[In the early morning, the camera pans from the doorway to the juice bar. Ryder, Jake, and Matt sit at one table, while Brandon sits at another one nearby, with stacks of paper and about six books. Keiko is in the kitchen cooking up some scrambled eggs, and serves them to the guys.]
KEIKO OGAWA:
(yelling)
Scrambled eggs in a minute, guys!
RYDER SWANSON:
(to Brandon)
Hey, Brandon...what'cha working on?
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
A way to combine all six zords for more power..
RYDER SWANSON:
So...the Nitro Defender Megazord?
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
Thanks!
MATT SANDOVAL:
For what!?
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
The new megazord combination needed a name!
[Keiko comes out of the kitchen carrying a platter with four plates of scrambled eggs. The three look at the watered-down eggs, then take a bite...it tastes horrible, but they try to be polite to her. She then sits down and takes a bite, only to realize that she's a bad cook.]
KEIKO OGAWA:
Sorry guys...I tried!
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[The three generals stand side-by-side, fixated on footage from Shutter's defeat on the viewscreen.]
YOGO:
So...with this...footage, our next Machine Beast can use the information to defeat the rangers.
METALIA:
And I have just the candidate...Reflectra!
[Metalia shows off a Machine Beast that is being charged up in the chamber.]
INT.-CITY-DOJO-DAY
[Chloe enters the room.]
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
Hey, Chloe...where's Adam?
CHLOE WILCOX:
At the Power Center...why?
RYDER SWANSON:
Brandon found a way to upgrade the zords.
[Chloe looks over to the television, which depicts an already giant monster attacking the city. Ryder's morpher beeps.]
voice of ALPHA SIX:
Rangers...a Machine Beast is rampaging through the city!
RYDER SWANSON:
We see it on the t-v...we're on it!
[The five prepare their morphers.]
ALL:
Start Up!
[In a five-in-one ("X" formation) screen, the suits fully form over the quintet.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The five rangers teleport in as the citizens flee from the giant monster in fear.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Let's go to work!
[The six zords arrive, and the team gets in.]
NITRO RANGERS:
Nitrozords...
DEFENDER RANGERS:
Defenderzords...
ALL RANGERS:
...Combine!
[The Condor, Lion, and Bear combine to form the Nitro Megazord, while the Orca, Canine, and Gator combine to form the Defender Megazord.]
NITRO RANGERS:
Nitro Megazord...
DEFENDER RANGERS:

ALL RANGERS AND ZORDS:

REFLECTRA:
Bring it on!
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Nitro Sword!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
I got 'em in my sights!
REFLECTRA:
Really!?
[Reflectra opens the mirrors on her chest, and copies orca and canine. The copy-canine appears on her right arm.]
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER::
What!?
GREEN DEFENDER RANGER:
No, way!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
Oh, no!
[Reflectra fires blasts from the copy-canine at the Defender Megazord, causing it to spark.]
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
Whoa!
[Reflectra's copy-orca appears on her left arm, then slashes the Defender Megazord several times. The two Defender Rangers are thrown out as their three zords revert to cast form. The two rangers then recover enough to see the Machine Beast go after the Nitro Megazord.]
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Charge!
REFLECTRA:
Not so fast, rangers!
BLACK DEFENDER RANGER:
Look out guys!
[Reflectra opens her mirrors to copy the sword, which then promptly appears in her right hand.]
REFLECTRA:
Anything you can do, I can do better!
RED NITRO RANGER:
Careful, everyone!
[Reflectra uses the copy-sword to slash the megazord. The three rangers are thrown out as their zords revert to cast form.]
REFLECTRA:
(as she runs out of power)
I'd like to stay and play, but I need a re-charge!
[Reflectra vanishes as the five rangers are left pondering.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-DAY
[The five rangers are helmet-less and recovering as their casts re-charge.
ZORDON:
I've been studying your previous battles, and have come to a conclusion.
[A video plays of the two megazords finishing off shutter.]
It appears that Shutter took pictures of your finishing attacks, and...
MATT SANDOVAL:
...And...Reflectra is using the footage to her advantage!
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
I think my zord remodel plan should begin immediately.
ZORDON:
Brandon...can I see your final blueprint?
[Brandon holds up the rolled-up paper, and un-rolls it.]
Yes...I believe it can work.
CONDOR:
Can I see?
[Ryder shows Condor the blueprint.]
Yes! It will work!
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
Great! The casts are charged, so let's get to work!
ZORDON:
You can use the old Zeozord Bay. There is a lot of room in there.
[After a group nod, the team gets ready to go to work.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[The generals celebrate by drinking octane fluid as Reflectra re-charges.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-OLD ZEOZORD BAY-DAY
[The five get ready to work on the Defenderzords.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[The three generals, now drunk, watch Reflectra exit the chamber. Metalia tries to order up a M.E.G. launch, but cannot.]
METALIA:
M.E.G.s...(hic) laun...(hic).
REFLECTRA:
Here, allow me...M.E.G.s! Launch!
[Reflectra departs the base.]
EXT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[Hundreds of M.E.G.s launch for the city.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-OLD ZEOZORD BAY-DAY
[Brandon, Jake, and Matt get busy as Ryder and Keiko lend a hand. Suddenly, Ryder's communicator beeps..]
voice of ADAM PARK:
Guys...Reflectra's back in the city with some M.E.G.s...you'd better get out there!
RYDER SWANSON:
We're on it. Come on, Brandon...we gotta go!
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
You guys can handle her. Here's my Super Nitro Cell, and Lion's cast. We'll join you soon.
RYDER SWANSON:
Okay. Don't take too long!
[Ryder and Keiko depart the base.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The M.E.G.s flood the skies over the city, and fire their lasers to destroy some buildings. When Condor, Lion, and Bear arrive, the M.E.G.s fire on them.]
INT.-MOUNTAINS.POWER CENTER-OLD ZEOZORD BAY-DAY
[Jake and Matt follow Brandon's instructions to re-program the zords.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The Red and Yellow Rangers along with the three Nitrozords take on the M.E.G.s.]
CONDOR:
Ryder...I have an idea...press the button marked "Flame."
[The Red Ranger presses the button.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Condor Flame!
[Fire errupts from Condor's exposed engine block, and whips several M.E.G.s with the flames to destroy them.]
Y'all are toast!
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-OLD ZEOZORD BAY-DAY
[The three (Jake, Matt, and Brandon) continue to work on the Defenderzords.]
MATT SANDOVAL:
Okay, Canine...let's try this...
CANINE:
(shaking a bit)
Ooh! That tickles!
[Brandon is on the floor under Gator. His morpher is opened up on the floor next to him.]
voice of RED NITRO RANGER:
Brandon...we can really use some help out here!
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
We're almost ready!
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The two Nitro Rangers and the three Nitrozords continue to battle the M.E.G.s.]
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
Ready, Bear!?
BEAR:
Yeah...I'm hungry!
YELLOW NITRO RANGER AND BEAR:
Bear Chomp!
[Bear goes airborne by leaping off of some debris, and chomps of several M.E.G.s, destroying them.]
LION:
My turn...Mane Missiles!
[Lion's missiles destroy several more M.E.G.s, the all three face a giant Machine Beast.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
We need to bring them together, guys!
BOTH NITRO RANGERS AND LION:
Nitrozords...Combine!
[The three Nitrozords join together to form the Nitro Megazord.]
Nitro Megazord...Ready To Rumble!
LION:
Nitro Sword!
[The sword comes out of it's compartment on the back of it's leg, and un-folds to land in the right hand.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Let's take her down!
REFLECTRA:
Not so fast!
[Green, blue, and yellow energy bolts hit the Machine Beast, and she gains armor based on the three generals.]
Here's looking at you, rangers!
RED NITRO RANGER:
Whoa!
[Reflectra twists a valve, and shoots a force of water at the megazord, which flails before falling into and destroying a building. The megazord then recovers.]
REFLECTRA:
(kicking some missiles to the megazord)
Here...catch!
[The missiles make the megazord flail again.]
Tornado Strike!
[Reflectra spins to the megazord, and strikes is six times. The Machine Beast then blasts it with her shoulder cannons.]
I'm having a blast!
[The megazord struggles to recover as Reflectra is celebrating!]
INT.-MOUNTAINS-POWER CENTER-DAY
[The re-programming of the Defenderzords is complete.. In the base, Alpha is charging the special V-Cells, and the system is still uploading.]
ALPHA SIX:
The V-Cell system is ninety percent uploaded.
BRANDON CRAWFORD:
Come on, guys...let's ranger up!
ALL THREE:
(preparing their morphers)
Start Up!
[The suits fully form over the trio.]
ALPHA SIX:
Here you go...they're ready!
[The three rangers take the five V-Cells, and depart for the zords.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The Nitro Megazord continues to battleReflectra, whose left hand forms into a spiked mace.]
REFLECTRA:
(firing the mace at the megazord)
Here...have a ball!
[The spiked mace knocks the megazord down, but it quickly recovers.]
RED NITRO RANGER:
Grand Prix!
[The megazord tries to perform it's finisher, but Reflectra knocks it down with her spiked mace, and the megazord breaks apart.]
Arrgh!
[The other rangers arrive in the Defenderzords. The Blue Ranger appears on the top of Gator, and fires lasers from his Lionzooka, then enters Lion as Reflectra blasts the six zords.]
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Okay, everyone...let's try to ring them together!
ALL RANGERS:
Zords...combine!
[All six zords join together to form a new megazord combination. The rangers depart from their individual cockpits, and arrive in a centralized cockpit, located behind the megazord's eyes. The steering wheels all arrive and lock into place.]
Nitro Defender Megazord...Ready To Rumble!
[The Nitro Rangers are seated in front (from right to left are Blue, Red, and Yellow), while the two Defender Rangers are in back (from right to left are Green, and Black).]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-DAY
[The three generals quickly sober up as they see the new combination, and are in shock...Metalia drops a drinking glass as her face turns blue.]
EXT.-CITY-DAY
[The Nitro Defender Megazord faces Reflectra, who tries to use her mace again, but is deflected and destroyed by Orca, and Canine.]
REFLECTRA:
Ooh! You'll pay for that! Mirrors!
[Reflectra opens up her mirrors, but the megazord counters.]
ALL RANGERS:
Nitro Defender...Power Kick!
[The megazord kicks Reflectra in the mirrors, shattering them...the shards fall to the street below.]
YELLOW NITRO RANGER:
Gotcha!
RED NITRO RANGER:
Brandon...anything else in the arsenal?
BLUE NITRO RANGER:
Just a standard Grand Prix attack. Everyone...insert your V-Cells into the steering wheels!
[The steering wheels un-lock.]
Now, pull them out, and put them into Blaster Mode.
[The five rangers are now armed.]
ALL RANGERS:
V-Cells...Online!
[All the eyes on the individual zord components light up.]
Nitro Defender...Grand Prix!
[The "zord eyes" fire energy beams at Reflectra, who is then destroyed.]
Yeah!
[The rangers celebrate for a bit, then exit the megazord, as the six zords revert to cast form.]
INT.-MECHANICO ISLAND-NIGHT
[The villains sulk after yet another defeat.]
METALIA:
Those blasted rangers!
YOGO:
The King and Queen are not gonna be happy!
ARGO:
That's for sure!
YOGO:
I think it's time to call on some help from home.
INT.-CITY-DOJO-NIGHT
[The quintet celebrate their victory with Adam and Chloe.]
ADAM PARK:
Excellent work, guys!
CONDOR:
Yes...but I sense that there is something bad coming...something...very bad!
[The team looks a bit puzzled as the VehAni look very worried.]
