[Down in the depths of the dark, abandoned palace, a Dark-Tortoise Style warrior named Shelldrix awakens.]
SHELLDRIX:
(weakly)
Now…time to resurrect an old friend to exact my revenge!
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-SCRAP HEAP-NIGHT
[Argo is visiting the remains of Yogo. He dreams that Yogo is still alive, with all three generals battling the rangers…and winning. Soon, Metalia enters inadvertently interrupts Argo’s daydream.]
ARGO:
What is it, Metalia?
METALIA:
I just wanted to let you know that your Machine Knight is ready to send out.
ARGO:
I’ll send him in the morning.
METALIA:
(trying to comfort her comrade)
I know you miss him, Argo…I do too.
ARGO:
We won’t miss him for long…I vow to rebuild him!
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[The team is running the business on what is turning out to be a normal day.]
EXT.-STONE CANYON-FOREST-DAY
[A young adult male is walking around…it is Shawn Patrick, the former Red Jungle Ranger on another one of his hikes. Dangling around his neck is a golden sphere, known as the “Draco Ball,” that contains the dormant spirit of his arch-nemesis…Draco. Suddenly, Shawn is accosted by a blue and brown being.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Who are you!?
SHELLDRIX:
None of your concern, Light-Tiger! Now, give me that sphere!
SHAWN PATRICK:
Never!
[Shawn tries to perform the wushu pose to morph, but he does not have his Jungle Morpher. Without his powers, Shawn is easily overpowered, and is knocked down.]
Wish I had my ranger powers about now!
SHELLDRIX:
(as he rips the “Draco Ball” from Shawn’s neck)
I am Shelldrix…a Dark-Tortoise Style warrior! With this, I will resurrect the Phantom-Spirit Master known as Draco!
SHAWN PATRICK:
(shocked)
You can’t!
SHELLDRIX:
I know I can’t…but I do know someone that can!
[Shelldrix vanishes. Shawn knows that he must get to the Academy to get some help.]
EXT.-ANGEL GROVE-CITY-DAY
[Argo’s Machine Knight, Shogunuck is attacking the city. The seven team members arrive to confront him.]
RYDER SWANSON:
Hey, you!
SHOGUNUCK:
Ah, the famous Power Rangers! I am Shogunuck…your worst nightmare! Gearoids…attack!
[A swarm of minion soldiers appear from a swirling cloud of nuts and bolts to form the menacing robots.]
ADAM PARK:
So much for a peaceful day!
ALL:
(as they prepare their morphers)
Start Up!
[The suits “flash-form” over the seven, who charge into action against the Gearoids.]
INT.-STONE CANYON-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-DAY
[Shawn arrives, and is greeted by everyone. He then tells everyone about his encounter, and theft of the “Draco Ball.”]
DR. PIPER McCALL:
Are you sure he was a Dark-Spirit warrior?
MASTER TAO:
The only one I can think of is Shelldrix…a Dark-Tortoise Style warrior.
SHAWN PATRICK:
We have to get the sphere back. He claimed that he knew of a way to resurrect Draco.
MASTER TAO:
(meditating)
I can sense that the sphere is in Angel Grove.
KENNY TANAKA:
Then that is where we are going.
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[Shelldrix arrives, catching the two generals off guard.]
ARGO:
Who are you?
SHELLDRIX:
I am Shelldrix. I am a Dark-Spirit warrior.
METALIA:
I have heard of the Dark-Spirits. Their masters are Hawxor, Jellica, and Grizz.
SHELLDRIX:
Unfortunately, they were all destroyed by the Jungle Rangers. But, I have the remains of a Phantom-Spirit Master…Draco!
[Shelldrix holds up the “Draco Ball,” catching the awe of the two generals.]
See…with your vast knowledge of machines, I was wondering if you could help me unlock it to resurrect him.]
ARGO:
We’ll see…for now, I have a Machine Knight confronting the Nitro Defender Rangers.
SHELLDRIX:
Rangers!?
METALIA:
Why don’t all three of us go watch the battle?
[The three depart for the battle.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Shelldrix and the two generals arrive and join Shogunuck, much to the rangers’ surprise.]
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
Hey, sewage-breath! Who’s your friend!?
METALIA:
Watch your mouth, Green Ranger!
ARGO:
This is a Dark-Spirit warrior…your planet’s destructor!
[The rangers press on in battling the Gearoids, and soon destroy them. They then turn their attention to the four villains.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
We’ll see about that!
GOLD SKY RANGER:
Since we haven’t properly been introduced…
RED NITRO RANGER:

Screech Of The Condor! Red Nitro Ranger!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:

Roar Of The Lion! Blue Nitro Ranger!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:

Growl Of The Bear! Yellow Nitro Ranger!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
(posing)
Call Of The Orca! Green Defender Ranger!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:

Power Rangers: Nitro Defenders, Let's Go!
[The seven rangers charge in to battle the four villains.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
We need our gear!
[The rangers press the “G” symbol on their belts to summon their secondary weapons. The rangers fight the villains with their weapons, and lose badly to the evil quartet. They are forced to retreat.]
GOLD SKY RANGER:
We’d better get to the Power Center to regroup!
[The seven teleport out.]
ARGO:
Aw, look at the poor little rangers run away!
INT.-STONE CANYON-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-DAY
[Tao and Piper tell their team about Shelldrix, and his ties to the Dark-Spirit Masters.]
MASTER TAO:
Shelldrix was apparently a Dark-Spirit Master in training. His power is so immense, that his were just shy of eclipsing Grizz’ powers.
DR. PIPER McCALL:
(while putting a metal briefcase on the table)
You’re gonna need these again.
[She opens the case revealing four Jungle Morphers and a Wolf Morpher.]
INT.-ANGEL GROVE-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-DAY
[The seven rangers teleport in, and remove their helmets.]
ADAM PARK:
They have never beat us that bad!
RYDER SWANSON:
It’s that other guy!
KEIKO OGAWA:
He’s too powerful!
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
(while looking at the computer)
Well…according to the Galactic Database, Shelldrix is not related to the Machine Empire…but…he is related to the Dark-Spirits from Stone Canyon.
ADAM PARK:
Dark-Spirits? Stone Canyon?
CHLOE WILCOX:
What is it, Adam!?
ADAM PARK:
Last year…there were rangers in Stone Canyon. It was told that they defeated the Dark-Spirit Masters.
[Global’s sensors detect that the four villains and two groups of minion soldiers are in the city.]
Let’s go guys…we got to protect the city.
ALL:
Back to action!
[The seven all teleport out.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The seven rangers arrive in the city, only to see the villains with the Gearoids, and an army of unfamiliar minions. Much of Downtown Angel Grove is in ruins with flaming buildings and debris all over the streets.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Any suggestions?
GOLD SKY RANGER:
Hold your ground and defend the city…at all costs!
[The rangers charge into battle. After a few minutes, the team is forced out of morph, and must pull back.]
RYDER SWANSON:
Those guys are tough!
[Soon, five humans arrive on the scene...the team wonders who they are.]
Hey! Get out of here!
KEIKO OGAWA:
You're all in danger!
SHAWN PATRICK:
We came to help!
[The five humans help the team recover.]
RYDER SWANSON:
Thanks! Who are you guys?
SHAWN PATRICK:
(as the five show off their morphers)
We're the Jungle Rangers.
JAZZ RUSSO:
(pointing to the unknown minions)
And those creeps are the Banshees.
ADAM PARK:
Let's all show these freaks what we can do.
[The twelve unmorphed rangers all face the villains and the horde of minions.]
METALIA:
You are just in time to see the resurrection of the Phantom-Spirit Master who will destroy Earth!
RYDER SWANSON:
Well, we're here to prevent that!
[The twelve charge in, but the villains send Shogunuck and the minions in to thwart the team's plans. The three remaining villains use their Dark-Spirit and Machine energy to send power to the sphere in a attempt to release the dragon inside. Soon, Jordan and Sim arrive to try and stop the three villains.]
JORDAN FRANKLIN:
What are you doing, Shelldrix!?
SHELLDRIX:
Ah, the two Dark-Spirit traitors!
[Within a few minutes, Draco is released, and assumes his warrior form. Adam, Ryder, and Shawn stand before him in awe.]
ADAM PARK:
That...cannot be good.
SHAWN PATRICK:
It isn't!
[The rangers all look at Draco with some concern. TO BE CONTINUED...]
