[An older man is making something while a younger girl buzzes around him. The telephone rings, and the girl answers it...the call is for the supervisor...Master Zo, who runs to take the call.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-PIPER'S OFFICE-DAY
[Piper is talking on the phone to Zo while Tao talks to Yoshi, Jazz, and Kenny.]
MASTER TAO:
Sources tell me that the newest member of your team has arrived. I have sent Shawn to meet him at the docks.
YOSHI TANAKA:
(speaking up as the senior team member)
Another teammate!?
KENNY TANAKA:
Let me guess...Dillon's back?
YOSHI TANAKA:
Sensei Harrington?
KENNY TANAKA:
He is not a Sensei. That guy is irresponsible and arrogant! Do we really need him as a new ranger?
MASTER TAO:
With Master Gori telling me that Lionix is looking for the Tree of Life, YES! We do need him!
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-DAY
[The Dark-Spirit Masters prepare Lockjaw for battle.]
MASTER GRIZZ:
Lockjaw! Destroy those rangers!
LOCKJAW:
It'll be my pleasure!
EXT.-FOREST-DAY
[Lionix searches for the Tree of Life.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-TUNNELS-DAY
[Reptiza and Draco talk.]
DRACO:
(manipulating)
Ya know...once Lionix locates the Tree of Life...he'll have no use for you anymore.
[Draco vanishes into his aura form as Reptiza reacts.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Shawn tries to buy a chicken patty...the last one. As he counts out his change, another male, who just happens to be Dillon, plunks down the exact amount, and takes the food.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Hey! That was mine!
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Well, I paid for it before you could...so it's mine!
SHAWN PATRICK:
(sensing the monster in the city)
You can have it...I gotta go!
[At the battle scene, the three other rangers battle Lockjaw in his Banshegata form.]
LOCKJAW:
Akugata Transformation!
[Lockjaw transforms into an Akugata. He then grabs the Royal Wolf Ranger.]
LOCKJAW:
Snap Jaw!
[Lockjaw gets the Royal Wolf Ranger in a "death spiral," then spins and strikes the Blue and Yellow Rangers. Shawn then jumps into action.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
(forming the wushu pose)
Jungle...
[Dillon enters the scene.]
DILLON HARRINGTON:
You! You got dirt all over my chicken!
[As the four students look at Dillon in shock, Master Tao enters the scene to quell the disturbance. Everyone (including Dillon) salutes the master.]
ALL HUMANS:
Sensei!
[The main four students look at Dillon in shock again.]
Huh!?
INT.-CITY-HARRINGTON INDUSTRIES-DAY
[Piper and the others meet everyone there.]
PIPER McCALL:
Welcome to Harrington Industries...this is where all your weapons are built...I just design them. The Harringtons...Cody and Marie are also owners of the academy. They reside here with their daughter...Dillon's sister Lily, and Master Zo just became the supervisor.
CODY HARRINGTON:
Where were you, Dillon!?
MARIE HARRINGTON:
We were worried about you!
DILLON HARRINGTON:
It was my choice...I enrolled at the academy. I was so good, that I became an instructor to Yoshi and a few others. After a while, I went to London to study abroad a bit.
CODY HARRINGTON:
Well, you still could have told us where you were going.
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Father...I'm twenty years old...I'm not a little kid anymore!
LILY HARRINGTON:
Father...Dillon...stop fighting!
[The four ranger students look on in bewilderment, then leave.]
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Sensei...I pledge my loyalty to the Light-Spirits...and the academy.
MASTER TAO:
You do not have to pledge loyalty to me, or the academy...but you do have to prove yourself to the other rangers...and yourself.
[Tao leaves Dillon to ponder his next move.]
EXT.-FOREST-NIGHT
[In a driving rainstorm, Lionix has visions of Shawn and Kenny.]
DREAM SHAWN:
If you think you're gonna just waltz over to...
DREAM KENNY:
...the Tree of Life, you're sorely mistaken.
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Shawn is hungry, aimlessly walking about. Dillon enters the area and presents Shawn with a whole bag of chicken patties. Shawn then eats one, and is very pleased.]
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Shawn...If I had upset you and your teammates, I'm sorry.
[Shawn senses Lily arriving.]
LILY HARRINGTON:
Dillon! Are you trying to bribe is to get onto the team!?
[Lily slaps Dillon across the face, then walks away. She gets to under a sign being hoisted, the sign breaks loose and Dillon notices it.]
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Lily! Grinding Diamond!
[Dillon's right hand ignites into a fire blade form and cuts a circular hole to save Lily. Shawn is amazed.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
That was amazing!
[Tao enters.]
MASTER TAO:
So, Shawn...do you accept Dillon as a teammate?
SHAWN PATRICK:
Yes, Sensei...his abilities are needed right now.
[Tao tosses Dillon a Jungle Morpher.]
MASTER TAO:
Dillon...you know what to do with these.
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Thank you, Sensei...I won't let you guys down!
MASTER TAO:
Now go...the others need your help.
[At the battle, the Blue and Yellow Rangers have gone to Fury Mode and battle Lockjaw alongside the Royal Wolf Ranger, but have a tough time as Reptiza watches. The Red Fury Ranger charges and punches the monster.]
ALL RANGERS (except Red):
Shawn!
RED FURY RANGER:
I brought someone who could help us!
[Dillon walks in.]
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Let's trap this croc, 'mate!
[Dillon forms the wushu pose.]
Rhino Dagger!
[The dagger materializes in Dillon's right hand.]
Rhino Fury, Beast On!
[Dillon presses the button on the weapon to morph. A white suit with orange and black accents forms over him.]
Spirit of the rhino! White Rhino Jungle Ranger!
REPTIZA:
Not another one! Banshees attack!
[Two dozen Banshees materialize from the ground and surround Lockjaw to protect him. The White Rhino Ranger charges at the monster and attacks.]
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
Let's do it! Twister Barrage!
[The White Rhino Ranger fires missiles from the weapon's fingertips.]
LOCKJAW:
Snap...Jaw!
[Lockjaw attacks the White Rhino Ranger and knocks him down.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Now I remember him!
WHITE RHINO JUNGLE RANGER:
I'm gonna make boots out of you! Strong Barrage!
[A bigger missile appears on the weapon's fingertips, and fires at Lockjaw.]
Blade Mode...Rhino Cutter!
[Lockjaw dodges the attack, and dives into a nearby pond. The White Rhino Ranger goes into the water after him. He splits the water (like Moses) to find the monster, and defeats him.]
RED FURY RANGER:
Wow!
[Lockjaw is destroyed.]
EXT.-FOREST-DREAM SEQUENCE-NIGHT
[Lionix is still being manipulated by Draco.]
DREAM KENNY:
You still don't get it...little cub.
DREAM TAO:
You need the Rhino Summoner to get through the protective barrier.
LIONIX:
I must get the Rhino Summoner.
[Lionix departs, and Draco returns to normal.]
DRACO:
You will never achieve the full Dark Fury Power!
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-TRAINING ROOM-NIGHT
[Piper, Tao, Zo, and the rangers welcome Dillon to the team, and give him his uniform.]
PIPER McCALL:
Welcome to the team, Dillon...here is your uniform.
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Thanks, guys. If I knew that the Dark-Spirits were free, I would have been back sooner.
YOSHI TANAKA:
Welcome home, Sensei.
DILLON HARRINGTON:
Thank you, Yoshi...say...where's Abby?
YOSHI TANAKA:
She...decided to leave the academy...and her ranger duties. Jazz is taking over for her.
JAZZ RUSSO:
Yeah, but I still have a lot to learn from her techniques.
MASTER TAO:
(approaching Dillon)
Dillon...do you still have the Rhino Summoner?
