EXT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY GROUNDS-NIGHT
[Tao, Piper, Shawn, Yoshi, Abby, Kira, and Brianna sit around a campfire relaxing and swapping ranger stories while looking up at a starry sky.]
KIRA FORD:
I can't believe you guys are rangers!
MASTER TAO:
The Beast-Spirit legacy did include ranger powers, so we harnessed it, and created the technology.
ABBY McHENRY:
And I can't believe that you didn't tell me about your powers sooner!
KIRA FORD:
I was sworn to secrecy at the time, but I figured that since I had the powers four years ago, it was okay.
YOSHI TANAKA:
So, Kira...how did you and your comrades lose the Dino Powers?
KIRA FORD:
We used them up while fighting the mutated form o our enemy, Mesogog.
[Two streaks of light strike the Earth in the middle of the forest.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Sensei...permission to go investigate?
MASTER TAO:
Go ahead.
[The students and Kira depart for the impact site.]
EXT.-FOREST-IMPACT SITE-NIGHT
[The students and Kira arrive on the scene to find two spaceships have crashed. One has the markings of "Space Command," and the other has no markings. Shawn and Abby go to the first ship, while Yoshi and Kira go to the other. Shawn and Abby are able to open the first ship.]
ABBY McHENRY:
Look, Shawn...he's human!
YOSHI TANAKA:
This hatch seems to be stuck!
KIRA FORD:
(trying to help open it)
Yup...it's stuck alright. Let's go help the others.
[Yoshi and Kira go to the others.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
I thought...
YOSHI TANAKA:
It's hatch is stuck. We'll have to come back in the morning with tools.
ABBY McHENRY:
Okay...how about helping us get him out of here.
[The four extricate the pilot, and place him on his back on the ground. The pilot is wearing a blue police-like uniform He is semi-conscious.]
YOSHI TANAKA:
Look! He's is some sort of uniform.
KIRA FORD:
It looks like a military uniform of some sort.
[The pilot takes out his firearm, and fires it at the other ship's hatch to seal it.]
ZETHOS:
NightFlyer computer...secure...stealth mode.
[The pilot falls unconscious.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-INFIRMARY-DAY
[The Infirmary nurse, Brianna watches over the mysterious alien along with Yoshi and Piper. Abby and Tao enter the room.]
MASTER TAO:
How is our mystery guest?
BRIANNA McCALL:
He will be fine...he was just a bit shaken up in the crash.
[The pilot awakens.]
ABBY McHENRY:
Look! He's waking up!
ZETHOS:
Where am I? What happened?
MASTER TAO:
You are at the Felis Academy...on Earth. Your ship crashed in the nearby forest.
ZETHOS:
The other ship?
YOSHI TANAKA:
You sealed it's hatch...why?
ZETHOS:
I'm an officer for Space Command...an intergalactic peace-keeping force...that other ship contained an evil ranger that works for a criminal organization, called the Battalion...a force that enslaves entire planets.
ABBY McHENRY:
Your ship, and the other one are still in the forest.
ZETHOS:
I must get back to the ship, and secure the enemy vessel and pilot.
EXT.-FOREST-IMPACT SITE-DAY
[The five (Shawn, Yoshi, Abby, Tao, and Zethos) arrive at the site, only to find the other hatch blown.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Whoa! What happened?
ZETHOS:
The pilot is gone!
[Shawn starts sniffing around.]
MASTER TAO:
I hope they didn't get to him.
ZETHOS:
Who, Sensei?
SHAWN PATRICK:
The Almozar...our enemies.
[Rejoining the others.]
They've been here.
ABBY McHENRY:
Let's get back to the academy and figure out our next move.
[The five leave the area.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-DAY
[Lionix, Hawxor, and Reptiza welcome the evil ranger.]
LIONIX:
Welcome to my palace.
NOCTURN RANGER:
Thank you for your hospitality.
REPTIZA:
What happened out there?
NOCTURN RANGER:
I was being chased down by a peace-keeper...a cop, and he shot me down!
LIONIX:
Tell me more...
NOCTURN RANGER:
He's also a Power Ranger...with...immense power!
LIONIX:
More power than a normal ranger?
NOCTURN RANGER:
Yes...a Sentinel Ranger!
LIONIX:
With that much power...
HAWXOR:
...The Jungle Rangers will fall!
EXT.-CITY-NIGHT
[The Nocturn Ranger and several Tri-Bat soldiers along with several Banshees terrorize the night-life of the city.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-NIGHT
[Zethos is telling everyone his story while sitting around the conference table...until Shawn senses trouble.]
ZETHOS:
...And so, that's my story...well, most of it, anyway.
SHAWN PATRICK:
There's trouble in the city!
ZETHOS:
Let's go!
[Exit students and Zethos.]
EXT.-CITY-NIGHT
[The four arrive and witness the chaos.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
(pointing to the Banshees, then to the Tri-Bats)
Those are Banshees...but what are those?
ZETHOS:
Tri-Bats! The vampire warriors of the Battalion...they're feeding off of the public's energy!
ALL STUDENTS:
Vampires!?
[The four confront the Nocturn Ranger, who is flanked by a dozen Tri-Bats on the right, and a dozen Banshees on the left.]
NOCTURN RANGER:
Ah, so...you've been with those kittens! Well...it's time to take you down!
SHAWN PATRICK:
Well, these kitties have claws! Ready?
[All are forming the wushu gesture.]
YOSHI TANAKA and ABBY McHENRY:
Ready!
[All press the morph button.]
ALL STUDENTS:
Jungle Fury, Jungle On!
[The suits form over the three.]
ALL RANGERS:
Spirit of the jungle! Power Rangers, roar!
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER:
Captain...get to safety!
ZETHOS:
I think I'll join the fray!
[His morpher appears on his left wrist.]
Power Of The Night!
[Zethos presses the keys "9," "1," "1," then "ENTER" to morph.]
NightRanger! Suit...activate!
[The suit's armor forms over the officer in pieces {much like Andros' Battlizer formation}.]
NIGHT RANGER:
Night Saber...power up!
[The Jungle Rangers appear shocked as an explosion goes off behind their new ally.]
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Jungle Sticks!
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER and YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Jungle Staffs!
NOCTURN RANGER:
Charge!
NIGHT RANGER:
Night Slash!
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Wattage Whipper!
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER and YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Volt Attack!
[The two dozen soldiers are defeated.]
NIGHT RANGER:
You're next, Nocturn!
ALL RANGERS:
Jungle Cannon!
[The weapon forms in the Red Ranger's hands.]
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Tiger!
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER:
Panther!
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Cheetah!
ALL RANGERS:
Fury Blast...fire!
[The energy blast hits the evil ranger, who seems like he's defeated...until purple lightning envelops his remains, making him grow.]
NIGHT RANGER:
Uh-oh! I don't suppose you guys have a megazord?
ALL RANGERS:
Auras...release!
[The three Jungle Rangers release their auras.]
Junglezord mode!
[The three auras form into the Junglezords, and the rangers enter them.]
Jungle Unity!
[The three Junglezords join together.]
Jungle Fury Megazord! Transformation complete!
NIGHT RANGER:
Night Flyer! Online!
[The megazord as trouble against the Nocturn Ranger.]
Rangers...I'm going to join you...Flyer Mode!
ALL RANGERS:
Jungle Fury Megazord...Flyer Mode!
[The NightFlyer attaches to the back of the megazord...Night Ranger joins the other three in the cockpit.]
ALL RANGERS:
Flyer Mode ready!
NIGHT RANGER:
Wings...extend!
[The wings extend out, and the megazord takes to the skies and the Nocturn Ranger attacks, with the megazord dodging them.]
Let's do a power punch...
ALL RANGERS:
Midnight Express!
[The megazord delivers a flying punch, and the Nocturn Ranger loses power and retreats as the rangers celebrate.
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-NIGHT
[Lionix looks disgruntled...as usual.]
EXT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-GROUNDS-NIGHT
[Zethos prepares to depart with the students, Tao, and Piper nearby.]
ZETHOS:
Rangers...it's been a pleasure working with you. My job is to keep the Battalion away from Earth...and I will fight to the death to achieve my ultimate goal.
SHAWN PATRICK:
It was an honor to meet you, Captain.
[Zethos boards his ship, and ascends to the sky, and takes off as everyone watches.]
MASTER TAO:
I have heard about him...he is royalty from the planet Eltar...and the nephew of the sage, Zordon.
[Everyone looks up at the starry sky in amazement.]
