INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-CLASSROOM-NIGHT
[Gori brings in four boxes of bananas (while eating one banana), and sets them on the couch wile everyone (except Kenny) sits around a table.]
MASTER TAO:
Rangers, I feel that the Phantoms are getting stronger, but there is some dissention in their ranks.
SHAWN PATRICK:
There's something familiar about Draco...but I can't put my finger on it.
MASTER GORI:
Maybe it is a repressed memory...there is a way to...reveal it.
[Kenny enters, topless. His waist and one shoulder are taped up from his last battle.]
PIPER McCALL:
Are you okay, Kenny?
KENNY TANAKA:
(putting is jacket back on)
Brianna says I'll be okay. Just gotta take it easy for a few days.
[Something uneases Shawn, and goes around the room trying to sniff it out.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
I'm sensing something...something strange...but familiar...from within this room.
[Shawn's senses lead him to Tao's pocket.]
Sensei...it's coming from your pocket.
[Tao reaches into the pocket and pulls out the scale.]
What is that, Sensei?
MASTER TAO:
I do not know. I found it where we fell down that cliff last month.
[Shawn inspects the scale.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-UNKNOWN AREA-DAY
[Gryphar remembers his last battle and wakes up from his nightmare. Fyriza then comforts him.]
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Easy, my love...you're hurt.
KING GRYPHAR:
What...did...he do...to me!?
[Baz enters the room.]
MASTER BAZ:
There you two are! Flame Attack!
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Deflect!
[Pixix enters the room, and deflects Baz' attack.]
PIXIX:
Leave them alone! Soaring Dance!
[Pixix uses her skill to teleport her, Gryphar, and Fyriza out of the palace. Baz is furious.]
MASTER BAZ:
You'll pay for that!
[Baz grunts and covers his face with his hand. He then starts to laugh maniacally as he removes the hand from his face.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-TRAINING ROOM-DAY
[Gori sits Shawn down in a chair and prepares him for what is about to happen. Brianna is also in the room to observe.]
MASTER GORI:
Now, this will not hurt a bit...are you ready?
SHAWN PATRICK:
I'm ready.
[Shawn leans back in the chair.]
MASTER GORI:
HypnoSleep!
[Gori touches Shawn's forehead with his index finger. Shawn immediately falls asleep.]
Shawn...I want you to remember the past...all the way back...to your youth. Something happened to you. When I snap my fingers, you will wake up, you will remember, and tell me everything.
[Gori puts his hand near Shawn's ace, then snaps his fingers. Shawn wakes up and starts speaking of the past.]
FLASHBACK
[Images of the past are shown as Shawn talks.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
My mother and I were attacked by a being about ten years ago. A golden dragon...Draco! My mother used a tiger-style attack to shove im back. She had just enough time to get me to safety. She went back to battle the being...I never saw her again.
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-TRAINING ROOM-DAY
[Shawn opens the locket and looks at his parents' picture.
SHAWN PATRICK:
My father said that she was still alive!
JAZZ RUSSO:
You okay, Shawn? We'll find her.
SHAWN PATRICK:
I'll be fine...but I'm about to slay me a dragon!
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[About an hour later, the students and Tao arrive where he found the scale...where everything took place ten years ago. Gryphar arrives with Pixix and Fyriza, and the five students prepare for battle.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Gryphar!
KING GRYPHAR:
Red Ranger!
SHAWN PATRICK:
It seems that we have a common enemy in Draco.
KING GRYPHAR:
Your point?
SHAWN PATRICK:
My point is why don't we all work together to defeat that back-stabbing dragon!
PIXIX:
And why should they follow you?
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
You work for me, Pixix!
PIXIX:
Actually, I don't...
[Pixix transforms into Draco.]
ALL:
Draco!
MASTER DRACO:
These...rangers are the enemy...we Phantoms must destroy them!
KING GRYPHAR:
No...I'm not your puppet anymore, Draco!
MASTER DRACO:
Fyriza?
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
Count me out, dragon breath!
MASTER DRACO:
Well then...I guess this...cherade is over then. You see, the Phantom-Spirits don't really exist. Yes...I...am the one who destroyed your villages...and I enjoyed it! You see, I am more powerful than you think. I have been grooming young Jordan here to bring out the Infinite Way...a power that can destroy this miserable planet!
[Gryphar drops to his hands and knees realizing that he and Fyriza were indeed pawns in Draco's plans. Shawn also realizes everything.]
KING GRYPHAR:
(angered)
How dare you!
MASTER DRACO:
Yes...I attacked those villages...I intended to find a pawn in my master plan, one to groom to my image...and Jordan, I found you. But Tao rescued you.
[Shawn charges at Draco, but is interrupted by the real Pixix.]
PIXIX:
Hello, rangers! Tornado Attack!
[Pixix tornados everyone except for Gryphar and Draco. Meanwhile, Draco grabs Gryphar by the hair.]
MASTER DRACO:
Come here, weakling!
[In another part of the forest, Pixix blasts the group. Fyriza, who has joined the rangers for a bit attacks the pixie while the rangers check up on Tao, who was hurt a bit by Pixix' attack.]
YELLOW FURY RANGER:
I've had enough of this! Fury Cheetah!
[The Yellow Ranger attacks Pixix, then is ready to battle alongside the others.]
ALL RANGERS:
(posing)
Power Rangers...roar!
PIXIX:
Pixie Absorption!
[The energy wave knocks the rangers down. Meanwhile, back at the original battlefield, Draco attacks Gryphar, and flame-blasts him against a tree. Gryphar then collapses, and looses his will to fight.]
MASTER DRACO:
Your Phantom energy is now mine!
[Draco holds out his open-palmed hand to absorb the power. Gryphar turns back into Lionix. Draco then stalks the lion.]
You were too weak to ascend to the throne...you and your obsession with the Red Ranger and Tao!
MISTRESS FYRIZA:
(while leaping in to attack the dragon, then tends to her love)
Oh, just shut up! Lionix, are you okay?
[Draco recovers and battles Fyriza overpowering her. He then blasts her out of her phoenix form, down to her chameleon form. Reptiza then uses her daggers. Meanwhile, at the second battlefield, Pixix "fly-bombs" the team.]
ALL RANGERS:
Combo Charge!
[The rangers blast Pixix as she tries to blast them. The core rangers then use their claws to attack the Phangata.]
CORE RANGERS:
Jungle Cannon!
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Wolf Morpher!
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
Rhino Dagger!
ALL RANGERS:
Fire!
[Pixix gets blasted by the combined attack, then grows.]
PIXIX:
Phantom Growth!
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
Rhino Junglezord!
[The Rhino Junglezord arrives on scene, and uses it's nose horn to toss the Phangata around in the air.]
CORE RANGERS:
Auras...release!
[The Beast Megazord components arrive, and the rangers get in.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Wolf Junglezord...online!
[The wolf howls as the Royal Wolf Ranger gets in.]
BLUE FURY RANGER:
Blue Fury Kick!
[The gazelle rears up, and kicks the penguin.]
RED FURY RANGER:
Red Fury Wave!
[The gorilla sends out shockwaves for the penguin to ride through while pounding it's chest.]
YELLOW FURY RANGER:
Yellow Fury Shot!
[The penguin glides on it's jetboard to the Phangata to strike her.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Wolf Strike!
[The wolf tail-spin-attacks Pixix.]
ALL RANGERS:
Fury Summon!
[The remaining six Junglezords are called upon, and blast Pixix with the other five Junglezords.
Jungle Fury Blast!
[The Phangata goes down in red lightning bolts, then explodes. Bat at the first battlefield, Draco electrocutes Reptiza with yellow lightning bolts, then she goes down.]
MASTER DRACO:
How about a fried lizard!
[The rangers arrive to try to help, but Draco attacks them with energy bolts as well. When Reptiza tries to recover, Draco "rush-attacks" her, and she goes down again. Lionix then comes to. Draco then tries to attack, but the lion goes down while trying to defend Reptiza.]
MASTER DRACO:
Pitiful humans!
[Draco picks up a weakened Reptiza, and slumps her over his shoulder, then vanishes. Lionix and the rangers are too weak to mount a rescue attempt right now...TO BE CONTINUED...]
