EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[The sky darkens as clouds roll in with purple lightning streaks dancing across the sky. The rangers prepare to face Lionix.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
(sniffing the air)
Guys...this...is the big one!
YOSHI TANAKA:
Big!? How big?
SHAWN PATRICK:
Let's just say that this will be a long battle...
[Lionix arrives flanked by the Beetle Brothers.]
...let's go to work...
[The ranger students form the wushu pose, then press the morph button.]
...ready!
ALL STUDENTS:
Jungle Fury, Beast On!
[The suits form over the trio.]
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Spirit of the tiger! Red Jungle Ranger!
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER:
Spirit of the panther! Blue Jungle Ranger!
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Spirit of the cheetah! Yellow Jungle Ranger!
ALL RANGERS:
(posing)
Spirit of the jungle!
[Explosions errupt behind the rangers.]
Power Rangers, roar!
LIONIX:
Come here Yellow Ranger...you will be the first to feel my wrath! Beetles...keep the other two busy.
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
No! We use teamwork!
LIONIX:
Silence!
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Guys...I'll tire him out...I hope! Elephant Mace!
[The weapon materializes in the Yellow Ranger's hands.]
Pachyderm Striker!
[The Yellow Ranger swings her weapon...Lionix catches it, and throws the Yellow Ranger around like a rag-doll.]
Cheetah Speed Punch!
[The Yellow Ranger punches at Lionix' stomach, but he deflects her jabs, then overpowers her by grabbing her fists.]
LIONIX:
Is that all you got...weakling?
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Not quite...Electro Wave!
[The Yellow Ranger sends her aura to attack Lionix, but he deflects it, and jumps off of rocks to attack the Yellow Ranger, and knocks her way back...making her bounce off of the face of the cliff, then fall to the ground in some noticeable pain.]
LIONIX:
Next!
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER:
(coming to Abby's aid)
Abby! Are you okay!?
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
(in obvious pain)
Go get him, Yosh!
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER:
(charging at Lionix)
Bat Shield...Double! Air Slash!
[The Blue Ranger leaps into the air and comes down onto Lionix' shoulders, but it is ineffective.]
LIONIX:
You call that an attack?
[Lionix kicks the Blue Ranger away.]
Here kitty, kitty!
[The Blue Ranger comes back to Lionix. The two battle hand-to-hand.]
You know, I have battled your brother before...you are just like him...weak!
[Lionix closes the Bat Shields, then punches the Blue Ranger in the stomach three times, then picks him up and punches him away. The Blue Ranger then bounces off the cliff face, and flies toward Lionix. He then kicks the ranger away while the Beetle Brothers continue to hold the Red and Yellow Rangers down. With the Blue Ranger down alongside the Yellow Ranger, the Red Ranger charges at Lionix.]
You!
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Shark Sabers!
[The Red Ranger slashes at Lionix, but the Shark Sabers have no effect.]
Combine!
[The Red Ranger combines the two swords.]
Shark Slash!
[Lionix blocks the attack, then throws the Red Ranger. While upside-down, Lionix punches the Red Ranger in te back. The Red Ranger lands in a patch of tall marsh-like grass next to the other two rangers.]
LIONIX:
You three are patetic fighting alone. Obviously Tao didn't teach you that well. Why don't you all attack me with your so-called teamwork!?
ALL RANGERS:
Jungle Cannon!
[The cannon forms in the rangers' hands.]
Fury Blast!
[The rangers fire the cannon as the Beetle Brothers attempt to shield Lionix, but he backs them off. Lionix catches the fireball in his hand, which extinguishes it with puffs of smoke coming from the crevases of his hand.]
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
No way!
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
He caught it!
BLUE JUNGLE RANGER:
Impossible!
LIONIX:
Aura of savage...flare up and attack!
[Lionix sends his aura to attack the rangers who fall in pain. The Blue and Yellow Rangers have already de-morphed...the Red Ranger is the only one still morphed, and slowly approaches Lionix.]
Surrender in agony! Lion Power Punch!
[The Red Ranger de-morphs in pain.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
(in pain)
Ti...ger Roar!
[Shawn screams as his tiger aura glows with white fire.]
LIONIX:
What! The Fury Mode!? It can't be!?
[Shawn's Fury Tiger attacks Lionix, but it burns out before it strikes Lionix.]
REPTIZA:
Beetles...let's finish them!
LIONIX:
No...leave them...for now.
[Master Tao arrives in the quarry.]
MASTER TAO:
Jor...Lionix. What you saw WAS the Fury Mode...but un-tamed. It was what I was starting to teach you when you left. How about a compromise...How about if you defeat them after they achieve full Fury Mode? It would benefit you more. Just think...more power for you.
REPTIZA:
Don't...it's a trick!
LIONIX:
No. In exchange...we'll take you hostage. Rangers...you have three days to achieve full Fury Mode...or Tao will be destroyed!
ALL STUDENTS:
No! Sensei! Don't do it!
[As the villains vanish with Tao, Reptiza gives the rangers a final blast.]
EXT.-QUARRY-NIGHT
[A few hours after the battle, the ranger students are sitting (or in Shawn's case, laying down) in the field during a driving rainstorm. The three students are in a dejected mood...beaten, loodied, bruised, and exhausted. Piper approaches the trio carrying a open umbrella.]
ABBY McHENRY:
Doctor McCall...we...lost!
YOSHI TANAKA:
They...took...Sensei Tao!
SHAWN PATRICK:
We...have three...days to...achieve Fury...Power, or the Sensei...will be destroyed.
PIPER McCALL:
Listen, rangers...you're not done yet...not by a long shot. You will reach Fury Mode and rescue the Sensei. Do not give up!
ABBY McHENRY:
You're right!
[The three get up in a renewed sense of confidence.]
PIPER McCALL:
It's time to train...train harder than ever before! Master Tao is counting on you three!
EXT.-CITY-NIGHT
[Three beings arrive into town...Master Gyazu, then Master Gori, then Mistress Pengi.]
MASTER GYAZU:
(landing on a building)
Kenya to Stone Canyon...that didn't take long!
MISTRESS PENGI:
(arriving in a white limosuine)
Whoa! It's too hot here, but I'm happy to be here!
MASTER GORI:
(coming down an escalator with a Fury Claw in his hand)
It's great to be back!
EXT.-QUARRY-DAY
[The next morning, the three ranger students walk off screen in a confident manner.]
