INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-SHAWN'S QUARTERS-NIGHT
[Shawn is sleeping soundly, until he gets a knock at the door. Sawn gets up out of bed to answer the door...it's Melissa!]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Melissa...it's almost midnight...what are you doing here?
MELISSA OWENS:
Got into an argument with my mom over this silly pimple...can I sleep here tonight?
SHAWN PATRICK:
I guess so.
[Shawn welcomes Melissa in, and shuts the door.]
You take the bed...I'll take the couch.
[Melissa goes to his bed. Meanwhile, the communicator on Shawn's morpher beeps. So as not to disturb Melissa, he goes out into the hallway.]
This is Shawn, go ahead?
voice of PIPER McCALL:
Shawn...this is Piper. By any chance, is Melissa there?
SHAWN PATRICK:
Yes, Doctor McCall...she is here is my quarters. I'm letting her crash on my bed while I take the couch for the night.
voice of PIPER McCALL:
Okay...I'll check up on her in the morning.
[Shawn re-enters the room to find Melissa fast asleep. Melissa is sleeping on her side, turned to a wall. She mutters something in her sleep as a small horn protrudes from her forehead, where her pimple was.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-NIGHT
[Fyriza welcomes her two Phangata...Unicor...a Phantom Unicorn-Style warrior...and Pixix, a Phantom Pixie-Style warrior as everyone else watches.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
So...you two are my personal Phangata...Unicor and Pixix.
UNICOR:
Mistress...My skills are already in effect. I can control the minds of Stone Canyon's children.
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Pixix...I'm sure your powers are amazing, but Unicor's plans are already in action. Uni, let's go.
[As Fyriza leaves the palace with Unicor, Lionix looks unsettled as he stares at Chimeres.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-TRAINING ROOM-DAY
[During morning workouts, Piper enters and tells the others about Melissa. Shawn walks in all disheveled, like he got no sleep at all.]
PIPER McCALL:
Shawn...how is she?
SHAWN PATRICK:
(yawning)
Still asleep...I think.
[Shawn and Piper go to his quarters.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-SHAWN'S QUARTERS-DAY
[Shawn and Piper enter his quarters to find that Melissa is gone...and Piper is very worried.]
PIPER McCALL:
Oh, where is she!?
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Everyone runs around the surrounding area searching for Melissa. Piper and Shawn walk by a electronics store with a bunch of televisions in a window with the news turned on. The news anchor tells of missing children.]
NEWS ANCHOR:
There are mass reports of missing children in the city. Parents say that the children complained about pimples or other blemishes on their foreheads. If you have a missing child, please call the Stone Canyon Police Department at five-five-five-two thousand.
PIPER McCALL:
A pimple!? That's what Melissa had!
[The two see many kids walking around in a trance-like daze, with horns on their forehead...walking somewhere in a group.]
Why do I have a feeling that the Phantoms are up to this? Let's follow them!
[Piper and Shawn follow the kids.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-DAY
[Lionix comes off of his throne to...inspect Chimeres, who just stands there.]
LIONIX:
You're just standing there?
MASTER CHIMERES:
Something bothering you, little lion cub?
LIONIX:
How dare you insult your king like that!
MASTER CHIMERES:
I thought you didn't want to be the king? Besides...you still reek of Dark-Spirit energy, and...do I smell a hint of the Light-Spirits?
LIONIX:
(angered)
Lion Charge!
[Lionix sends his aura to Chimeres, but he deflects it. The two then battle hard. Chimeres performs a hand move that reminds Lionix of who Chimeres really is.]
Chris!?
MASTER CHIMERES:
Jordan!
[The two remember their human pasts.]
EXT.-CITY-ABANDONED MANSION-DAY
[Shawn and Piper follow the kids and see that they are entering an old abandoned mansion. Shawn sees Fyriza ushering the kids in.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Fyriza!
[Shawn insta-morphs into the Red Jungle Ranger.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Red Ranger!
[The three battle, Fyriza kicks the Red Ranger, then battles in hand-to-hand combat with Piper.]
PIPER McCALL:
Leopard Punch!
[Piper aura-attacks Fyriza, who falls back a bit. Piper takes to the air and delivers a roundhouse kick to Fyriza.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Let's turn up the heat!
RED FURY RANGER:
Piper! Get to safety!
PIPER McCALL:
No! Melissa's inside!
[The other rangers jump in as Fyriza tries to stop Piper and the Red Ranger from going inside.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Going somewhere, hot shot?
INT.-CITY-ABANDONED MANSION-DAY
[The Red Ranger and Piper try find where the kids are. After some time searching, the two come to a large room, and see several kids (including Melissa) standing in a circle while in a deep trance.]
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Piper! They're in here!
[They both try to shake the kids out of the trance, but it is useless.]
UNICOR:
Hello, Red Ranger!
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
What've you done to these kids!?
PIPER McCALL:
Yeah, what did you do to my daughter!?
UNICOR:
Your daughter? She, and all these kids belong to me now! Once I am done with them, they will perish!
[The Red Ranger angerly charges at the monster.]
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
(charging)
Why, you!
[Unicor punches the Red Ranger, twice, then gives him a kick with his powerful hind les, which knocks him back.]
PIPER McCALL:
Shawn! You okay?
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
(grimacing in pain, then recovering)
Yeah!
UNICOR:
I am a Phantom Unicorn-Style warrior...Unicor!
[Piper and the Red Ranger take defensive stances.]
Trance Wave!
[The horn on Unicor's left shoulder glows, and makes the kids' horns glow a golden color, which sends energy into the circle, then up through the roof of the building into the sky, infecting other kids.]
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Fists of Fury, Power Up!
[The Red Ranger upgrades into Fury Mode, and charges at Unicor, but Melissa steps in front of the monster to shield him, stopping the Red Ranger in his tracks.]
RED FURY RANGER:
Whoa! Melissa...move out of the way!
MELISSA OWENS:
(in a trance, sounding creepy)
I'm afraid I cannot do that, Red Ranger.
[Melissa kicks the Red Ranger in the leg. The kids, led by Melissa start battling Piper and the Red Ranger. The two have no choice but to defend themselves.]
EXT.-CITY-ABANDONED MANSION-DAY
[Meanwhile, outside, the four other rangers continue to battle Fyriza. She tosses them to the ground, but they recover as Fyriza flies in.]
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER AND YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Fury Claw! Fists Of Fury, Power Up!
[The Fury Claws appear in their right hands, and they upgrade to Fury Mode as Fyriza battles the Royal Wolf Ranger and White Rhino Ranger. The two Fury Rangers charge at her, she responds by tossing them up to the middle of some steps, ten they roll down.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Wolf Power Punch!
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
Twister Barrage!
[The two try their attacks, but Fyriza dodges them by flying upward.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Fire Desire!
[Fyriza's flames "lick" the four rangers.]
INT.-CITY-ABANDONED MANSION-DAY
[The kids continue to get to Piper and the Red Ranger. One kid knocks down the ranger, then all the kids stomp on him. Piper is still trying to get through to her daughter.]
PIPER McCALL:
Melissa...you got to snap out of it!
[Piper hugs Melissa, breaking the trance. The horns shatter as the Red Ranger recovers.]
UNICOR:
What!? No!
PIPER McCALL:
Come on kids...let's go find your parents.
[Piper and the kids leave the mansion.]
UNICOR:
Horn Spin!
[Unicor gets the Red Ranger with a tornadic spin. He then blade-fights the Fury-Clawed Red Ranger.]
RED FURY RANGER:
Shark Sabers! Super Wave Slash!
[The Red Ranger slices Unicor to make him crackle in blue lightning bolts.]
UNICOR:
Phantom Growth!
[The monster grows while inside the mansion. The Red Ranger retreats as Unicor's growth destroys the building. The monster then sees the kids, and punches the ground, making the kids flee in fear.]
CORE RANGERS:
Beast Megazord!
[The megazord battles the monster while the other rangers and Piper get the kids to safety. Unicor then uses his blades, but the megazord deflects them as Fyriza and Flyto watch. Unicor kicks the megazord with it's hind legs, making the robot flail and spark.]
PIPER McCALL:
(quietly)
Dillon...can I borrow the Rhino Summoner?
WHITE RANGER JUNGLE RANGER:
Okay...we'll work together! Wolf...get them to safety!
PIPER McCALL AND WHITE RHINO RANGER:
I summon...the Rhino Junglezord!
[The two appear in the cockpit as the Junglezord converts to megazord mode.]
Rhino Megazord! Transformation complete!
YELLOW FURY RANGER:
Whoa! Piper's with Dillon over there!
PIPER McCALL:
(in full control of the megazord)
Let me at 'em!
[Piper moves the Beast Megazord out of the way with the Rhino Sword.]
Unicor! You hurt my daughter! Now I'm gonna make you pay dearly!
[The Rhino Megazord battles the monster and knocks him down. The monster sends energy to the megazord.]
UNICOR:
Unicorando!
[The tornadic energy zaps the megazord, shocking the White Rhino Ranger.]
PIPER McCALL:
Rhino Great Shock!
[The megazord tornado strikes the monster.]
Sword Extend Strike!
[The megazord draws it's symbol and destroys Unicor. The Royal Wolf Ranger and Melissa celebrate by dancing in a circle.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
(angerly)
The day will come rangers...the Phantoms will win!
[Fyriza vanishes.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-DAY
[Lionix continues to battle Chimeres, who performs the same move (like earlier) again.]
LIONIX:
You are him! You are Christopher!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The students, Melissa, and Piper reunite.]
MELISSA OWENS:
Mom...I'm sorry for the way I acted.
PIPER McCALL:
It's okay...you were under alien control.
MELISSA OWENS:
And Shawn...thanks for helping me out.
SHAWN PATRICK:
You're welcome.
PIPER McCALL:
Come on...let's go get some ice cream. See 'ya back at the academy, guys!
[The students watch proudly as Piper and Melissa walk off in the sunset holding each other.]
