INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[Four of the core ninja students are practicing.]
BROOK PADILLA:
So...where's X at?
IZZY FROST:
He's helping his elderly neighbor mow her lawn.
JOSH TURNER:
It's been too quiet around here since Trist is on Catalina seeing family.
ANDREW FROST:
(entering the dojo with the mail)
Speaking of Trist...got a postcard from him!
IZZY FROST:
Family's doing great...missing you guys in Forest Hills. Will return soon with plenty of fish!
[Suddenly the sensor alarms ring. Andrew checks his hand-held tablet-like device.]
ANDREW FROST:
There's a Rage in the neighborhood where Xavier's at!
IAN FROST:
We're outta here!
[The four rush out of the dojo.]
EXT.-CITY-QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD-HOUSE-DAY
[The four rangers, already morphed, and join the Blue Ranger.]
LAWNMOWER RAGE:
I'm Lawnmower Rage...and I'm gonna mow you down!
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
One of those corrupted Shurikens got onto my lawnmower!
[Lawnmower Rage fires a beam at the Red and White Rangers, and controls them...but briefly, as it quickly wears off.]
LAWNMOWER RAGE:
Ah! You guys are no fun! I'm just not feeling it today!
[The Rage takes off, leaving the five rangers bewildered.]
INT.-CITY-DOJO-SHINOBI OPS-DAY
[Back at the dojo, the core team members analyze the Rage.]
BROOK PADILLA:
It seems that the Rage can only control one person at a time...and for only a short period of time.
IAN FROST:
I will hold back whoever wants to be the bait while the others destroy the Rage.
X WYATT:
It's my lawnmower...I will be the bait.
IAN FROST:
Okay...it's settled. Let's go get him!
EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY
[Later, in the park, the rangers are battling Lawnmower Rage and a small platoon of Kageoni. The rangers' plan seems to work initially...but snowballs. Lawnmower Rage releases his control beam, and seems to hit the Blue Ranger...but misses.]
YELLOW SHINOBI RANGER:
(pretending)
It got X!
[The Red Ranger holds the Blue Ranger, but the Blue Ranger breaks free, and starts to attack the others with his katana. Soon, the Blue Ranger and Lawnmower Rage retreat.]
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
Well, that didn't go as expected.
WHITE SHINOBI RANGER:
Did that beam hit him?
PINK SHINOBI RANGER:
No. It missed him by inches.
YELLOW SHINOBI RANGER:
Could X be playing him? That's even more calculating than me!
INT.-CITY-DOJO-SHINOBI OPS-DAY
[The team reviews what happened.]
BROOK PADILLA:
You're right, Josh! X isn't being controlled...but may be acting like he is to prevent the Rage from using that beam!
voice of X WYATT:
Shinobi Ops...come in!
ANDREW FROST:
Go ahead Xavier...are you okay?
voice of X WYATT:
Yeah! Just to let you guys know...we're at the beach. I just had to give the Rage a massage...and I have a plan to separate the Rage's Shuriken from the lawnmower.
IAN FROST:
We're on our way, X!
[The four ninja students leave the base.]
EXT.-BEACH-DAY
[X has had enough of waiting on Lawnmower Rage hand and foot.]
LAWNMOWER RAGE:
What are you doing, Blue Ranger!?
X WYATT:
You are not in control of me!
[X takes out his Morph Shuriken, and attaches it to his Katana Morpher.]
Morph Shuriken, Set!
[X spins his Shuriken on the weapon to morph.]
Shinobi Power!
[The Shinobi Ranger suit forms over X's body.]
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
Geo Shuriken, Set! Fire Power!
[The Blue Ranger engulfs the blade of the katana in flames as the White Ranger leaps in with her katana and Geo Shuriken set on the same setting as the Blue Ranger's to execute a double flame attack on the Rage. The two rangers land, and high-five each other.]
LAWNMOWER RAGE:
(angered)
Kageoni, arise!
[The Kageoni appear as the other three rangers "ninja-streak" in.]
PINK SHINOBI RANGER:
We're here, X!
ALL RANGERS:
(posing)
We Are Shinobi...But We Don't Hide! Power Rangers, hya!
[The Rage gets ready to use his control beam again.]
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
(spinning the Shuriken on his katana)
Geo Shuriken! Water Power! Reflection!
[The Rage's beam hits the mirror, and reflects back to him. The Rage briefly controls himself, and takes out his minions in confusion.]
LAWNMOWER RAGE:
What!!!??? What did I just do!?
YELLOW SHINOBI RANGER:
(patting the Blue Ranger on the shoulder)
You just got owned, that's what!
[The Yellow Ranger snaps his fingers, and points his index finger at the Rage.]
Checkmate!
[The Blue Ranger installs his Morph Shuriken onto the katana, and presses the blue button. The katana blade powers up.]
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
(as he leaps up to slash the Rage)
Dragon Claw!
[The Rage cackles in blue energy bolts, and sparks before collapsing in defeat. Monukye suddenly appears with her mallet and Demon Shuriken.]
MONUKYE:
(sighing as she works to revive and enlarge the Rage)
Geez, rangers! Again?
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
You line them up...we knock them down!
MONUKYE:
Lawnmower Rage! Enlarge with darkness and rage on!
[Monukye vanishes as the Rage revives and enlarges.]
ALL RANGERS:
We summon the true Shinobi Power! Shinobizords...rise!
[The five rangers summon their zords, and leap up to board them.]
ALL RANGERS:
Shinobizords...combine!
[The Shinobizords all combine into their megazord forms, and stand ready.]
ALL RANGERS:
Shinobi Megazord...Drago Mode! Ready!
[The megazord tries to attack, but Lawnmower Rage disables it.]
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
(holding up the UFO Shuriken)
Let's try this.
[The Red Ranger places the Shuriken onto his katana, and spins it.]
I summon the power of the UFO!
[The UFO Shinobizord is summoned, and arrives to the scene.]
Auxiliary Combine!
[The UFO Shinobizord leaps up into the control seat, and the Red Ranger takes center control.]
ALL RANGERS:
Shinobi Megazord...Alien Mode! Ready!
[Before the megazord can attack, it too is disabled.]
WHITE SHINOBI RANGER:
(frustrated)
Nothing we try is working!
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
Whoa! Oops! I forgot to give the SeaGlider Shuriken to Trist before he left.
PINK SHINOBI RANGER:
But he drove the zord to Catalina.
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
We need to summon it, regardless.
[The Red Ranger places the Shuriken onto his katana, spins it.]
I Call On The Shinobi SeaGlider!
EXT.-CATALINA ISLAND-AVALON-HARBOR-DAY
[The SeaGlider Shinobizord shakes as it starts to move, jostling Trist, who is in the middle of a meal around a bit.]
TRIST EMERSON:
(regaining his composure)
Guess we're going for a ride!
voice of RED SHINOBI RANGER:
Sorry to disturb your vacay...but we need to use the zord for a few minutes.
TRIST EMERSON:
No worries, bro!
[Trist takes out his Morph Shuriken, and attaches it to his Riff LaserBlade.]
Morph Shuriken, Set!
[Trist spins his Shuriken on the weapon to morph.]
Shinobi Power!
[The Shinobi Ranger suit forms over Trist's body.]
EXT.-BEACH-DAY
[The zord rises from the depths of the very large lake. It soon transforms from submarine form into it's humanoid form, riding a surfboard.]
RED SHINOBI RANGER:
Auxiliary Combine!
[The Warrior Shinobizord "hops out" of the combination as the SeaGlider Shinobizord "hops up," and the surfboard attaches onto the feet of the megazord. The Gold Ranger then joins the others in the cockpit.]
ALL RANGERS:
Shinobi Megazord...SeaGlider Mode! Ready!
[The megazord swiftly surfs toward the Rage.]
GOLD SHINOBI RANGER:
Is there a plan?
BLUE SHINOBI RANGER:
Yeah. Let me take care of business!
[The Blue Ranger takes control of the megazord, and controls the robot to strike the rage with the Shinobi Saber right in the forehead. The lawnmower returns to normal as it has been separated from the Shuriken. Everyone, especially the Blue Ranger celebrates in the cockpit.]
EXT.-CITY-QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD-HOUSE-DAY
[With an hour or so of sunlight left, X finishes the task of mowing his neighbor's yard. The others see the elderly neighbor come outside to thank X for his hard work.]
TRIST EMERSON:
Well, I better get back to Catalina to wrap up my vacation...and get that fish for the fish-fry I'm planning!
IZZY FROST:
(as Trist departs)
Let's go visit Grandpa! There's got to be a way that we can convince him to take Trist on as a student.
[The four leave for the dojo.]
EXT.-FOREST-NIGHT
[As a thick fog rolls in, a large lion appears. TO BE CONTINUED...]
