[Chimeres dies as Shawn lets out a primal scream, and weeps over his fathers lifeless body.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Don't go, father! Don't go!
MASTER CHIMERES:
Son, you...must follow...our own...path. I'm...proud of...you...Red...Ranger!
EXT.-FOREST-WATERFALL-DAY
[Kenny is still in the waterfall training to achieve the Apex Strike, Grand Master Sai's master skill. Soon, Kenny masters the skill, with a pleased penguin nearby.]
MISTRESS PENGI:
Kenny! You did it!
[Kenny is happy, and pumps his fist into the air and performs the full skill to cut-off the waterfall, leaving a slight rainbow.]
KENNY TANAKA:
I feel ready to take on Gryphar...and defeat him!
EXT.-FOREST-QUARRY-DAY
[Yoshi, Jazz, and Dillon race toward Shawn, and see him hugging Chimeres' dead body.]
MASTER DRACO:
Chimeres, you fool! Do I have to do everything for you?
[Draco snaps his fingers to resurrect Chimeres, who still seems weakened, as he gets up, and stumbles away from Shawn. Tao arrives, and stands near the other students. An exhausted Shawn also gets up.]
MASTER CHIMERES:
Shawn...listen to me...you...must destroy me. It's...the only way!
SHAWN PATRICK:
I can't! You're my father!
MASTER CHIMERES:
You must, son! For the...sake of the universe.
SHAWN PATRICK:
(preparing to morph)
Jungle Fury...Beast On! Fists Of Fury...Power Up!
[Shawn morphs into his Fury Mode. The Red Ranger ignites is rockets and races to Chimeres, and strikes him in the stomach with his Fury Claw. Fire engulfs the two, making Shawn de-morph. Shawn then looks up to see his father's human figure, with the soul heading to heaven.]
CHRIS PATRICK:
I'm proud of you, son! Thank you!
SHAWN PATRICK:
(crying)
I love you, dad!
CHRIS PATRICK:
I love you too, son. Take care of your mother.
[Chris ascends to heaven as tears drip from Shawn's face, and the others react.]
MASTER TAO:
(saluting)
You were a good man, Chris...godspeed.
SHAWN PATRICK:
The way he talked about my mother...she's still alive!
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-DAY
[A meditating Gryphar suddenly wakes up, sensing immense power. He starts to rush out the doors, only to be confronted by Fyriza.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Where are you going, my love?
KING GRYPHAR:
To battle. I sense immense power!
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Stay here...with me!
KING GRYPHAR:
I can't right now.
[Gryphar departs the palace, ignoring Fyriza. The doors close behind him. Fyriza turns away from the doors and looks worried for Gryphar. Baz then walks in.]
MASTER BAZ:
He'll be okay...Draco is the one you should worry about.
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
(ensnaring Baz with her metallic tongue)
What did you say? Why should I worry about Draco?
MASTER BAZ:
(pressured)
I can't tell you...I've already said too much!
EXT.-BEACH-DAY
[Gryphar searches for Shawn, only to find Kenny laying on the grass, sniffing a flower.]
KENNY TANAKA:
'Bout time you showed up!
KING GRYPHAR:
Very funny...I was expecting the Red Ranger.
KENNY TANAKA:
Well, you got me instead...I'm the one with the power you seek to destroy.
[Kenny and Gryphar get set to battle, but Catostrophix interrupts by trying to blast Kenny.]
KENNY TANAKA:
(preparing to morph)
You! Wolf Fury...Beast On!
[The Royal Wolf Ranger suit forms over Kenny.]
CATOSTROPHIX:
What are you up to, ranger?
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
None of your concern...it's for me to know and for his majesty to find out! Let's go!
[Pengi looks on from below as the two get set for battle.]
CATOSTROPHIX:
Catostrophic Shockwave!
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Strong Elbow!
[The Royal Wolf Ranger uses an arm slash, then leaps upward.]
Wolf Superstrike!
[The Royal Wolf Ranger knees Catostrophix, who then sparks, and goes down.]
Apex Strike!
[The Royal Wolf Ranger flies into the air, and spirals down onto Catostrophix, who flails backward, as the ranger lands. Gryphar is un-fazed as the Phangata explodes behind him.]
KING GRYPHAR:
Impressive...new skill?
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Brand new.
KING GRYPHAR:
It still won't defeat me.
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
We'll see about that.
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-PIPER'S OFFICE-DAY
[Piper is sitting at her desk looking at a framed picture of her, Kenny, and Jordan in the good old days, and recalling some old memories. Suddenly, the glass cracks, surprising Piper.]
EXT.-FOREST-QUARRY-DAY
[The others move in to comfort Shawn.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
I will avenge my father...by continuing to be a Power Ranger...the Red...Power Ranger!
EXT.-BEACH-DAY
[The Royal Wolf Ranger is battling Gryphar. The Royal Wolf Ranger elbows G=ryphar, who then attacks and knocks him down, then recovers.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Apex Strike!
[The Royal Wolf Ranger uses his new skill to attack the evil monarch, who catches the ranger, and tosses him up and over. When the Royal Wolf Ranger is upside-down, Gryphar defends.]
KING GRYPHAR:
Divine Strike!
[Gryphar palm-punches the Royal Wolf Ranger to send him flying back several hundred feet into the ocean.]
MISTRESS PENGI:
Kenny!
KING GRYPHAR:
You are a waste of my time! My war is with the Red Ranger!
[Gryphar starts to depart as Kenny recovers and gets out of the water.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Yo, power hog! Looking for me!?
KING GRYPHAR:
You!
[The others arrive on scene to help Kenny.]
KENNY TANAKA:
Get him, Shawn!
ALL:
Go, Shawn!
[Pengi and Tao look on as well.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-PIPER'S OFFICE-DAY
[Piper puts the framed picture down, and prays for the welfare of the team.]
PIPER McCALL:
Good luck, rangers!
EXT.-BEACH-DAY
[Gryphar and Shawn continue to stare down and taunt each other.]
KING GRYPHAR:
You're going down!
SHAWN PATRICK:
I don't think so!
[The two charge into hand-to-hand combat.]
KING GRYPHAR:
You're father was weak in his last battle...that's why I defeated him so easily! Now...it's your turn! Divine Strike!
[Gryphar palm-punches Shawn, but he quickly recovers.]
You're weak, Red Ranger...just like your father...WEAK!
EXT.-OCEAN-ROCKS-DAY
[The scene shifts to the rocky jetty, as both sides yell to charge their auras, which manifest, and attack, causing fire to occur all over the battlefield. Shawn then insta-morphs into the Red Fury Ranger, and the two continue to battle. Draco and Fyriza show up to watch the battle.]
MASTER DRACO:
Destroy him, Gryphar!
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
(whispering to herself)
Gryphar!
[The other students get closer to the battle to cheer on the Red Ranger. During the battle, Gryphar palm-punches then grabs the Red Ranger's helmet, and knees it, which damages the helmet by knocking a hole into the right side of the visor, then knocks the ranger into the water. Gryphar the rushes into the surf and starts to battle the Red Ranger.]
RED FURY RANGER:
Fury Tiger!
[The Red Ranger uses his skill to knock Gryphar down a notch. Gryphar tries to leave, but cackles with black and orange lightning, then seems to explode as the students and a very exhausted Red Ranger celebrate.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
(yelling in shock and disbelief)
Gryphar!
[The Red Ranger comes out of the water and into the arms of his comrades. All of a sudden, a lion growl is heard...Gryphar comes out of the flames and grows.]
MASTER DRACO:
Oh, my! This is better than I thought!
[Gryphar lets out his energy, knocking everyone down.]
DILLON HARRINGTON:
That does it! Rhino Fury...Beast On!
[Dillon morphs into the White Rhino Jungle Ranger, then whips out the Rhino Summoner.]
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
Rhino Junglezord!
[The Junglezord charges to the scene. The White Rhino Ranger then boards the huge zord.]
High Stance Mode!
[The Junglezord stands up to form it's warrior mode.]
Rhino Megazord, Awaken!
[The megazord stands ready as Gryphar's energy burst makes the megazord spark.]
Sword Extend Strike!
[The megazord tries it's main finisher. It performs the first two of three slices, but Gryphar cackles with blue electricity bolts, and locks the third slice. He puts his hands on the Rhino Sword to invert the energy flow back to the megazord, and electrocutes the White Rhino Ranger in the cockpit.]
Aw, man! That's brutal!
KING GRYPHAR:
Divine Strike!
[Gryphar palm-punches the megazord, knocking it back several thousand feet. Dillon rolls toward the others, unmorphed.]
ALL STUDENTS:
Dillon!
RED FURY RANGER:
You big bully!
[Draco laughs maniacally.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Gryphar! Stop this, now!
[Gryphar looks down at Fyriza, which breaks the king free from his growth, and shrinks down to size, and lands on the beach.]
MASTER DRACO:
(shocked)
No, way!
[Gryphar recovers to his knees.]
KING GRYPHAR:
(disoriented)
What happened!?
[The students race to check on Gryphar, but Draco blasts them.]
MASTER DRACO:
Not so fast, rangers! Gryphar! You are not fit to be the king! You're pathetic!
[Fyriza leaps in and kicks Draco away from behind.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Out of my way, dragon breath! Come on, Gryphar...let me get you to safety!
[Gryphar and Fyriza teleport out.]
MASTER DRACO:
(angered)
That fool!
[Draco teleports out after recovering. The students recover to see the Phantom in-fighting.]
JAZZ RUSSO:
What was that all about!?
SHAWN PATRICK:
Whatever it is, it can't be good!
[Master Tao looks worried as the students look bewildered.]
