[Shawn remembers what Piper said to him earlier.]
PIPER McCALL:
Shawn...you...are his son.
FLASHBACK #2
[Shawn then remembers what Gryphar said to him earlier.]
KING GRYPHAR:
You, Red Ranger...are number one on my list to be destroyed.
FLASHBACK #3
[Shawn then remembers what he said to Chimeres.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
I am your son!
EXT.-DESERT-NIGHT
[The flashbacks stop. Shawn is sitting on a large rock in the middle of a desert-like area, dejected, and still emotionally drained...he buries his head in his ands and starts to cry.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-NIGHT
[The Phantom Generals talk. Then, Gryphar enters the balcony area, and the generals salute and bow to their king.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Your majesty...the Red Ranger shouldn't be a problem to us anymore.
KING GRYPHAR:
Don't be so sure, Fyriza. He may be down for now, but he's not out yet. Draco...the time has come for you to activate your two Phangata.
MASTER DRACO:
Yes, sire.
[Fyriza and Draco exit the room to head for the tunnels under the palace.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-CLASSROOM-DAY
[In the morning, Tao and Piper talk about Shawn, seeing that he just barely got back to the academy two hours ago.]
PIPER McCALL:
Tao, I'm worried about Shawn...he was out all night, and just got back a couple hours ago.
MASTER TAO:
I'll talk to him. I know how hard this must be for him.
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-TRAINING ROOM-DAY
[The students talk about Shawn as they work out. Yoshi is working out with the Robo Trainer.]
JAZZ RUSSO:
Man, poor Shawn!
YOSHI TANAKA:
I heard that he was out all night, and just got back.
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Yeah...I saw him come in...he was just moping around. It even looked like he was crying.
KENNY TANAKA:
Right now, he's outside at the temple, practicing his speed-punching that Abby taught him about a year ago.
YOSHI TANAKA:
It's what relaxed him during the battle with the Venoms.
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-TUNNELS-DAY
[SATYRAN, a Phantom Capricorn-Style warrior, and RODERROW, a Phantom Addanc-Style warrior are in a practice room, that's set up like a laboratory. Satyran practices some moves as Roderrow bugs him.]
SATYRAN:
Air Script!
[Fyriza enters the roo with Draco to inspect the two Phangata, who bow down to the two Phantom-Spirit Masters.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
(inspecting the Phangata)
Excellent!
MASTER DRACO:
Now go and create chaos and destruction.
[The two Phangata depart the palace.]
EXT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-TEMPLE-DAY
[At the temple, Shawn sits near the cherry tree, with tears in his eyes. The others go to cheer him up.]
JAZZ RUSSO:
Shawn, are you okay?
SHAWN PATRICK:
I don;t know...I don't know what to think anymore, Jazz. I think I had it better in the jungle...
KENNY TANAKA:
You got to move on, Shawn...you are not gonna quit on us!
YOSHI TANAKA:
Yeah! We'll get through all of this...together!
[The communicator on Yoshi's morpher beeps.]
voice of PIPER McCALL:
Rangers...trouble in the city.
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Come on. Let's go battle together.
SHAWN PATRICK:
Alright. Let's see how it goes.
JAZZ RUSSO:
Come on everyone...we gotta go.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Roderrow is in the city creating problems. The five students arrive, with Dillon attacking with his Rhino Dagger. The students prepare to battle, but Shawn is still an emotional wreck.]
RODERROW:
Blue Arrow!
[Roderrow tries to attack, but the students (except for Shawn) insta-morph. The four rangers take the blast as Shawn watches. They recover, and charge at the Phangata, who attacks.]
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Cheetah Speed Punch!
[The Yellow Ranger punches at rapid speeds.]
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
Twister Barrage!
[The White Rhino Ranger fires the Rhino Dagger.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Wolf Power Punch! Canine Cut!
[The Royal Wolf Ranger punches, then kicks.]
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER:
Jungle Cannon!
[The cannon appears in the Blue Ranger's hands. The Yellow Ranger joins the Blue Ranger to operate the cannon.]
Come on, Shawn!
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
We need you!
[Roderrow starts to advance on the rangers, so the Royal Wolf Ranger and White Rhino Ranger help the Blue Ranger fire the weapon, as the Yellow Ranger talks to Shawn.]
ALL RANGERS (Blue/Wolf/Rhino):
Ultra Fury Blast!
[The blast knocks Roderrow around.]
RODERROW:
(laughing)
Ooh! That tickles!
[The monster leaps to the air, and spins away. The Yellow Ranger then de-morphs.]
JAZZ RUSSO:
Shawn...you'll always have us to talk to.
SHAWN PATRICK:
(looking depressed)
I...don't...think I can...be a ranger...anymore...
[Shawn's Jungle Morpher pieces automatically release and fall off, and hit the ground.]
I'm...sorry, guys.
[Shawn runs off as Tao watches. The other rangers just look on in shock.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-TUNNELS-DAY
[Fyriza gets after Roderrow, but Satyran protects him.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
You ran from the fight!? You could've finished them!
SATYRAN:
Hey, leave him alone...he did his job...he absorbed some of the Light-Spirit Power for me.
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
What are you planning?
SATYRAN:
An immunity.
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Shawn uses the Shark Junglezord to travel to the jungle. Shawn jumps out of the zord, and lands on the ground. The zord turns around and goes back into the water.]
MASTER TAO:
Enjoy your trip?
SHAWN PATRICK:
Sensei!? You...followed me?
MASTER TAO:
Yes...it looks like you can use some cheering up?
SHAWN PATRICK:
It's all the stuff...about...my father. Who he was...and who he is now.
MASTER TAO:
Your father was a good man, Shawn...but it was Jordan's jealousy that did him in. The one you should really e angry at is Draco. If it wasn't for his interference, your father would've had a very good chance in defeating Jordan. Do you want me to take you to our father's hometown?
SHAWN PATRICK:
Okay.
EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY
[Roderrow uses his VANISHING ACT skill to make innocent citizens dissappear in the ampetheater. The monster then celebrates on the outdoor stage. Roderrow's celebration, however is short-lived as the rangers arrive on scene.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
(attacking by air)
Leave those people alone!
[The Royal Wolf Ranger punches the monster as the others flank him.]
BLUE FURY RANGER:
Charge!
[The four rangers charge Roderrow, but he spin-attacks, and tries to use Vanishing Act, but the rangers' powers deflect it.]
RODERROW:
(upset)
No!
[Satyran arrives...fully grown!]
ROYAL WOLF RANGER:
Yoshi...Jazz...you handle Roderrow. Dillon and I will take care of this other guy.
BLUE FURY RANGER:
Dillon! Can I borrow the Rhino Dagger? I got an idea!
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
(tossing the weapon to the Blue Ranger)
Sure...
[The White Rhino Ranger, with the Rhino Summoner in hand, activates his zord.]
I summon the Rhino!
[The Rhino Junglezord arrives, and the White Rhino Ranger gets on, then in.]
High Stance Mode!
[The Junglezord stands up to form it's warrior mode.]
Rhino Megazord...awaken!
[The face-plate opens up, and it's eyes glow along with the Rhino Sword.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Jungle Unity!
[The Tiger, Panther, and Wolf Junglezords arrive, and form the Jungle Fury Megazord's Predator Mode. Satyran charges and Punches the megazords to knock them back. Meanwhile, below, the two Fury Rangers battle Roderrow (with the megazord battle in the background).]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Tao and Shawn continue to talk and walk towards his father's hometown. Then, Fyriza shows up and attacks the two with her flames.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Man, I'm totally fed up with these Phantoms!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The battle rages on. Satyran uses fire to attack the Rhino Megazord, but the giant robot protects itself with it's face-plate and shield, then uses it's sword. The Jungle Fury Megazord punches the monster. On the ground, Roderrow leaps onto a building's rooftop, with the two Fury Rangers close behind. The rangers battle for a bit.]
BLUE FURY RANGER:
Fury Claw...Rhino Dagger...combine! Fury Dagger!
[The Blue Ranger combines the two weapons, then it powers up.]
Panther Fury Slash!
[Meanwhile, the two megazords continue to battle the giant Satyran.]
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
That does it! Sword Extend Strike!
[The megazord makes it's mark against the monster as the Fury Rangers use the Fury Dagger on Roderrow. Both Phangata appear to simultaneously explode, but the two switch spots at the last minute. Draco is pleased as he watches from afar.]
YELLOW FURY RANGER:
(in shock)
What!?
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
(in shock)
No, way!
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
(in shock)
Aw, man!
BLUE FURY RANGER:
(in shock)
This is bad!
[Roderrow spin-attacks the zords as Satyran goes after the Fury Rangers.]
SATYRAN:
You're mine, kitties!
[Satyran spins and knocks away the rangers' weapons, then spark-strikes them.]
RODERROW:
Blue Arrow!
[Roderrow spark-strikes the two megazords. Satyran then blasts the Fury Rangers.]
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Fyriza is still going after Tao and Shawn, who run to get away.]
MASTER TAO:
(running)
Shawn! Morph!
SHAWN PATRICK:
(running)
Can't! Don't have my morpher!
[The two come to the edge of a cliff. Fyriza has them trapped. Fyriza tries to attack Shawn, but he dodges.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
(fire forms in the palms of her hands.)
Fire Desire!
[Fyriza hurls flames at the two, who are blasted off the cliff, and seem to fall to the bottom. TO BE CONTINUED...]
