EXT.-CITY-PARK-NIGHT
[In the evening hours, Trevor, Donovan, and Mia have locked up the dojo, and walk through the park. Soon, six Gearoids materialize, and capture the three dojo employees, who are afraid.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-NIGHT
[Yogo is in his private chamber, still grieving over Arkimedes' loss. Meanwhile, in the main chamber, Argo takes up temporary command of the palace.]
ARGO:
Yogo is still grieving over the loss of Arkimedes...so...I'm in charge for now. I had the Gearoids capture three humans from the park earlier today.
[The Gearoids enter the main chamber room with Trevor, Donovan, and Mia.]
MIA:
Let us go!
DONOVAN:
What do you want with us!?
TREVOR:
Don't worry, guys! The Power Rangers will save us!
ARGO:
My point exactly...you three will fight the Power Rangers...and annihilate them!
DONOVAN:
Never!
ARGO:
Soon, you three puny humans will have no choice!
[The three humans look very afraid as they are shoved into the Machine Beast chamber. Metalia then activates the controls.]
INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[The next day, the core five team members enter the still closed dojo, and see that Adam and Chloe are not all that happy.]
RYDER SWANSON:
Adam...Chloe...what's wrong?
ADAM PARK:
Trevor, Donovan, and Mia have not shown up yet.
CHLOE WILCOX:
(while exiting Adam's office)
Well, I called their homes...no answer.
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
Something strange is going on.
KEIKO OGAWA:
They've never been late before!
ADAM PARK:
(talking into his communictor)
Zordon...Alpha...our three employees have not shown up for their shifts...has there been any Machine Empire activity lately?
voice of ALPHA SIX:
I'll check Global's sensors...
[There is a bit of a pause.]
Rangers...three humans were abducted in the park yesterday evening by a swarm of Gearoids.
KEIKO OGAWA:
(to Jake)
You think they're trying to turn humans into Gearoids again, Jake?
JAKE GARABEDIAN:
I don't know.
ZORDON:
Adam...Global has video footage of the kidnaping.
ADAM PARK:
Thanks...we'll be there soon. Chloe...are there any classes today?
CHLOE WILCOX:
(checking the schedule)
Nope...none today.
ADAM PARK:
I think we better get to the Power Center to see Global's video.
[The seven teleport to the base.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[A few hours later, the three beings exit the smoke-filled chamber, and stand in a row. Three evil-looking rangers...a male red ranger, a female blue ranger, and a male yellow ranger.]
METALIA:
Argo! You created Power Rangers!?
ARGO:
Not just any ranger...these are the Smog Rangers...similar to the Nitro Rangers, but three times as strong as all seven Power Rangers.
[Argo sends the three evil rangers to the city.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The three Smog Rangers arrive, and are swarmed by kids thinking that they are the real rangers.]
RED SMOG RANGER:
Get away, you pesky kids!
[The kids look afraid, and confused. The three Smog Rangers then make areas of the city explode...the kids run.]
Come on out, rangers!
[Soon, the seven team members arrive.]
RYDER SWANSON:
More rangers?
WHALE:
(on Adam's communicator)
They are not with us...they have Machine Empire energy signatures.
RED SMOG RANGER:
Yes, rangers...we are your worst nightmares!
ADAM PARK:
Well, then... let's take them out!
ALL:
(preparing their morphers)
Start Up!
[The suits "fully-form" over the seven.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Screech Of The Condor! Red Nitro Ranger!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Roar Of The Lion! Blue Nitro Ranger!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Growl Of The Bear! Yellow Nitro Ranger!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
(posing)
Call Of The Orca! Green Defender Ranger!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:

Bark Of The Canine! Black Defender Ranger!
GOLD SKY RANGER:

Flight Of The Falcon! Gold Sky Ranger!

BLUE SMOG RANGER:

SMOG RANGERS:

We are the Smog Rangers! Gearoids!
[Soon four Gearoids with green, black, gold, and silver sashes (one color each) across their chests appear, and join up with the Smog Rangers.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Great! Now both sides are even!
[The two sides of seven go into hand-to-hand combat for a couple minutes.]
NITRO RANGERS:
(un-holstering their sidearms)
Nitrolizers! Insert Cell! Baton Mode!
[The rangers convert their weapons as the Smog Rangers un-holster their sidearms.]
SMOG RANGERS:
Smog Batons!
{The Smog Batons look like evil versions of the Nitrolizers.}
[The two sides sword-fight as the Defender and Sky Rangers battle the enhanced Gearoids.]
NITRO RANGERS:
(as they press the "G" symbol on their belt buckles)
Nitro Gear!
[The weapons appear in the rangers' hands.]
RED SMOG RANGER:
Really!?
SMOG RANGERS:
Smog Gear!
[The weapons, which look similar to the Nitro Gear appear in the hands of the three evil rangers.]
RED SMOG RANGER:
Hawk Sword!
BLUE SMOG RANGER:
Hyena Howler!
YELLOW SMOG RANGER:
Grizzly Sparker!
[The six rangers fight in weapon-to-weapon combat.]
NITRO RANGERS:
Nitro Buster!
SMOG RANGERS:
Smog Cannon!
[The two sides combine their weapons, and aim it at each other.]
NITRO RANGERS:
Fire!
SMOG RANGERS:
Dirty Air Haze!
[Both cannon-wielding sides knock each other down onto their backs.]
RED SMOG RANGER:
We're not defeated yet...Smogzords...arise!
[Three black and red zords that look similar to the three Nitrozords arrive on scene. The three Smog Rangers board the vehicles.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Nitrozords!
[The three Nitrozords arrive, and the rangers board them. The six zords battle each other...Condor versus Hawk, Lion versus Hyena, and Bear versus Grizzly.]
RED SMOG RANGER:
Hawk Heat-Seeker!
BLUE SMOG RANGER:
Hyena Missiles!
YELLOW SMOG RANGER:
Grizzly Jaws!
SMOG RANGERS:
Smogzords...Combine!
NITRO RANGERS:
Nitrozords...Combine!
NITRO RANGERS AND SMOG RANGERS:
Swords!
NITRO RANGERS:
Grand Prix!
SMOG RANGERS:
Inversion Layer!
[Soon, the Defender Megazord and Sky Megazord arrive, and combine with the Nitro Megazord to form the Nitro Defender Ultrazord.]
ALL RANGERS:
Nitro Defender Ultrazord!
[The Ultrazord slugs the Smog Megazord with a one-two punch.]
Ultra Grand Prix!
[The eyes glow on the nine VehAni as they send their energy to the evil megazord. Soon, the evil megazord loses power, and collapses, then explodes. The seven rangers rush to rescue the Smog Rangers as pieces of flaming wreckage fall to the ground around them. The seven rangers then see the Smog Rangers de-morphing.]
GOLD SKY RANGER:
(shocked)
What!?
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
(shocked)
No, way!
RED NITRO RANGER:
Let's get them to the Power Center.
[The three Nitro Rangers pick up their friends, and all ten teleport to the Power Center.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[Argo is very upset at the defeat of the Smog Rangers.]
ARGO:
Now I know what Yogo goes through after a defeat!
METALIA:
Calm down before you overheat!
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-DAY
[The rangers teleport in, and the Nitro Rangers lay Trevor, Donovan, and Mia onto the infirmary tables.]
DONOVAN:
(as the three wake up and recover)
Where are we!?
MIA:
It's the Power Rangers!
RED NITRO RANGER:
You are at our base...are you three okay!?
TREVOR:
I think so...what happened?
GOLD SKY RANGER:
You three were kidnaped by the Machine Empire, and we rescued you.
MIA:
Thanks...but I think we missed a day of work.
SILVER SKY RANGER:
I think your employers will understand.
[The three employees laugh as the seven rangers look on.]
