[A Machine Beast (Triggs) arrives before a bustling crowd to draw out the rangers.]
TRIGGS:
I am Triggs...the Machine Empire's top sniper!
[A female teenager, talking on her cell-phone accidentally wonders into Triggs' path. He grabs her.]
How dare you walk in front of me!
[The girl screams in fear.]
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Hey, hot-shot! Leaver her alone!
[The rangers arrive, and confront the Machine Beast.]
TRIGGS:
The rangers! Here, have some fun...Gearoids!
[The Gearoids materialize, and the five rangers battle them. Triggs uses the distraction to try and kidnap the girl.]
GIRL:
(in anguish)
Help!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Hold it right there!
[The Blue Ranger leaps in, and kicks Triggs to make him release the girl. The others defeat the Gearoids as Triggs tries to run away.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Where do 'ya think you're going!?
[The quintet catch up with the Machine Beast.]
TRIGGS:
Anywhere you aren't!
[Triggs uses the weapon on his head...and fires it at the five rangers...they dodge.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
(as all five call on their Nitro Gear, by pressing the "G" symbol on their belt buckles)
Our turn!
ALL RANGERS:
Nitro Gear!
RED NITRO RANGER:
Condor Blade!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Lionzooka!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
Bear Pellet!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
Orca Axe!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
Canine Taser!
[The five rangers put their weapons together, then fire it at the Machine Beast.]
ALL RANGERS:
Nitro Defender Cannon! Fire!
[Triggs goes down, and prepares to grow by releasing his Banki Energy to go through the Industrial Revolution. The team briefly celebrates before witnessing the Machine Beast's growth.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Now that's one big hired gun!
[The Red Ranger then speaks into his morpher.]
Alpha...
voice of ALPHA SIX:
Sending the zords now, Adam!
[The zords arrive, and the five rangers board them, and get ready for battle.]
ALL RANGERS:
Zords...Combine!
[The six zords combine into a megazord.]
Nitro Defender Megazord...Ready To Rumble!
TRIGGS:
You can't defeat me!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Guys, I found his weak spot.
ALL RANGERS:
Nitro Defender...Grand Prix!
[Triggs falls and explodes into a massive fireball. The megazord stands down as the rangers relax in the cockpit.]
EXT.-CITY-DOWNTOWN-DAY
[Later that day, Jake walks around, and sees an oasis-like hot spring...he investigates.]
JAKE GARBAEDIAN:
Whoa! What's that!?
[Soon, another Machine Beast that looks like a walking cauldron with arms and legs appears.]
A Machine Beast!
[Jake prepares his morpher.]
Start Up!
[The suit "flash-forms" over Jake's body.]
FIREUS:
Hello, ranger!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
Call Of The Orca! Green Defender Ranger!
[The Green Ranger battles Fireus on his own. During the battle, he gets knocked into the hot spring, and is knocked out of morph.]
FIREUS:
One ranger is no match for me!
[The other four rangers arrive, and see Jake with the other citizens, under the spell of the spring.]
RED NITRO RANER:
How 'bout the four of us!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
Jake!
[Metalia arrives.]
METALIA:
Fireus...get them!
[Fireus shoots steam at the quartet. The Red Ranger then presses the "G" symbol on his belt buckle to make his secondary weapon materialize from the chest logo.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Nitro Gear! Condor Blade! Road Slash!
[One swing from the Red Ranger's Condor Blade deflects the steam, and the spring's spell, much to Metalia's dismay.]
METALIA:
No!
ALL NITRO RANGERS:
Nitro Buster!
[The Black Ranger inserts his Super Nitro Cell, and fires the weapon.]
METALIA:
Next time, rangers!
[Fireus and Metalia retreat as the four rangers rescue Jake and the other citizens.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[Metalia recharges Fireus in the chamber, and discusses the plan with Yogo.]
YOGO:
What do you plan on doing next, Metalia?
METALIA:
I plan on having Fireus absorb the rangers into his perfect illusion.
[Fireus exits the chamber, powered up.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Fireus and Metalia return and attack the city to draw out the rangers...they promptly arrive, and confront the evil duo.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Hey, hot-head! Guess you haven't had enough!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
You need to take a chill-pill!
FIREUS:
I have a cure for that!
[Fireus absorbs the rangers, but the Red Ranger's experience, and the Green Ranger's previous encounter break the illusion in quick timing, then free their comrades.]
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
You guys alright!?
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
Yeah...I think so.
METALIA:
(angerly to Fireus)
Get them!
RED NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Screech Of The Condor! Red Nitro Ranger!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Roar Of The Lion! Blue Nitro Ranger!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
(posing)
Growl Of The Bear! Yellow Nitro Ranger!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
(posing)
Call Of The Orca! Green Defender Ranger!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
(posing)
Bark Of The Canine! Black Defender Ranger!
ALL RANGERS:
(posing)
Power Rangers: Nitro Defenders...Let's Go!
[Colored explosions errupt behind the team, followed by a fiery eruption.]
FIREUS:
Gearoids!
[Three dozen Gearoids appear in front of the quintet.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Let's go, rangers!
ALL RANGERS:
Charge!
[The rangers battle the Gearoids, and defeat them within a few minutes.]
Nitro Gear!
[The five press the "G" symbol on their belt buckles to make the weapons materialize from The chest logos. The quintet grab their gear, and put them together.]
Nitro Defender Cannon!
METALIA:
Not this time, rangers!
[Metalia fires a blast from her whip to knock the rangers unconscious, and drop the weapon. The Green Ranger, however is able to recover.]
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
(crawling over to the cannon)
Must...fire...the cannon!
[The Green Ranger picks up the weapon, and inserts his Super Nitro Cell.]
Fire!
[The Green Ranger fires the weapon to make Fireus fall. The Machine Beast then releases his Banki Energy to go through the Industrial Revolution. During the growth process of the monster, the Green Ranger checks on the others.]
Guys!
[The Green Ranger contacts the Power Center.]
Zordon...Alpha...the other rangers are down...what do I do?
voice of ZORDON:
I will have Alpha teleport them here. The VehAni are on their way as we speak.
[Fireus grows as the other four unconscious rangers are teleported out. The zords arrive shortly thereafter. The Green Ranger boards orca, and straps in for the battle of his life]
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
Okay, guys...the others are down right now...it's up to you guys and me to defeat this guy. Are you ready!?
ALL VEHANI:
Let's get him, Jake!
ALL VEHANI AND GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
Zords...Combine!
[The six VehAni join together to form the megazord.]
Nitro Defender Megazord...Ready To Rumble!
FIREUS:
Ooh! I'm so scared!
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
You should be!
[The megazord and Fireus face-off, and battle for a bit.]
Nitro Defender Kick!
[The megazord's foot makes contact with Fireus, then continues to battle the monster.]
FIREUS:
Eat some steam!
[Fireus shoots steam at the megazord to make it flail a bit.]
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
Let's finish him off...Nitro Defender...
ALL VEHANI AND GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
...Grand Prix!
[The Green Ranger takes hold of the Steering Blaster, and inserts the V-Cell. The megazord's eyes light up as it moves toward the Machine Beast. The VehAni fire their energy at Fireus, who then spins around and collapses before exploding into a massive fireball. The seven celebrate for a bit.]
Yes!
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-NIGHT
[A few minutes later, Jake returns to the base to see that his comrades have sufficiently recovered.]
KEIKO OGAWA:
There he is!
ADAM PARK:
Congratulations on a job well done, Jake!
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
You saved us all!
JAKE GARABEDIAN:
(exhausted)
Thanks guys!
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-NIGHT
[The three villains are very, very, very angry and upset...as are Gasket and Archerina, who speak to the trio on the view-screen.]
KING GASKET:
You three have lost...again! In fact, you've all been losers since day one!
[The three look pitifully dejected.]
QUEEN ARCHERINA:
Yes, but don't fret...
KING GASKET:
...Help is coming your way.
EXT.-OUTER SPACE-NIGHT
[A lone villainous pilot is flying an unknown type of space ship towards Earth.]
ARKIMEDES:
I am coming, General Yogo!
[The ship advances through space, continuing towards Earth.]
