INT.-SACRED GROUND-DAY
[The team meets as Daric had just reviewed the mission against the Davros. Daric clutches his amulet.]
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
So that’s your amulet that your father gave you?
DARIC KAYSON:
Yes.
[Chris notices that the amulet looks similar to the jewel that he and Shawn were after last year.]
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
Do you mind if I borrow it for some research?
DARIC KAYSON:
(taking off the necklace)
Sure.
MIKO INOUE:
Do you have anything else from your father?
DARIC KAYSON:
Yeah...
[Daric puts his hand to his shoulder as to grab a backpack.]
I left my bag on that island!
INT.-ANTARCTICA-FROZEN CASTLE-DAY
[D’Gol awaits the DavroMon from his column in the base...BRANDIRON.]
D’GOL:
Demonstrate your abilities!
BRANDIRON:
(as a MaZoDe walks by)
You! Come here!
[The MaZoDe “walks” over to Brandiron, who puts his mold arms around the head of the minion. When released, the minion has transformed into another Lukuro.]
LUKURO:
Another me!?
EXT.-INDONESIAN ISLAND-DAY
[Daric and Chikyu teleport in, and land.]
CHIKYU:
I will go check on Tyranno.
DARIC KAYSON:
Okay...I’ll catch up in a few minutes.
[Daric goes to get his stuff from his tent.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[At a cafe, Chris uses his Belt Buckle device to do some research on Daric’s amulet when he is witness to a young couple that starts squabbling.]
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
Uh...young love, going awry!
[The young man gets up, runs off from an emotional girlfriend, and down some stairs, and past a look-alike. The young woman roughs up the boyfriend, who turns to be the real-deal...the copy runs down to Brandiron, and changes back to a MaZoDe. Chris runs down, and confronts the two, then uses the belt buckle to communicate.]
Guys! I just ran into some trouble.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Robbie, Tyson, and Miko run down a sidewalk while spinning the barrel of their Paleo Blasters to morph into the Blue, Green, and Pink Paleo Rangers. Meanwhile, Brandiron and the MaZoDe out-run the Black Ranger.]
ALL THREE:
Let’s Rock!
[The three Rangers catch up with the Black Ranger.]
BLACK PALEO RANGER:
The DavroMon ran off! We need to split up!
[The four rangers split up to look for the DavroMon. On a nearby overpass, D’Gol is infuriated...as usual.]
D’GOL:
What! No Red Ranger! That makes me angry!
[As the four rangers look around, they are attacked by lightning bolts. D’Gol then comes running in with his sword. The four rangers try their best to battle the War Knight of Anger and try to fight back, but are severely overpowered. Brandiron then joins the fray as D’Gol powers up his sword to blow the quartet out of morph.]
TYSON KIRKLAND:
What’s his problem!?
ROBBIE MENDOZA:
Us!
EXT.-INDONESIAN ISLAND-DAY
[Daric has reached his tent, and breaks camp. He then gets a piece of paper from his bag.]
DARIC KAYSON:
(Thinking of his father, as he reads the letter)
Well, dad...I’m a Power Ranger now.
[He puts his bag onto his shoulder. Daric then hears something, and goes to investigate. Running to another area, Daric sees Sentry on a cliff.]
SENTRY:
Ah, Daric Kayson...the Red Paleo Ranger.
DARIC KAYSON:
(cautiously)
Who are you!?
SENTRY:
I am Sentry...the current leader of the Davros Legion. I am here to destroy you!
[Sentry then ties up Daric with a “pearl rope,”, and blasts at him, forcing Daric to dodge the blasts. Chikyu then arrives, and frees Daric.]
CHIKYU:
Daric!
DARIC KAYSON:
Be careful! This guy’s crazy strong!
CHIKYU:
Believe you me...I know. Now...the other rangers need you.
[Chikyu teleports Daric to the city.]
SENTRY:
What are you gonna do, Chikyu? You don’t have your rangers or zords to protect you!
CHIKYU:
I can take care of myself, Sentry!
[Both parties release energy beams, which cancel each other out in between the two in a massive fireball.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[In a plaza, Robbie, Tyson, and Miko argue as Daric teleports in.]
DARIC KAYSON:
Guys! What’s going on?
[The trio ignore Daric, who then sees Chris limping in.]
What’s going on, Chris?
COPY CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
It’s all your fault! You’re never here when we need you! You are a moron!
[Chris tosses Daric’s amulet into the air to blast it into several pieces with his Paleo Blaster. Daric sinks to his knees to pick up the pieces as the others chide Chris.]
MIKO INOUE:
What’d you do that for!?
[Nearby, D’Gol and Brandiron, who has the real Chris tied up, and gagged) watch as the other three gather around Daric.]
COPY CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
I hate you! You’re a poor excuse for a leader...an idiot!
BRANDIRON:
That’s right, Red Ranger...get angry!
[When Daric fails to get very angry, Brandiron gets very angry, and blows their cover.]
What! Why aren’t you getting angry!?
[The team sees that the two enemies have the real Chris Rutledge, and Tyson blasts the DavroMon with his Paleo Blaster as the real Chris breaks free and runs.]
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
(blasting his clone)
Poser!
[The “copy” Chris Rutledge is driven backward where he collapses to his knees, and reverts to a MaZoDe and vaporizes. The copied amulet pieces also vaporize. Chris then holds up the real amulet.]
This is proof that I am the real deal! That guy has the ability to make clones, so be careful!
DARIC KAYSON:
(holding up his Paleo Charger)
Let’s take them down!
ALL:
Let’s Rock!
[The five aim the weapons upward before pressing the triggers. The Paleo Ranger suits fly around, and form over their bodies, letting them become Paleo Rangers. The rangers shout out their roll calls as they battle the MaZoDe.]
RED PALEO RANGER:
The Fanged Hero! Red Paleo Ranger!
BLACK PALEO RANGER:
The Blasting Hero! Black Paleo Ranger!
BLUE PALEO RANGER:
The Armored Hero! Blue Paleo Ranger!
GREEN PALEO RANGER:
The Slicing Hero! Green Paleo Ranger!
PINK PALEO RANGER:
The Sharp Heroine! Pink Paleo Ranger!
[D’Gol kicks Brandiron out of the way, and charges in with his powered-up sword. The Red Ranger then slides his blaster down his right arm to activate his Jurassic Mode just in time, and uses his Jurassic Fang to block the blade as the other rangers fight the MaZoDe. Nearby, Brandiron turns four MaZoDe into copies of the Black, Blue, Green, and Pink Rangers.]
BRANDIRON:
Now, go and confuse them!
[The “copied rangers” get in on the battle, and fight the real rangers. The real Black Ranger blasts all of the MaZoDe, then goes for the copied rangers, all while putting flowers into the belts of himself and his teammates.]
REAL BLACK PALEO RANGER:
Guys! We’ve been copied! I put flowers into your belts during the battle to tell the real from the fake!
REAL PINK PALEO RANGER:
Good idea, Chris!
ALL FOUR:
Jurassic Mode, Engage!
[The four roll their blasters down their right arms to activate their Jurassic Modes and Jurassic Weapons. The four spread out and battle the clones with their weapons, and get the clones into the middle, where they revert to their MaZoDe forms, and vaporize after collapsing.]
BRANDIRON:
What the sizz!?
[The rangers toss their flowers over their shoulders behind them. The DavroMon attacks with a beam, but the Blue Ranger uses his shield to deflect it. The Green and Pink Rangers then double team with their weapons to drive Brandiron back a bit, then move out of the way to allow the Black Ranger to blast with his weapon to knock the DavroMon down. The Red Ranger then kicks D’Gol down and uses the Jurassic Spear Paleo Charger to combine the Jurassic Weapons into the Jurassic Spear, and attacks Brandiron.]
RED PALEO RANGER:
Jurassic Spiker!
[Brandiron sparks, then cackles in red energy bolts before collapsing and exploding as the quintet pose victoriously with the weapon.]
EXT.-INDONESIAN ISLAND-DAY
[The battle between Chikyu and Sentry continues. Sentry then opens his book, and uses a dark spell to release a protective barrier within the volcano to release the Pteranodon Paleozord. The volcano erupts as the zord flies out.]
CHIKYU:
No! Don’t!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Brandiron enlarges, no thanks to Lukuro and his watering can. Suddenly, several hundred MaZoDe all clump together and turn into a Giant MaZoDe. Brandiron then uses his hand-molds to transform the Giant MaZoDe into a copy of D’Gol, who attacks the rangers on the ground with his sword.]
BLUE PALEO RANGER:
We need the zords!
[Tyranno then arrives, and the Red Ranger activates his Paleo Charger, and tosses it to his partner. Tyranno, Stego, and Cera all combine to form the Paleo Megazord...but Copy D’Gol and Brandiron double-team the robot. In the cockpit, the rangers are jostled around. The Red Ranger then gets a call from Chikyu on his belt buckle communicator.]
RED PALEO RANGER:
Chikyu?
CHIKYU:
Use the Oviraptor Paleo Charger! It will emit a potent noxious gas from the rear of Tyranno.
PINK PALEO RANGER:
(puzzled)
Did she say what I think she said?
RED PALEO RANGER:
You want us to make Tyranno fart!? You got it!
BLUE PALEO RANGER:
Smell-o-gram!
[The Red Ranger activates the #17 Oviraptor Paleo Charger, and tosses it out to Tyranno’s mouth. A greenish-yellow gas cloud comes out of Tyranno’s buttocks, and puts up a stink to Copy D’Gol and to Brandiron.]
BRANDIRON:
(while coughing and rubbing his eyes)
My eyes! They burn!
[In the cockpit, the rangers “hold their noses.”]
BLACK PALEO RANGER:
That’s one nasty move...but very effective!
GREEN PALEO RANGER:
Oh, man! Pee-yew!
BLUE PALEO RANGER:
Oh, that’s vile, Daric!
PINK PALEO RANGER:
That stinks worse than the corpse flower!
RED PALEO RANGER:
(activating the #7 Ankylosaur Paleo Charger)
Let’s finish this! Kylo!
[The right arm of the megazord detaches to allow Kylo to attach, and for the Paleo Megazord-Defender Mode. The megazord pounds Copy D’Gol with the Kylo Smasher attack over the head to revert it to it’s Giant MaZoDe form, then uses the Tricera Drill attack to drill through the body of the giant minion to make it spark and cackle in red energy bolts before dissolving.]
ALL RANGERS:
Paleo Defender Finish!
[The megazord spin-strikes Brandiron a couple times, then delivers an uppercut to send the DavroMon high into the sky where he cackles in red energy bolts and some fireballs before exploding as the megazord poses victoriously.]
INT.-SACRED GROUND-DAY
[The team meets up at the base. Chikyu looks pre-occupied.]
DARIC KAYSON:
Are you done with the amulet, Chris?
CHRIS RUTLEDGE:
Yeah. I have all the info I need. Your father’s pretty awesome, Daric. I’ll keep looking into this some more.
voice of CHIKYU:
Ptera has ended up in the enemy’s hands. The only saving grace is that it needs a ranger to use it’s full power.
INT.-ANTARCTICA-FROZEN CASTLE-DAY
[D’Gol is infuriated at his defeat.]
D’GOL:
That defeat was so infuriating!
SENTRY:
Actually, you did good, D’Gol. A job well done. In fact, I have a new tool to use against the rangers.
[Sentry holds up a Paleo Charger, that looks like the regular #6-Pteranodon battery, but has the Davros symbol over the picture of the dinosaur. Sentry gives the Paleo Charger to D’Gol, who activates it.]

NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: PALEO STRIKE...
Episode #10: Labyrinth
Robbie must figure out how to properly split his priorities between his family and his duty as a Power Ranger, all the while a DavroMon attacks.
