DeANDRE'S QUARTERS-NIGHT
[DeAndre quickly sits up in a cold sweat.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
I will never forgive you, Hadgulf for what you did to my friend...never!

INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-DAY
[The ship flies past several stars. A Scallywag enters the room.]

PRINCE KRAKEN:
Ah, the next warrior...Shireikan tells me that you are the best swordsman.

[Kraken gets out of his command chair and walks over to the Scallywag.]

PRINCE KRAKEN:
Those pesky rangers...are also good with their swords. I want you to annihilate them!

HADGULF:
I, Hadgulf will do what you ask, sire!

[Hadgulf takes out his sword, and presents an apple to Kraken. With his sword skills, Hadgulf skins the apple as it splits into wedges. Kraken eats a wedge.]

KYATSU:
Congratulations, Hadgulf...you will be an excellent warrior.

SANBO:
Enough of the childish games...just go to Earth and cut everything to pieces!

[Hadgulf departs the ship for Earth.]

EXT.-CITY-DAY
[DeAndre and Nikki exit a store, and walk up an escalator. DeAndre is carrying two paper bags of groceries. Suddenly, the two witness some buildings being sliced cleanly.]

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
What was that!?

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Let's go investigate!

[The two rush to the scene to see Hadgulf and a platoon of Foilers, who slice more buildings.]

HADGULF:
(seeing DeAndre and Nikki)
Stay out of my way...or I will cut you down!

[Soon, the Galleon flies over and stops as the other three repel down the chain ropes already morphed.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR AND NIKKI BUCHANAN:
(with their morphers and keys)
It's Morphin' Time!

voice of MORPHER:
Hero Power!

[The suits "full-form" over the duo.]

HADGULF:
So...you are the rangers that have a three million Zabatar bounty on their heads...Foilers...attack!

[The rangers utilize their Crossbone Cutlasses, charge into battle. The Blue Ranger charges through the Foilers to get to Hadgulf.]

EXT.-CITY-PARKING GARAGE-DAY
[Hadgulf and the Blue Ranger swordfight one-on-one in a parking garage as they taunt each other.]

BLUE HERO RANGER:
You're going down, Scallywag!

HADGULF:
The name's Hadgulf...don't forget it!

BLUE HERO RANGER:
(realizing who the monster really is, angered)
You!

[The two continue to battle, but Hadgulf soon begins to gain the upperhand. Hadgulf then performs his Cutlery Roulette attack, and flings multiple swords at the Blue Ranger to defeat him, and force him out of morph, and onto the ground.]

HADGULF:
Yes...I remember you...you were crying like a baby over your friend three years ago...you are weak!

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
That is because you killed a friend of mine! We were only twelve!

[The others rush to DeAndre's aid as the Red and Yellow Rangers go for Hadgulf.]

No, guys...I want to fight him...alone!

INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[A bit later, the team (except for DeAndre) gather to eat the lunch that Brock made.]

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
I'm concerned for DeAndre. He is...so...vengeful.

EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[DeAndre has his cutlass and another sword, as he has rigged up his own training session, and performs with several acrobatic maneuvers.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
That guy's had it!

[DeAndre notices Nikki watching him.]

I know that you are there, Nikki...please...go back to the ship...this is my fight.

[As dusk falls, Nikki leaves the area, and DeAndre goes back to practicing...he is determined to defeat Hadgulf.]

INT.-OUTER SPACE-STAMPEDER-BRIDGE-NIGHT
[Kraken is furious that the rangers keep getting in the way.]

PRINCE KRAKEN:
Those blasted rangers...they keep getting in the way!

[Hadgulf enters the room.]

You have ten seconds to destroy the Blue Ranger!

HADGULF:
I'll do it in five.

SHIREIKAN:
Don't get too cocky, Hadgulf!

EXT.-FOREST-NIGHT
[DeAndre continues to practice, and gets it right by slicing the last blade in two...and is ready to battle Hadgulf.]

EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[At dawn, DeAndre walks toward the beach, and is stopped by Nikki.]

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
"D"...you are my friend, and friends help each other.

[Nikki presents her Crossbone Cutlass to DeAndre so he has two to use. A grateful DeAndre slams his private sword into the ground, takes Nikki's cutlass, and continues on.]

EXT.-BEACH-DAY
[DeAndre arrives to see that Hadgulf is already there, and the taunts fly as the Scallywag draws his sword.]

HADGULF:
Ah, so you did come...I guess you're not a crybaby after all?

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
I came to to defeat you and avenge the death of my friend, Hadgulf!

[DeAndre tosses both cutlasses into the air, and morphs into the Blue Hero Ranger, who then catches the blades, and both sides charge into battle.]

HADGULF:
Two swords still won't defeat me! Cutlery Roulette!

[Hadgulf performs his multi-blade attack, and the Blue Ranger prepares himself, and deflects multiple swords from the Scallywag's attack. Soon, three Scurvies hold the Blue Ranger down so he can take a hit from the blades, and the ranger goes down. Nikki comes out from behind a rock.]

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
That is not fair, and you know it!

HADGULF:
Life isn't fair sometimes, sweetie...Foilers!

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
(as she inserts her key into her morpher)
It's Morphin' Time!

[The Pink Ranger suit flash-forms over Nikki's body. She runs toward the Blue Ranger as Hadgulf attempts to decapitate him. The Pink Ranger is met by a small army of Foilers. Within minutes, the other rangers come to her aid.]

RED HERO RANGER:
Let's try the Jungle Ranger keys.

[The rangers (sans Blue) insert the keys into the morpher.]

voice of HERO MORPHER:
Jungle Power!

[The Jungle Ranger suits fully-form onto the four rangers (with the Green Ranger becoming the Royal Wolf Jungle Ranger, and the Pink Ranger becoming the White Rhino Jungle Ranger) as the Scurvies blast. The Red Ranger uses his fists as the Yellow Ranger uses her Jungle Bo, and the Royal Wolf Ranger kicks as the White Rhino Ranger uses the Rhino Cutter. The four then insert the SPD Ranger keys.]

Delta Power!

[The four rangers then become SPD Rangers (with matching colors to their Hero Ranger forms), and utilize their sidearms to blast. The three Scurvies cackle in red electricity, collapse and explode. Meanwhile, Hadgulf continues his technique on the Blue Ranger, who utilizes the two Crossbone Cutlasses to split the Scallywag's nose in two.]

BLUE HERO RANGER:
Gotcha nose!

HADGULF:
You'll pay for that!

[Hadgulf then uses bladed projectiles from his body to attack the Blue Ranger...soon, the two cutlasses that he has are no longer useful.]

RED HERO RANGER:
"D!" Use our cutlasses!

[Soon, the Blue Ranger has five Crossbone Cutlasses to use, and immediately goes to work on Hadgulf's projectiles. The Blue Ranger uses more acrobatic techniques against the Scallywag, then inserts five Blue Ranger keys into the swords...Blue Wind Ranger, Blue Galaxy Ranger, Blue Mystic Ranger, Blue Kendo Ranger, and the Blue Star Ranger keys all lock down into the swords.]

BLUE HERO RANGER:
I have had just about enough of you, Hadgulf! Blue Penta Hero Wave!

[Ghostly forms of the five rangers, followed by the Blue Hero Ranger defeat hadgulf. Soon, pink beams hit Hadgulf and the three fallen Scurvies to revive and enlarge them. The Scurvies then transform into a glider (similar to the Green Goblin's glider in Spider-Man). The rangers quickly enter their zords, and form the Hero Megazord's Mystic Mode.]

ALL RANGERS:
Hero Megazord...Mystic Mode!

[The Mystic Dragon forms onto the megazord, which battles the enemy in a dogfight as Hadgulf fires his blades, but the megazord dodges.]

YELLOW HERO RANGER:
Let's turn up the heat on these guys!

[The megazord flambes Hadgulf and the Scurvies to destroy two of the minions. Hadgulf and the last Scurvy go down, but are able to recover as the megazord reverts to it's default mode.]

ALL RANGERS:
Power Bomber!

[The Scurvy moves in front of Hadgulf to protect him as the megazord shoots multiple cannonballs out of it's cannon to destroy the Scurvy. The megazord then transforms back into it's Mystic Mode.]

Mystic Bind!

[Hadgulf collapses and explodes as the megazord poses victoriously.]

INT.-CITY-GALLEON-MAIN ROOM-DAY
[As the team relaxes at sunset, DeAndre tells the others what happened three years ago.]

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Thanks for being there, guys...and I am sorry for the way I acted. I did have a past with Hadgulf. He used to be a human named Harry Gulfield...but went by the street name of Hadgulf.

NIKKI BUCHANAN:
So, he was human, and was turned into a Scallywag by the Zangyu?

DeANDRE TAYLOR:
Yeah. Three years ago, I ran with a rough bunch...gang-bangers. My friend and I were hanging out one day, and a car raced around the corner. Hadgulf shot my friend, and he died in my arms. No one nearby would call for help. So...that's why I wanted to go after Hadgulf out there...for...revenge. My friend and I were going to leave the gang-banging lifestyle. I made it...but he did not.

[The other four console him, then a beeping noise from the navigation console attracts Brock.]

BROCK CRANSTON:
(at the computer console, looking at the viewer)
Hey guys...we're nearing Brazil. Setting final coordinates for the Amazon Jungle.

[The five anticipate their time in the Amazon.]

Episode #7: ‭Jewel-Of-Eltar
‭The team arrives in the Amazon to seek the Jewel Of Eltar, the jewel belonging to the Green Morphing Master...Zordon, but are interrupted by Shireikan and Sanbo.
