[Matt is near an auto repair business that is repairing his broken down car. He then hails a taxicab alongside a beautiful Asian woman. They agree to split the fare. The two start to talk as the cab gets on the road.]
MATT SANDOVAL:
(trying to talk to the woman)
Well, my name is Matt...what's yours?
WOMAN:
Let's just sit back and enjoy the ride. I am not interested in trying to get a date...okay!?
[The "chill factor" in the cab just went higher as the woman begins to ignore Matt. The cab continues down the road.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-ARGO'S LABORATORY-DAY
[Argo is working on a way to perfect the right amount of Banki Energy to awaken an Exerthal.]
ARGO:
Yes...I think two vials ought to do it.
[As Argo dumps two vials of the solution over the obelisk, Yogo storms in.]
Yogo!
YOGO:
Argo! Why is it taking so long to resurrect the Exerthal!?
ARGO:
You can't speed this up! It is a delicate process that will take twenty-four Earth hours to complete!
[As the obelisk glows lime-green as Yogo exits the lab in anger.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[Yogo enters the main chamber with Argo following.]
YOGO:
Twenty-four hours!?
ARGO:
If you want to control the Exerthal right, yes. But I do have a Machine Knight in the chamber now...he should be ready in a few minutes.
[Yogo sees the monster in the chamber, and is somewhat pleased.]
EXT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[The taxicab pulls up in front. The woman exits the vehicle and goes inside, leaving Matt to pay the full fare. Matt then goes inside as the cab departs.]
MATT SANDOVAL:
Hey! Wait a minute!
INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[The infuriated Matt walks into the dojo and approaches the woman, who is near Keiko.]
KEIKO OGAWA:
Oh, hey Matt! I'd like to introduce to you Sakura Ogawa...my sister.
[Matt looks very shocked and surprised.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Elsewhere in the city, the newest Machine Knight (BURNIE), is attacking, and making innocent citizens flee in fear.]
INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[Back at the dojo, Ryder is contacted on his Nitro Morpher.]
RYDER SWANSON:
Ryder here?
voice of ALPHA SIX:
Ryder...there is a Machine Knight in the city.
RYDER SWANSON:
Say no more...I'll get the others.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The seven team members arrive, and confront Burnie.]
ADAM PARK:
Yo, hot-head!
BURNIE:
What!
RYDER SWANSON:
We're here to cool you down!
ALL:
(as they prepare their morphers)
Start Up!
[The suits "fully-form" over the seven heroes.]
BURNIE:
Well, I'm just getting warmed up!
RED NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Screech Of The Condor! Red Nitro Ranger!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Roar Of The Lion! Blue Nitro Ranger!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Growl Of The Bear! Yellow Nitro Ranger!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:

Call Of The Orca! Green Defender Ranger!

BURNIE:
Let's turn up the heat! Gearoids!
[A small army of Gearoid soldiers materialize from flying nuts and bolts. The seven rangers go to work in battling and defeating them. Burnie then uses heat-based attacks, which make the rangers retreat.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
This guy's on fire!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
We can't defeat him!
GOLD SKY RANGER:
We need to retreat...for now.
[The seven rangers teleport out.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-DAY
[The team teleports in, and walk over to a large conference table to sit down. After sitting down, they remove their helmets.]
ADAM PARK:
That guy is tough...we got to work on a way to ice him. Suggestions?
KEIKO OGAWA:
Well, this isn't related, but...Matt...I'm sorry for the way my sister treated you. She used to torment me a lot as a kid...sibling rivalry.
MATT SANDOVAL:
Keiko, you have nothing to apologize for...but it's okay.
KEIKO OGAWA:
Okay...let's get back to work.
[The team tries to come up with a plan.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[Yogo tries to apologize to Argo (as he has a plan of his own). Argo want to go out on the next outing with Burnie.]
YOGO:
Argo, my friend...I apologize for the way I yelled at you...you see, those rangers just keep getting on my nerves.
ARGO:
Accepted...but...I want to go with Burnie when he goes back to the city.
YOGO:
Deal.
[Metalia looks on...she is suspicious of her comrades. As Argo and Burnie depart for the city, Yogo tells her of his plan.]
METALIA:
You have something planned, Don't you!?
YOGO:
Since Argo is gone, I think I will help the Exerthal resurrection process along.
[Yogo departs for Argo's laboratory.]
EXT.-CITY-POWER PLANT-DAY
[Argo and Burnie arrive, and start setting fires. The seven rangers arrive and confront the duo.]
ARGO:
You!
RED NITRO RANGER:
Yeah, we're back!
[The rangers battle Burnie and Argo...with Burnie heating up the plant's reactor at one point.]
SKY RANGERS:
Sky Daggers...Freezing Dagger!
[The maneuver cools of the reactor, with a huge sigh of relief from the plant's workers.]
ALL RANGERS:
Nitro Defender Cannon! Booster Mode!
[The Silver Ranger inserts her Super Nitro Cell, and fires the weapon to freeze the Machine Knight, who then activates his Industrial Revolution to grow.]
BURNIE:
(while looking down onto the rangers)
The heat is on, rangers!
RED NITRO RANGER:
Alpha...we need the zords!
voice of ALPHA SIX:
They're coming, Ryder!
[Soon, the twelve zords approach the battlefield. The rangers leap up to the zords, and enter their cockpits.]
ALL RANGERS (except Red):
Zords...combine!
[The first nine zords join together to form the Nitro Defender Ultrazord.]
Nitro Defender Ultrazord...Let's Go!
[The Ultrazord tries to keep Burnie from re-igniting the plant's reactor.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-ARGO'S LABORATORY-DAY
[Yogo enters the lab. He sees that Argo only uses two vials of Banki Energy. Enraged, he pours four more vials over the obelisk. The glowing object explodes, knocking Yogo onto his rear. Before him is a black, hulking behemoth of an Exerthal Tribesman.]
POSEIDON:
(growling)
I am Poseidon...master warrior of the Exerthals!
[Yogo looks pleased.]
YOGO:
You'll do fine!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The Ultrazord continues to battle Burnie, as the Red Ranger looks on.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Okay...RailMax Mammothzord...Tyrannozord...Tricerazord...Go, Go, Go!"
[The Red Ranger casts off the three ancient VehAni, who then grow big. The Red Ranger then leaps into Mammoth's cockpit, and activates it.
RailMaxZords...Combine...Train Mode!
[The three zords all hitch onto each other to form the train, which then attacks Burnie.]
RailMaxZords...Combine...Warrior Mode!
[The three zords detach and form the warrior mode of the combination.]
RailMax Megazord...On Track!
[The megazord stands ready against the Machine Knight.
Okay...let's put him on ice! RailMax Express! Grand Prix!
[The megazord uses it's finisher to make the Machine Knight cackle in yellow lighting bolts, and collapses before exploding in ice flurries. The rangers celebrate on the ground. Suddenly, Yogo and the resurrected Exerthal arrive.]
Yogo!
YOGO:
Hello, rangers!
GOLD SKY RANGER:
Who's your friend!?
YOGO:
Rangers...this is a Exerthal warrior, Poseidon...the destructor of your precious planet!
[Poseidon pounds his fists together and roars as Yogo laughs maniacally.]
RED NITRO RANGERS:
We'll see about that!
[The seven rangers charge in to battle the hulking Exerthal with disastrous results.]
POSEIDON:
(growling)
Poseidon Wave!
[A massive energy wave blasts the rangers, who all lay on the ground, beaten senseless, and weakened. Soon, their suits vanish forcefully.]
RYDER SWANSON:
(in extreme pain)
Did anyone get the number of that truck that hit us!?
YOGO:
(as the fallen rangers groan in extreme pain)
Rangers! Here is an ultimatum...surrender yourselves...or the planet. You have twenty-four hours to contemplate your fate!
[The two villains vanish as the wounded rangers struggle to recover and catch their breaths. TO BE CONTINUED...]
