INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-CLASSROOM-DAY
[Abby has recovered enough to be released from the infirmary, and enters the classroom. She has made her decision, and meets with Piper and the seven Light-Spirit Masters.]
ABBY McHENRY:
Hello, everyone...I...have made my decision. I...have decided that it is time for me to depart the academy.
MASTER TAO:
You must find a replacement, then before you transfer your powers...you must channel your...knowledge and experiences to your Jungle Morpher.
ABBY McHENRY:
Understood, Sensei.
[Abby bows to the seven masters, then departs for Silver Hills.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The megazord continues to battle Cheetarix.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Here kitty-kitty!
EXT.-SILVER HILLS-PARK-DAY
[Abby meets an African-American young-adult female at the park. Her name is JASMINE RUSSO, but to friends, she is called "JAZZ." She is wearing a pair of black cargo pants and a yellow t-shirt. Her and Abby catch up on old times.]
JAZZ RUSSO:
So...what have you been up to, lately?
ABBY McHENRY:
Well...that's what I want to talk to you about...it's a little hard to tell anyone outside of the academy.
JAZZ RUSSO:
Academy?
ABBY McHENRY:
Jazz...for the last six months...I've...been a...Power Ranger.
JAZZ RUSSO:
A Power Ranger? Are you serious?
[Abby holds up her morpher.]
You are serious! What's going on?
ABBY McHENRY:
It's time for me to hang up my helmet. I...want you to replace me as the Yellow Ranger.
[Jasmine looks shocked.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The megazord and Cheetarix continue to battle. Both sides trade punches and kicks.]
ALL RANGERS:
Tail Staff...Blade Mode!
[The rangers use the weapon against Cheetarix, who uses her tail against the megazord, and knocks the weapon away from the megazord.]
Predator Superkick!
[The monster escapes the megazord’s finisher and retreats.]
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Come back here, you scaredy cat!
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-CLASSROOM-DAY
[The guys return to see the seven Light-Spirit Masters along with Piper, Brianna, Melissa, and Kira all standing near Abby.]
KENNY TANAKA:
Sensei…what’s going on?
MASTER TAO:
Abby has made her decision…although I will let her reveal her decision when she is ready to.
ABBY McHENRY:
(approaching the others)
Hi, guys!
YOSHI TANAKA:
What’s all this about? Are you okay?
ABBY McHENRY:
I’m okay…um…you know that letter I got yesterday?
[The others nod to say “yes.”]
Well…it…was a recruitment letter. The Global Wildlife Conservancy wants me to be one of their Ambassadors.
SHAWN PATRICK:
That’s great, Abby!
ABBY McHENRY:
So, I’ve decided to take the position…cause, the injuries that I’ve had recently have taken their toll on me, so that’s why I’m leaving the team.
[Jasmine enters the room in her new uniform.]
Guys…this is Jasmine.
JAZZ RUSSO:
You can call me Jazz.
ABBY McHENRY:
Jazz…this is Shawn, Yoshi, and Kenny…you teammates.
MASTER TAO:
(approaching the quintet)
Are we ready for the power transfer ceremony?
ABBY McHENRY:
Yes, Sensei.
MASTER TAO:
May I have everyone’s attention! Every so often, a mentor has to say goodbye to a student. Today, is one of those occasions. Today…we say goodbye to Abigail McHenry.
[Abby brushes away some tears.]
ABBY McHENRY:
(crossing her wrists and putting them to her forehead)
Transfer of Yellow!
[A yellow ball of energy exits her head and flows into the morpher pieces.]
MASTER TAO:
Abby…as you perform the skill, you will still have the memories of your battles…colleagues…and enemies.
[After the skill is complete, Abby takes off her morpher pieces and gives them to Tao, who then gives them to Jasmine.]
These now belong to you, Jasmine. When you put these on, and release the powers, there will be a…rush of experiences that will…hit you on your first morph .
JAZZ RUSSO:
I accept the Jungle Morpher.
[Jasmine straps on both parts of the morpher.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Cheetarix attacks again.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-CLASSROOM-DAY
[Shawn senses the attack and tells the others.]
SHAWN PATRICK:
Trouble in the city!
ABBY McHENRY:
Nothing like on-the-job-training! Well, guys…it was a pleasure fighting alongside you all.
SHAWN PATRICK:
Come by and visit anytime.
[The four stand in a row, preparing to morph. Zo and Pengi stand behind Jazz ready to assist if she needs it. They form the wushu pose and prepare to morph.]
CORE STUDENTS:
Jungle Fury…
KENNY TANAKA:
Wolf Fury…
ALL STUDENTS:
Beast On!
[The four rangers morph and get ready to depart.]
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Whoa! This power feels awesome!
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Let’s go, guys!
[The four rangers depart the academy.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[Cheetarix attacks as the fearful citizens flee. The rangers arrive and get ready to battle the monster.]
REPTIZA:
Ah…the yellow one’s back…Banshees!
[Over two dozen Banshees materialize from the ground.]
YELLOW JUNGLE RANGER:
Ooh! Freaky! Let’s mow them down!
RED JUNGLE RANGER:
Let’s!
[The four rangers battle the Banshees. After defeating them, the rangers turn their attention to Cheetarix.]
CORE RANGERS:
Fury Claws!
[The claws materialize in their right hands.]
Fists Of Fury, Power Up!
[The rangers’ suits upgrade to Fury Mode.]
YELLOW FURY RANGER:
(feeling the power)
Whoa!
[The four rangers battle the monster, and defeat her within a few minutes.]
REPTIZA:
Grow, big kitty!
CHEETARIX:
Meow…Akugata Growth!
[The monster grows, then peers down to the quartet and hisses.]
RED FURY RANGER:
Bad kitty! Aura of the gorilla!
BLUE FURY RANGER:
It’s to the pound for you! Aura of the gazelle!
YELLOW FURY RANGER:
You give us cheetahs a bad rap! Aura of the penguin!
CORE RANGERS:
Beast Auras…release!
[The Fury Rangers release their auras, which then transform into zords as the three enter them.]
Beast Unity!
[The three zords unite to form the megazord.]
Beast Megazord! Transformation complete!
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Aura of the wolf! Release!
[The Royal Wolf Ranger releases his aura, which forms into the Wolf Junglezord, the ranger enters the zord.]
Tiger and Panther Junglezords…online!
[The tiger and panther auras are released from the wolf in a purple hue, then turn to their regular colors.]
Alright! Jungle Unity!
[The three zords unite to form the megazord.]
Jungle Fury Megazord…Predator Mode! Transformation complete!
[The two megazords stand side-by-side, and ready for battle.]
CHEETARIX:
Dark Cheetah Strike!
[The monster strikes the megazords with her claws, which knocks the zords back a bit, with sparks.]
CORE RANGERS:
Beast Spinning Fist!
ROYAL WOLF JUNGLE RANGER:
Predator Superkick!
[The two megazords perform their finishers to destroy the monster. The zords then pose in victory as the four rangers celebrate in their cockpits.]
INT.-ALMOZAR PALACE-NIGHT
[The villains are not happy with the monster’s defeat.]
INT.-JUNGLE FURY ACADEMY-CLASSROOM-NIGHT
[Jazz gives everyone a short speech.]
JAZZ RUSSO:
Well…I know it’ll take a bit for me to get used to being a ranger…
YOSHI TANAKA:
We’ll help guide you.
SHAWN PATRICK:
Welcome to the family, Jazz!
